I feel that Churches in our country are going to morph into doing church, in a way that is unfamiliar to us as a nation.

I am speaking part prophetic, and part visionary. I see small groups of around 10 people or less, gathered together in someone's home, watching their denomination's, live stream church service, due to Covid restrictions and other future restrictions.

In the future I see church buildings become less of a gathering place and small collective groups, grow with a leader for each. These are representing various churches. I believe home churches will come to the forefront in my country and the church will eventually have to go underground due to continuous legislation.....

I saw our senior nurse [in my work place] crying in two consecutive dreams. At the moment we are struggling covering shifts due to the loss of a number of nurses who have chosen not to get vaccinated. It has not been too bad at present but it has had an impact on staff as more shifts lead to overworked, stressed, tired people who can make mistakes.

I can see [discern] that the future is not looking good for us as a service to our community.

I think this is correct, and already under way. You are speaking of your country, but this will likely be the trend in most countries, IMO. The US appears to have bounced back in large part, at least where things like sporting events are concerned. But this new variant, and likely the one after that, and the one after that...

Plus, I think the churches are simply becoming more and more superficial, which will add to the trend. There was a time when going to a service in a large powerful church was the thing to do, but is it really worth it when you get an empty feeling leaving out of it, and don't really feel like you've been fed? I think Covid will open the door to more people seeking home gatherings, and being more comfortable with the idea, and there is always more of an interactive feel with home meetings, which is the way it was in New Testament times. You could participate (1 Corinthians 14:26), you could ask questions (1 Corinthians 14:35), and if you can find a good group, the gifts can flow freely and the Spirit will be present in the worship...

When I first bought my house, I had home meetings in mind, actually. And I may go back to thinking about it some day.

This is something I've been "seeing" for a few years now..... believers gathering in small groups, under a tree, or in homes, or while working in a field ....not in "church buildings" ....discussing the Word, dwelling together in unity of the faith.

Let me share something written and prophesied 40 years ago, that goes in line with what you may be taking about. I find the last line particularly interesting:

There will be worldwide house church, home group and "Christian Community" movements which will help prepare the saints for both persecution and the harvest... The Jerusalem church met from house to house because when the Lord is moving all His people want to do is meet together and worship Him. These things happened spontaneously. There is a difference between doing something because it is a doctrine and doing it because the Lord is moving so powerfully that we are swept up in it.

As the intensity of this next move of God picks up, Christian communities will be birthed with people hardly realizing it. The focus will not be on "community life," but on doing all things for the sake of the gospel. The community will just be a means of being more efficient in the labors of the harvest... some will serve as refuges for persecuted Christians and Jews...

As saints gather spontaneously in one another's homes... a great anointing will be upon these meetings, and some of the greatest visitations of the Lord will take place in them. Leaders and ministries will be raised up through them just as Stephen and Phillip were in the first church. Even large congregations will be making home meetings the center of church life. Without knowing it, most of these are being prepared for a time when large meetings will be banned, or become the targets of violence and persecution. (Joyner, The Harvest, P.157-159)

if this works as it did with the early Church what is it with expensive real estate, with opulent structures and with hierarchies which get fat wallets and power to control?

Thursday 3 December 2021 - New Zealand

I went to the store tonight to buy supplement pills for immune suport. It has vit C, D Zinc, olive leaf, and garlic in it. Also bought other types of medication preparing for the days ahead. Our country goes into the new traffic light system where some of the hardest hit areas of Covid 19 like Auckland, will be able to come into other regions of NZ that have not been affected. I'm sure we will see a rise of infections right across the country when that happens...Tonight the supermarket in my area was packed with people trying to buy things before the city dwellers come down and wipe us out.....which they did when Covid first come into our country. They wiped out the city and then came down to the smaller towns and rural areas and wiped us out as well....

The govt has also bought in vaccine certificates [passes] which will be used starting tomorrow. Places like the supermarkets and petrol stations [gas] are exempt from needing a vaccine pass but if anyone wants to go to a cafe or to watch a game or take public transport or go to a restaurant etc, they will need a pass. Passes indicate that you have had the two Pfizer shots needed to be fully vaccinated here. If you don't have a pass...you become extremely limited and I'm sure it's going to get worse.....

I believe too that the times of the Megachurch are up.

Already occurring. But not watching telecasts. Opening their Bibles and reading First Hand...some for the First Time.

God is bringing his church back to their roots.

There is a defining line, between “believers” and the “converted” (ie Christ’s Church).

Believers, “beginners, listeners, followers, wondering, questioning, denying, believing....wavering”....It’s New, It’s curious, It’s exactly what the disciples went through...and so does every MAN who begins Hearing for the First time.

Little children, WHO trust their parents beliefs, and are Taught by their parents, Believe as their parents. Men are more skeptical, wonder, question the hard to believe...as did the disciples.

The CHURCH, IS the “Converted”. The ones already having heard, followed, continued, listened more, read, studied, Heartfully Convinced to Make a Commitment of Belief....and called....IN Christ. They are fully committed...
Body, soul, spirit. Already prepared, for the end of days Tribulation, to be Risen Up Above the Earth, to the Clouds....same as in the days of Noah, as he was Saved, Risen Up Above the Earth, IN an Ark, above the face of the Earth, above the peaks of the mountain tops, IN the clouds.

But what about, those learning, following, believing in Jesus (but not Converted)....and the end of days Tribulation come upon them? They shall be bodily killed. Not participate in Christ’s 1,000 year reign.
They shall be soul saved, rise unto God, and their body risen in glory after the 1,000 years. They are called...IN JESUS.

While yes the CHURCH is coming back to its roots, IN Homes, as in the beginning days....the “new”, the “children”, the interested “adults”.... are joining in to hear and learn. Praise God!

1 Thes 4:
[14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
[15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
[16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
[17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
[18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

See? (Primarily affecting Gentiles)...
The Lord gathers those IN Christ. (Church)
God gathers those IN Jesus.
At the time of any mans Natural Death;
IF a Believer....IF Converted...God has a Salvation Plan For them.
(* Jews are not forgotten...God has a Salvation Plan for them as well)

Praise and Glory to God,
Taken

Thank you @Angelina i never thought about this. Many folks at the church have mentioned that this pandemic is a trial and one of the nice things that we might see is people getting more personal with The Lord.
I’ve seen a number of atheists at work that had to re-evaluate their goals, priorities and ideologies because of this pandemic.
God works in mysterious ways !

I shared this same thing about a year ago with a friend of mine and I think on the forum...
Wherever two or more are gathered in His name He will be there...
In backyards, front porches, living rooms, street corners...Church isn't going to be as it has been. No more will we have to "attend" church because we are the church!

@Heart2Soul It's was all about people and Spirit-led Scriptural activities from the start, in any case:

"And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers." (Acts 2.42)

Amen...and scripture says that as many were saved were added to the church....not as many who went to church got saved. That's the problem with churches today...they quit evangelizing.

There ya go!

There's a test.

When they start selling off their rich estates to distribute the money to the saints.

Much love!

I was praying today for a young man whom God chose to completely heal from a genetic disease. While praying, the Lord said to me that he is a "strong tower" I understand that his family are going through some very difficult times and that they are well known in the public arena.

As I prayed for him the song "Blessed Be the Name of the Lord" came to mind and I sang it out loud. The anointing on that song and toward that young man and his family was overwhelming. Thank you Jesus that he is saved and healed, his parents are saved, their family will be saved and that he is a strong tower for his family at this very critical time. Glory!
