Help discerning God...

I keep hearing from God that my time is short on this earth. Recently the inner love spirit has told me about a health problem that is going to happen to me. And I think God confirmed it appearing above me in white. But I'm not totally sure and don't have symptoms that totally match the illness he said is coming up. So I'm confused. I could use some advise please.

I've prayed that God will confirm if the spirit that appeared to me and told me was in fact God. But I haven't had a confirmation yet. But I just feel that it was God.

Just be careful. I have had ominous premonitions that turned out like this.

A) It was actually a demon or Satan speaking that and God's will was not for that bad thing to happen.

B) It was something that I came up with based on events that were occuring at the time.

C) God gave me the bad premonition and later changed his mind about it.

Thanks Wynona, you're right about that as I have found on numerous occasions myself. And yes I'm cautious too. He said I will know in a few days. So if it doesn't come to pass then I know it wasn't God.

I felt the holy spirit today and he said I still have years left to live and that I wouldn't die until I have served my purpose which was nice to hear.

Always remember; the first confirmation to look for is always from the Word of God! And His Word promises a long life, and that it will go well with you. The devil uses those so-called "death premonitions" to induce fear. Then once a person gives in to fear, the door opens for the devil to come in and kill them.

Only what Jesus said or what the Apostles taught is important.
Jesus would teach us worry not over the morrow , no man knows their last day upon the earth .
As for many years , take a peek at the signs of the times . I aint hearing many years . I am hearing only this ,
The coming of the LORD draws ever nigh .

First, call on His Name, by name, to insure that no one else answers. God (with a capital G) will suffice.

Then, if you have already given your life to God--tell Him again, that He hears it from you that not your will, but His be done. Give Him the same consideration of confirmation.

Finally, as did Gideon, put out a fleece (two if it makes you feel better), some means for him to specifically confirm...and tell Him why: That you want to hear from Him alone.

Then dismiss the idea, drop it, and have no fear. God will take it from there.

Oh, sorry I read that wrong, but I have seen God the Father. He spoke to me from the center of the universe and showed me his face. He taught me to worship his son Jesus. I know you won't believe me and that's OK, because it wasn't your commune but mine, but I must testify of the truth.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

We've had debates about this before and the scriptures clearly point out that people have seen God. Let me know if you want me to point that out in scripture.

But in the dead sea scrolls is the description of what I saw in the secrets of Enoch. He had a metal face and I could tell also a body of metal and commanded that power with his Holy Spirit to move like a man. Here is the verse from the Dead Sea Scrolls: 2 Enoch 22:1-4

And who am I to give an account of the incomprehensible being of the Lord, and of his face, so extremely strange and indescribable?… Who can give an account of his beautiful appearance, never changing and indescribable, and his great glory? Here's just one of the encounters with God. Now whether it is made manifest by Jesus is another question. But Jesus wasn't born of flesh yet:

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. -Matthew 6:34

If we'd heed that, we'll be happier and maybe a little more sane. (Or at least, a little less neurotic.) Note that I said "we", 'cuz (as a pastor of mine used to say), "preacher preaches what preacher also needs to hear". I do it too.

I believe God may tell us we are about to die, as I've recieved premonition that another would die and it was unavoidable. It was a one off dream and had double verification within the dream, but after that no more.

You say you keep hearing in your spirit you will die. This does not fit my expectations. God wouldn't nag you about it. He may tell his prophets what he is about to do, but not repeat himself if there is no edifying point to it.

It may be edifying if you were told, then you shared what you were told, then it came to pass. But the only purpose to repeatedly tell you would be to take away your peace.

I’m not sure what is going on here.

You are going to die. You’ll just never know the time or the hour. I am going myself die, and I don’t know the time or the hour.

It’s the first thing to accept and the last thing to really find a need to care about, in my opinion.

There are some people who kill them selves due to trauma in their lives…

Keep having the Will to live. Love God and love others… keep reading your bible to find comfort and hope.
