The Archbishop of Canterbury is another phony. He should have consulted with Catholic Archbishop Vigano before opening his mouth. How did England fall so low?
My thoughts exactly, and the Queen of England who is the Supreme Governor of the Church of England also accepts homosexuality as does the church being she is the supreme leader.

Sir. Not once did I criticize you for getting jabbed. I and my wife have received 2 doses without any ill effects whatsoever. My concern is not with you. It's with a government that flat out lies to the public, repeatedly and without shame, as to the possible harmful effects: the motive for mandating the jab (protecting your family and friends... Nonsense): and the scurrilous way by which they have progressed from swearing it was always voluntary, to inducing businesses and corporations to fire you if you don't get it. That was the gist of my post and was why I believe all people, including yourself, should be very concerned.
I was not arguing whether covid is real or even serious. My post was about the means and methods by which government has gone about this business.
They have lied.
They have manipulated society into a state of unreasonable fear.
They have forbidden known remedies.
They have trashed businesses and individuals of their livelihood.
They have introduced legislation that will never be rescinded that directly impact societies freedoms.
Sorry I misunderstood you. So many antivaccers here I lost track. I thought you were taking another Jab at me..

I agree with you 100% about the government crap. I am not sure my country will survive much longer as it is. We can;t come together on anything, unless there is a major catastrophe. And even in those anymore. We look to the other side with suspicion.

We all need to pray for our country our world..

Me personally I think we need to go back to normal. Before its too late

And yet natural immunity -- which is indeed real immunity -- was either ignored, or minimized, or dismissed altogether. Does that remind you of one of Aesop's Fables?
The lesson from the Wolf and the Lamb is apropos. "The tyrant can always find an excuse for his tyranny.
Just FYI,

Many people who got Covid the second time got it worse.

Natural immunity is great, but it does not take into account the variations. Thats how viruses work. It mutates.

I am not getting the booster shot because I just had covid positive test (although I had minimal symptoms) and I think my immunity will last awhile. But eventually. No one knows where this thing will go next.

Thanks Rita.

Yes, I never felt to dehydrated in my life! But I had to keep getting those fluids in (water/Gatorade).

For a few moments my faith really got tested. But thank God my faith hasn’t faltered.

Reading the Holy Bible and knowing them well is crucial for all Christian’s in times of great trials. I lived through it these past few weeks.

I was really worried and scared at times.

But praise God I feel so much better now!
So thankful brother. You scared us, especially when you went dark (no response) You had some prayer warriors praying for you!!

That wasn’t why I was mad Cristo, it was because I felt he was being hypercritical, encouraging us to care and think of others, while many of his cabinet and him were acting selfish and breaking rules because they were governed by their own needs. Also using Jesus and his ministry ,in my opinion, for the wrong reasons.
In context the home have changed some things today and one family member is allowed to visit each resident.
I must admit I have never really found out myself what ‘ taking the lords name in vain ‘ actually means because everyone has different views. I guess I have often gone with ‘ oh my God ‘ as an example….
You could start a thread and see what others think.
Sorry it’s been a long day xxx
Rita

It would surely be a good thread, I think we are all confused on that. Even if using it as a curse word is not what it means, I don't think we should be doing that anyhow. Lot's of other things Christians say it their place like "Cheese and Crackers", "Criminy Sakes" but, still they are intoning His name in those sayings too. I suppose it's in the attitude of the person saying the words?

Huh, this I did not know, thought they would have been much more conservative here.
I take it the C.O.E. is NOT scripturally sound, or like so many other church's...have left their first love in order to be accepting of sin.

That is why boosters mean nothing. Ivermectin should not have been sabotaged by the powers that be.
They need to use everything they can.

I know people who took ivermectin and it made them worse. And others it did nothing. And others where it helped.

Crazy huh? Kind of like a U.S. president is
"Commander in Chief" over all branch's of the military, even if he NEVER served or went to war.
Yeah, a female Pope in England :D

I’m having a hard time believing it. I will have to read it with my own eyes to believe it.

The Church of England is a very mixed bag, it started The alpha course many years ago which many denominations now use to introduce people to scripture and Jesus. In some Anglican churches ( C of E ) they wear robes and are like orthodox churches, However there are many truly born again believers within the many who are Christian by name only.
Although the Queen is head of the Church I am not sure she has much to do with the running of it, she is more a figure head.

From Quora, a couple years ago...

"The Queen of England is the head of the British Anglican church, is she also the head of other nation's Anglican or Episcopal churches as well?

No, she is not. Actually she is Supreme Governor of the Church of England. Most Churches in the Anglican Communion have a primate. They bear different titles often Archbishop. In the US, the Episcopal Church is headed by the Presiding Bishop who is elected for a nine year term. (Actually, a 3-year term, but can be reelected twice.)

The current Presiding Bishop is Michael Curry."
