Of course. I don't necessarily agree that God is the only one we can trust. I trust my mother. She would give her life for me. I trust my son. He would do the same. But, yea, I hear what you're saying.

It is a comforting thought to believe that . But in the end we never truly know what a person will do .
BUT WE KNOW GOD CANNOT FAIL US . Not ever . ANY one us can fail , but not the glorious LORD .
Always remember that my friend . I cant even trust in myself . BUT I CAN TRUST IN GOD .

I voted for Trump but I criticized him many, many times. As I said earlier in this thread, most of the GOP is also corrupt. What gets me, however, are the political leftists that cannot recognize and acknowledge TRUTH.

I think we're supposed to speak the truth but to do so in a loving and supportive way, something that I sometimes struggle to do.

We have heard of others in their difficulties among people we have known or about whom we have read in the scriptures and elsewhere.

Also in our own lives we have our difficulties. I won't tell you what to say or when to say it. For me it must come from God, but I do not believe every hears the same things because not everyone is the same part of the Body of Christ and not everyone is in a given moment in precisely the same place on the Highway of Holiness.

God knows all of these things about us better than we do about ourselves. How good is our hearing? Pray that God will improve both your hearing and your vision of Him and of His Way so that you will hear and see when you have the need.

I'm not Nostradamus and so I don't pretend to know what's going to happen. I presume it involves people becoming upset at the truth and then going into hiding rather than confront it.

The country was doing pretty well before the pandemic. Trump was FAR more competent AND caring for poor and middle-class Americans. You may not be aware, but the unemployment rate for black Americans was NEVER lower than it was when Trump was president. Trump was anti-abortion and was more supportive of Israel than any president in history. Trump was the one that negotiated with the Taliban to get us out of Afghanistan and no U.S. soldier was killed by enemy fire until Joe's DISASTROUS debacle at the Kabul airport. Our southern border was NEVER more secure and now we're closing in on a MILLION "migrants" invading our nation. Trump had his warts, but he was GREAT for average Americans.

You voted for a guy that sells out average Americans. Joe's son is selling art in return for political favors.

Joe is the most incompetent and crooked president in U.S. history. I'm AMAZED that anyone voted for this crook.

Also, only follow any people as they follow Christ. If they do not follow Christ then do not compromise even if it means having no man by your side.

I encountered constant intolerance from many of the conservatives who supported the former president the first two years of his presidency. I was harassed, berated, and ridiculed. I'm sad to say that this mistreatment only worsened after these conservative Christians found out that I voted for Joe Biden. I had to even block a couple of my relatives on Facebook because they wouldn't stop harassing me. President Biden is the first Democratic presidential candidate that I've ever voted for since I registered to vote as a Republican in 1992. I guarantee that he won't be the last Democrat I vote for in the upcoming national elections if the Republican party can't be saved from the clutches of the former president.

Like everything else, we must DISCERN what is true and what isn't.

Yes of course, comes with wisdom, common sense and the guidance of The Holy Spirit.

Biblical discernment is different IMO. It is used to test the spirits, and to recognize false teachers as, there are MANY out there, more so I think than genuine God fearing teachers.
Romans 12:2
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

Lot's of other scripture on discernment as well.
I just pray for His guidance, make a decision asking Him to bless it if the scriptures are not clear that it is or is not His will. Either way, we trust Him in all things.
