You're right: You and I are not the same.

I'm wondering why you chose to join a Christian forum when you are opposed to so much of what we believe.

It is sad @Cassandra for God is love. He loves us. He cares for us and provides for us and he protects us.

Threads like this though don't half make us realise how blessed we are to know God's love and have the support of brothers and sisters across the globe.

You just want God kept neatly in your pocket. You can't handle the truth.

why don’t you follow what Scripture says about divination and witchcraft?

I do...now.

Amen! God is love and he accepts anyone who repents. He is no respecter of persons. He will do for one person what he will do for another. He is not an elitists.

Well, Jesus would disagree with you.

I should point out that I do believe in a Heavenly Mother. Although I don't know who she is or what her roll is. I had a vision of two white spirits one Heavenly Father and the other Heavenly Mother and I was filled with the Holy Spirit for hours with great peace and love (Galatians 5:22-23). I'm still asking for clarity about the vision as to who Heavenly Mother is. I was told it might be the Virgin Mary.

God and Goddess--how Wiccan of you.

Wrangler we know that he is communing with demons only. Since we either go to paradise or prison after we leave this life. He's clearly been confused about who he's talking to. And that is part of Satan's plan.

I think you're a little touched, Angie Baby.

Howdy Miss Jane - we won't confuse Mormons with Edward's bunch.
(I was Anto9us at CF.com)

So, you're giving Mormon's a pass? Seriously? I couldn't care less about Mormons any more than I do Muslims, but you're all like "HE'S EVIL" and you're all accepting of Joseph Smith and the Mormons. Do you have any clue how MESSED UP you are?

I wish he we’re confused. In the post below, he has knowledge and seems to pride himself on his ability to communicate with demons.

Of course, I speak with demons. Don't you? Jesus did. What? Do you just let them work on you and ignore it?

Actually, I'm not. I'm a great student of all denominations. YOUR opposed to what I believe. There is actually no prohibition nor, and I say this with the reservation I might have to take it back, but near as I can tell there is no reason one can't be a mainstream Christian and a Veridican at the same time, like a Catholic Veridican or Baptist Veridican. I mean, we study a form of astrology called Veridican astrology, but a Veridican doesn't HAVE to practice it. We believe we become Christ, a Baptist believes they become "like" Christ, that's a pretty thin hair of difference. We read the Bible and take it under advisement--we just believe the Gospels are what we need to follow. I might have a problem academically with the Apostles, but you won't find that anywhere in our Articles of Faith.

Yeah, actually...I think one could be a Veridican and a MS Christian at the same time. I don't see any metaphysical problem with that. The Baptists might; the Catholics might, but not me or my Church. So...you are opposed to me, not me to you.

God is NOT in my pocket or anybody else's pocket. The truth to me is in the scriptures you choose to ignore. I stand on the Rock who is Jesus. I will not be shaken.
Psalm 18:2
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Hi @Edward Gordon. You have come to the right forum so let's start as we mean to go on....welcome to CyB. :)

Thanks, Angelina. Nice to meet you.

You would be a first to ask me what I think. We were not taught by the same spirit, as I was lead to believe the orthodox Christian beliefs are true. That the full canon of scripture are truly God's inspired words. My negative opinions towards people, even of other religions, were softened.

The differences appear to be that you had a grounding in the occult, where I did not and maintained a fear of those things.

Fair enough.

I think if you have talent, go for it. All great truths are told through fiction. It’s just like the Gospels: All Jesus said was that he was the truth. He didn’t say he was going to deliver that truth to you mind and soul through a factual history lesson. All great truth is told through fiction.

I do agree that Christians are largely messed up. But then, so are you if you seek to become one with God and answer insult for insult. You and they both are messed up.
Your own Jesus, who you seek to become one with, said, also in Mathew, “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

So if you’re to turn your cheek at a physical slap rather than returning it, what should you do as regards a verbal insult, which is more mild…?

And the one you seek to become one with also said this in Mathew:
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

It is doubtful you will become one with someone you don’t even listen to and act nothing like. So the messed up is on both sides there brother.

And why have you said that you have renounced tarrot?

And this is from your website:

So, what does that mean to you? Really nothing. We always intended to charge for the seminary education. We already sell our books through Amazon, and we already charge less for services (like tarot, astrology, and medium readings) than we would expect a person to donate for them.

That is divination clearly.

Yes, and if he knew scripture he would know that it is forbidden.

Deuteronomy 18:10
Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,
@Pearl Yes, and it's so wholesome to receive meekly the Scriptures and not engage in that unhealthy and dangerous stuff...
