The salvation journey is a sort of process. It starts with the life, work and sacrifice Christ did while on earth, This is Grace. His work on Calvary cannot be imitated, added onto, or made better in any way.
God's grace is conditional. Therefore one must meet the conditions God has placed upon His free gift of grace in order to receive grace. Meeting the conditions is not adding to, altering grace in anyway nor does it merit grace. Titus 2:11 if grace were completely unconditional then all men universally would be saved. Yet all will not be saved for all will not comply to God's conditions.
God has already done His part in extending grace to men by sending Christ to die on the cross. So the ball is now in man's court to obey God's condition to receive grace. So receiving grace is a process done thru man's obedience and that process is life long.
It is the Holy Spirit who reveals Jesus to us in the first place and shows us what he has done to atone for our sin. Our spiritual eyes are opened to the truth, we come out of the darkness and see the light and are born again of the Spirit, then through Jesus we gradually get to know the love and character of God the Father. At the start of the salvation journey, we all start without the Spirit of Christ sealed in us yet.
agree or disagree?

OP: Salvation journey?
Precious friend, will your honest discussion also include
God's Three Tenses Of HIS ETERNAL Salvation?:
"...God Which Raiseth the dead: Who Delivered us from so great a
death, and Doth Deliver: in Whom we trust that We Will Yet Deliver us;"
(2 Corinthians 1:9-10)
We are all sinners until we are born again and then we become saints. But being a sinner is more than doing wrong things it is that we are born with that separation from God that can only be bridged by the blood of the Lamb - Jesus. Were not there yet pearl. Just trying to establish the condition we are in once we are born into this world.
Do you agree with post 24?

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
I don't know what you're asking. Obviously we all have to be born into the world so I agree. If your describing Grace through Faith i agree.
But this thread is about looking at what specifically must happen in-between being a sinner and a saint.
You didn't say whether you agreed with post 24, the very start of that process.
I don't know what you're asking. Obviously we all have to be born into the world so I agree.
What I'm asking is in post 24. Basically, it's that simple, we are not saved coming out of the womb.
I'll wait to let some others chime in before I go to the next step of the salvation process. Hopefully we can get a few others that agree to move ahead with this discussion.
Ok pearl no worries. If you don't understand, you probably shouldn't agree with the information I put forth.Of course we aren't, who ever said we were? We can't be saved until we are old enough to understand our sin and the need to be forgiven and turn to Jesus.
I still don't understand what you're getting at.

grace is not conditional. if it was, it is not grace.God's grace is conditional.
once again,2) As the result of being born into this world, we are under Grace in this respect. Christ bought the entire field to get the treasure out out it. As the result of being born into this world, we are part of this field. At this beginning stage, we "do not" have the Spirit of Christ sealed into us yet sowe are none of His at this beginning state of being. At this early stage, being under Grace simply means we are under the Judgment of Jesus Christ and we can do nothing to change that.
Do you agree? Or would you like to elaborate?

Well you haven't explained it very well then.Ok pearl no worries. If you don't understand, you probably shouldn't agree with the information I put forth.
Then all men universally would unconditionally be saved, Titus 2:11.grace is not conditional. if it was, it is not grace.
grace is freely given
