No, Who's on second.
(I was thinking the same thing when I read her post, lol.)

<insert fake tag here, because it takes too long to find old members in old posts who haven't logged in for years>
@snot
A thought or question occurs to me here:

Is it possible that some who are active members now avoid involvement in threads like this one because they do want to become friends or even friendly acquaintances with anyone they may be 'fighting' on other threads?

Since this thread is already off course, I will tag more than one...

I feel like ignoring Daylight Savings Time this year because now I will be getting home from work after dark.

@stretchArmstrong
Go ahead and reset your watch now but set it back 2 hours rather than 1 to give you that longer well lit evening. Hmmm... is that going to work? What might your employer think? Ah well I am so used to having no employer I am in another world, I guess... Do as you think best!

Give God the glory!

I have so many people on ignore that I've lost count @amadeus, but you could be right. And not just on this thread but on the forum as a whole. I know I've cut down a lot on posting because I don't want to get ridiculed or involved in heated discussions.

Anyway back to the original post:

I Don't Know About You...But I Feel Like...a daughter of the King. And now I'm going back to my sewing.

I don't know about you, but I feel like a creamy rich aromatic cappuccino Brazilian with the pretty fernleaf design in cream on top with sprinkles of chocolate around about in a mug especially designed for my fat fingers and made lovingly by an experienced barista ... The trouble is I gave up coffee two weeks ago. :confused:

What I don't feel like is pouring through the 145 posts between the time I was tagged and now.
Please pray about that coffee thing. Uber do deliver.
@marks
Watermelon juice is the new coffee. :)

As the number of posts has increased or my ability to read all of them has diminished, I long ago began to purposely avoid some people [I don't put anyone on 'ignore] and/or some subjects. This is for my own benefit as well as because much of this continuing conflict is not edifying anyone... especially anyone who simply wants to move toward God.

Yes, sewing is a very good occupation. I remember when I was small boy becoming interested in crocheting because both my mother and my paternal grandmother spent hours doing it and I saw many of the fine results.

I asked my grandmother and she taught me a few basic stitches... but alas in those days a boy was teased for having such interests. I was teased enough without that, so I soon quit. I often wish that I had not... but then back to the nursery rhyme:

"If wishes were horses, beggars would ride"!

Well, judging by how we all spell in these forums one of two things is happening: 1) we're all leaving a lot of random little misspelled words for others to correct, or, 2) no one is learning from the misspelled words we're leaving for others to correct and learn from.

@spelChek
My problem is I miss entire words.

I made such an idiot of myself in a trinity debate thread recently, I'm sorely ashamed of myself. Dreadfully sorry to anyone here who had the misfortune of witnessing that. :)

I guess God involved me elsewhere. Perhaps I am better off for not not having been there.

Well yeah. I just became aware that you’re supposed to know who started a thread if they are liberal or conservative, or who disagrees with you on something or who doesn’t, and there’s some sort of unspoken rule that you’re supposed to stay out of threads you “don’t belong in.” Or at least not quote and discuss a persons post who doesn’t agree with you on everything. I literally had no idea about this. I will be very bad at it because some say they are conservative but you later see they say that but that they more often have a liberal viewpoint on most things. So it’s confusing to me because just because you call yourself this or that does not mean you think and live as this or that. I know animosities exist, where the same two people want to argue about the same thing over and over again, and I skip over their posts usually, but…I didn’t have any idea about the unspoken rule until recently. It’s too confusing. I won’t be able to figure it out. I don’t have the TIME to figure it out. It takes hours and hours to unravel what’s going on between even just two people and there are a LOT of people in here, and I never have been able to figure out social cues. You have to speak extremely specific to me because social subtleties go right over my head. I’m missing a…social cues chip or something. It’s been lifelong. I graduated top 5% of my class, I can handle involved information, but throw some unspoken social cue at me and I’m the most obtuse mess you ever did see.
