This, in itself, is a reason to celebrate!

This is a modern sophisticated version you have here. The ones I'm speaking about were made of the typical clear thick glass over-sized bottle container as big as in the picture you have here. It had a simple metal screw off top under pressure, inside with a white plastic downward cupped retainer cover to maintain the pressure and preserve the taste so it would not go 'flat.'

That reminds me of my elder sister. She was having her 16th birthday bash inside the garage with all her neighbor friends. She snuck in the frig and unscrewed a flagon or two so they has to be either chucked out fairly quickly or drank even quicker. That was her plan. My Dad caught on and gave her what for.....maybe he wanted to keep the excess beer for himself and his mates come to think of it...

I prefer ice-cold Heiny from a glass quart-sized bottle myself, though beer is beer...unless it's Canadian-made Budweiser or Coors Lite. Then there was Alberta-made Uncle Ben's. It tasted like water, molasses, and alcohol mixed together and then bottled...but during a beer strike, you drank what you could. I haven't had a beer in years. Perhaps I'll get a case! Lol

I've not drank any suds in over a year...maybe at a restaurant with my wife...I have had a swig of wine maybe 6 months ago..

When as far as reg. US beer goes..Bud and other cheap beers gives me a headache afterwards, even just after drinking one.
I prefer the dutch heiny as yourself...the ultra light Coors is like water......some of the micro brews are fine as well including a few Sam Adams...
Guinness is great when I'm in the mood....OZ beers are ok as well...the Steinlager from NZ is not the best beer by a long shot..PS Canadian Moose is great

My favorite was a Canadian beer called, "Black Horse." Though last time I checked, one had to go to B.C., which is a long way to go for a beer. I seem to have weird taste.

Beer... How dare you suggest such a thing...
You'll catch covid... What are you irresponsible... It's a matter of public health
No parties
No singing
No dancing
No laughing
No talking
No breathing
And certainly no beer

The new tracking code assigned in the doctors office that will notify any govt and medical org, including insurance companies if you got the jab or not.....this is how they will divide you and may want to reach out to you at your doorstep, to be re-educated at one of their free teambuilding camps, free food and drinks, no beer... with guard towers alert, for your protection.

So I guess Taiwan's stopping the Pfizer jab.
True...and some other countries...and also the moderna....only a little over 50 percent of the US pop. has had at least one jab...and the feds still think they can squeeze more blood out of a rock that won't give... in....

Came about about a couple of weeks ago....
Representative Randy Hiller explains why the culture war surrounding lockdowns and Covid restrictions must be won by those with common sense before it's too late.

Canadian Rep. Has Dire Message For Western World

Canadian Rep. Has Dire Message For Western World
This guy spoke at a couple of anti-lockdown rallies I attended earlier this year. If we don't stop this, we deserve what we get. My society has sold out lock, stock, and barrel. I expect to become more of a social pariah than I already am. Whatever. I'm already half-dead so I don't really care.
I just stood up to someone preaching far-left hate propaganda against the Jews on another "friendlier" Christian site, and of course they went silent. Though I'm sure they reported me. I didn't do anything wrong but sometimes it seems like it's acceptable to hate Jews. Well, guess what, everybody, I'm a Jew. SMH This world is God's problem.

Need more Reps like this guy...and your voice about this growing cultural/political war on all humans that want to stay human, and want to be recognized as individuals with real God given rights...that no man can arbitrarily encroach and ban.

Hey... Stop making fun of Golum/Smeagle... My precious
He is by far the best character in the Lord of the Rings series. His the only reason i watched part 2 and 3
I can relate to his struggle with his inner demons

fqd8pdp24ef11.jpg

Golums spiritual warfare...
When he comes from a position of love then he comes as a sweet innocent child like creature.
But when he is overcome by hate, jealousy, fear and such then he gives into the will of Satan.

He is a good character man... Better than those silly little hobits
You are right about he is the best character and is the only reason that I watched the show, my nipper loves it and I would come out when I heards him talk and I woulds walk away when he was not on to do other things, did not sit down to watch the whole show until some years after.

I was working on a chemical psychologist house when this show came out and I was going to ask him what the hell is this character all about, but we talked about a mate of mine up the road who had been locked up in wally world two times, I came to understand what was going on with a group of such people, who my nippers school would do plays for once a year.
Some would come up to me slobbering and walking slow grunting to move, but that was just the medication that they were on I found out and my mate filled me in on much more of such that goes on in wally world and other such gigs.

Without Gollum the show would be a flop. I think that they just put him in their to liven it up.

There is no need to make fun of this low-life! One needs to keep in mind that he himself started off life as a halfling. A good prison sentence would've straightened him out. Followed by court-mandated 12-step attendance. Lol
It's My Birthday ! And I want's it !
So then he killed his mate ! he was a Murderer before the Ring possessed him.

I read "Silmarillion and other Tales", "Unfinished Tales," "The Hobbit," and the trilogy. I don't think there were any more. My favorite of all time.

Literally, you neighbor would come over with a wooden crate of 6-8 flagons of beer about 1.5 gals each after you helped him build his garage or even a smaller job. That was the typical friendly gesture made back in those days, when life was simpler and you really got to know your neighbor. In fact the one neighbor that I'm thinking about was a Maori family .... and my Dad was very handy will tools, the hammer, the welder and with sheer Popeye brute strength, one I would not like to mix with in a dark alley way. And this Ted neighbor was no slouch either...he played local rugby whilst in his 30s...
I only remember 750ml bottles of beer or stubys 375ml, my dad never drank at home unless we had a party, apart form that at the Pub they all drank 5 or 7's that's about say 150ml and 220ml I think in QLD before air-conditioned pubs came about. so they had shouts of 150ml go around and not 375ml shouts.
I drank XXXX Bitter only mainly, but it has to be very cold to taste the best and if the bottle etc is subjected to a temp over a given point it's destroyed in fact, just like good wine can be destroy in the same way.
So to drink XXXX Bitter correctly is a work of art, big difference between how a yobbo may dish it up to you, as many would not like it, because it's not dealt with of served correctly.
In Darwin I could not drink XXXX because it does not travel, due to the heat in the traveling with it from QLD.

I drink Tooheys Old, dark ale on cold winter nights, just magic, bit never on hot days yuck !

In NZ it was Pilsner Urquell I think, but out of the tap from the Bar.

The Poms drink warm Stout beer in big mugs.

The USA drink ? I had a Budwiser ? tasted like bananas to me, had 3 sips and I tossed it.
The Yanks would come to QLD before the 90's and get smashed off their face because our beer was all like 4.8% alc.
