Liberals listen to Liberal news and Conservatives listen to Conservative news,
and neither side can tolerate the other sides point of view.

As long as there is CNN vs. Fox News and NYTimes vs. Gateway Pundit,
The divide will remain.

Does anyone remember what life was like before politics?

Getting ready for the holidays. Raking the leaves and mowing the lawn one last time before the snow falls.
Gathering the wood for the fireplace, getting out the decorations.
Deciding what kind of pies to cook or if your having Turkey or roast goose.
Getting out the shovels and the de-icer. Making sure your tires and windshield wipers are ready for winter.

All the trees here in New England have those beautiful fall colors. And the days are still a little warm but you can feel the slight chill in the air.
Picking Apples for the apple pies and Pumpkins for the pumkin pies.
I can smell it already..

If the government wants to sit out this winter's holiday festivies that's their decision.
I'm still going to admire the changing of the seasons around me and eat mince meat pie.

:)

Ah, you had me, you so had me!
You lost me at mincemeat pie…

Biden is trying to help the workers.

It didn’t work…
I think I will be having to close my business soon. It dropped off a cliff last week of July and hasn’t come back. I can gauge consumer confidence before they even put the monthly numbers out because I sell 100% discretionary items. And the big businesses that can keep going, which sell non discretionary items, are having a tremendous struggle restocking items for sale. It’s coming down, man. I might always see it first, but eventually, it all comes down. I saw it also in…what was it 2009? Different business, but was still discretionary spending. Also saw it Jan, feb, March of 2020. In fact, I closed before they told me I had to because it made no sense to keep opening when I wasn’t even meeting the electric bill, let alone rent.

Funny, out of all the pies to think of, that one came first.
And I'm not a mincemeat pie fan. Mincemeat cookies, maybe, but not pie.

My family is from Pa. They put weird things in food. A pumpkin pie with Reese’s pieces. I could give more examples but I’m telling you, they would terrify you.

And the staple of Pa. is cream of mushroom soup. They put it in EVERYTHING.
I like cream of mushroom soup but does it have to be in EVERY dish??

Axiomatic Analysis. It is NOT about a point of view, as in, how does the flower look from your point of view. It is taking opposite sides of the issue on deep and profound philosophical grounds.

The debate is as old as the country itself. The Hamiltonians, modern day Liberals, value Economies of Scale benefits from centralizing power. The Jeffersonians, modern day Conservatives, value safe guarding Liberty through federalism, dividing power. There is no middle ground but there is a balance. They fundamentally disagree on what the proper balance is.

Is that your final decision? All decisions are final, by definition. So, there is no point tolerating another lap on the subject. Their minds are made up. So is mine. So is yours.

So you get a nice piece of steak and pour cream of mushroom soup over it. Wrap it in tinfoil and bake in the oven 375 for about 20 minutes.
Tender and juicy, even I can eat it without any teeth.

I'm waiting for my gums to heal well before I try steak...though I'm not old! It was prednisone that did it. It could've happened to a 20 year old! Lol...sigh.

I looked that up on Google..
It's way to complicated for me.

"Unalienable Rights" are the rights that are rightfully, permanently and non-negotiably handed down to us by the One God of our Creation referred to in the bible.

I haven't baught meat for a long time. I buy a lot of fish. The doctor once told me fish was my friend.
Most of the time it's just veggies and dairy.
But if you put a slab of Prime Rib under my nose I would probably devour it.
:)
and mashed potatoes and gravy with mushrooms and onions...
it's 1:30 pm and I haven't had breakfast.
People coming to the house today working on the electric, others helping to repair the shop.
Busy day today and I'm HUNGRY.
LOL

Awww…so sorry.
I assumed you were older. You seem not real young to me. I imagined you were…50’s at least. Too much wisdom for a child!

I seemed not real young!!! Has anyone ever told you that you're funny? Probably not! Look, I'm supposed to be 63, but I'm not, really. Somebody tricked me somehow. They tricked physics and time, too! And my body! I don't know how they did it, but they must be really smart!
...I'll take 50s! Lol

I'm watching the beginnings of a Crisis in Action.
Problem, Reaction, Solution.

So there is a hearing today on the Impacts of a cashless society and how it could effect people that don't have access to the banking system. Like bank accounts. Al Green is chairing the committee. He opposes a cashless society as do I. I don't like Al Green.
This is what you call getting ahead of a crisis in the making.
If people have no access to cash through the banking system, and some companies are beginning to deny cash transactions...
what could be the solution?

I'm about 22 minutes into this 1 hr 32 min discussion.
It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

I think we know where this is leading.. eventually.
It's just interesting to watch how we get from point A to point B in record time.

Just sharing
Hugs
