Not surprised today Pearl. There are those many professing to be born-again although they are CINO. One of my sisters once said she found Christ....her life style never changed at all.
The follow up article:
Not surprised.
Children have been indoctrinated for years, (by teachers, TV AND parents) that anyone who believes in a god", are all believing in the "same god".
Remember "Oprah"? 25 years of a TV show and people hanging on her every word?
Today Oprah has numerous venues for the interested to be "informed".
Her web-site boasts;
"The place for everything in Oprah's world. Get health, beauty, recipes, money, decorating and relationship advice to live your best life..."
And quotes from Oprah;
"I'm a Christian".
"Jesus isn't the only way to God".
There is a "huge" difference between "tolerate" and "agree".
Glory to God,
Taken
The follow up article:
Nearly 70% of born again Christians aren't really born again.
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:20we’re waiting for you’re highness to tell us how?
So then to an underlying question... what does Jesus really mean here?
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit." John 3:5-8
Very sad, if 70% of Christians are in such error. Then compound upon that 30% the Christians in name only.
Maybe it's a natural evolution that injects benevolence into the closed foreordaind elitist salvation doctrine.
Reworking a creator of all things setting the fate of his creation, for good & heaven or bad & hell, to make a more palatable definition encompassed in the deific trait of benevolence.
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:20
