what I see is a ratcheting up of the language....slipping in the words 'demands' and 'must'

That's the style of the RCC system......coming in as a 'lamb', yet as they can get away with it (on a global scale), the roaring of a lion is present ......using whatever coercion works.

This is being done under the banner of 'unity'. It becomes more evident to all who watch.

show me how I’m wrong please!

What? you don't see the operative principle of the doctrines peddled by the RCC?.....the principles of domination even in your own explanations?

Hello quietthinker,

You have that backwards. Its the principle of service!

Indeed, generation after generation men and women offer their entire lives to serve Christ and His Church

And we honour them for it!

Christ is risen!
Alleluia!

We should walk like the prophets of old hearing only God and saying only what he tells us.

When we throw in the denominal factor, that is who we are proclaiming we are!

I am blood bought and covered by his blood. I have been adopted into the family and grafted into the vine making me a daughter of God.

He is whom I owe my deepest love, obedience and gratitude to, not to any man nor affiliation nor religious organization !

Correct since its unbiblical and Jesus is our Lord, Master, Savior, God not mary. We worship and Glorify the Lord.

The funny thing for the mary worshipers is she is nowhere mentioned in heaven with Jesus and the Father in heaven in the book of Revelation.

who said anything about worship?

bearing false witness is against the commandments

obey scripture!

Good enough for Angels!
Good enough for the Bible!
Good enough for me!

Hail Mary! Full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women,
Lk 1:28 blessed is the fruit of thy womb, (Jesus) Lk 1:42 Holy Mary, mother of God, Lk 1:43 pray for us sinners, now,
rev 5:8 and at the hour of our death, Matt 24:13 amen!

It is really God who greeting Mary with the “Hail Mary”!
Lk 1:26 & Lk 1:45

I want to address this:

So the Law Covenant has been fulfilled and cancelled by Jesus and the New Covenant will be in operation during the Millennial age, but what of the interim? Is there any covenant in operation, and is there any law connected with it?

"Law Covenant" is a fabricated term. It is an idea that makes no sense. You use the term "fulfilled" as the legal authority to cancel the Law. What is the distinction between cancelling and destroying? Jesus said He came to NOT destroy the Law. But, you claim He cancelled it. What does that mean? "Fulfill" means "fill to overflowing." It does NOT mean, "nullify." Jesus filled up the meaning of the feasts of Leviticus 23. The new covenant is simply the old one renewed. So, if we are not in the new one, we are still in the old one.

the new covenant new kingdom of God the new Israel began at the death of the savior on the cross heb 7:
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

You do realize that has literally nothing to do with what we're discussing, right?

Read the 15 verses before what you cited.

"Law Covenant" is a fabricated term. It is an idea that makes no sense.
Galations 3:16-19 (ASV):
(16) Now to Abraham were the promises spoken, and to his seed. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
(17) Now this I say: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God, the law, which came four hundred and thirty years after, doth not disannul, so as to make the promise of none effect.
(18) For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise: but God hath granted it to Abraham by promise.
(19) What then is the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise hath been made; and it was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.

You use the term "fulfilled" as the legal authority to cancel the Law. What is the distinction between cancelling and destroying? Jesus said He came to NOT destroy the Law. But, you claim He cancelled it. What does that mean?
Hebrews 8:13 (WEB):
(13) In that he says, “A new covenant”, he has made the first old. But that which is becoming old and grows aged is near to vanishing away.

This says, "The covenant came first. The Law came 430 years later. The Law coming 430 years later does not make the promise in the covenant void." Both the words, "law" and "covenant" appear in this verse. but that does not mean there is a "Law Covenant." The two things are separated by 430 years.

Law covenant is a fabricated term.

Okay, if you don't like the term "Law Covenant" then instead use the term "Mosaic Covenant" or "Sinaitic Covenant", or "Sinaitic Law Covenant" as I referred to it as in my original post. From Wikipedia:

The Mosaic covenant (named after Moses), also known as the Sinaitic covenant (named after the biblical Mount Sinai), refers to a biblical covenant between God and the biblical Israelites, including their proselytes. The Mosaic covenant is not limited to the ten commandments nor to merely the event when they were given. The covenant includes rather the entirety of laws that Moses delivered from God and are scattered within the five books of the Torah. The Jews call such laws the "de'oraita laws".

Galations 3:17 (WEB):
(17) Now I say this: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God in Christ, the law, which came four hundred thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.

So this is saying that the Law Covenant (or Mosaic Covenant) came 430 years after the covenant which God confirmed to Abraham (by an oath), and that the law (covenant) doesn't annul the first covenant, or promise, that God made to Abraham.
Law covenant is a fabricated term.
The Trinity is a fabricated term - do you believe in that? ;)

Galations 3:17 (WEB):
(17) Now I say this: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God in Christ, the law, which came four hundred thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.

A promise is made by YHVH to Avraham. The promise is YHVH's obligation to the contract. Abraham's obligation is that he moved to Canaan and circumcised all the men in his group. Avraham believed YHVH and steadfastly acted on what YHVH told him. That is what faith is. Through the course of their relationship other instructions are revealed. Abraham is promised that his descendants will own the land, and that all the world be blessed through him. That is why this is referred to as "the covenant of promise."

Israel ended up in Egypt. Moses led them out. A contract was made between YHVH and the people of Israel, and anyone else who wants to join. That contract is "if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation." This is the agreement put forth to Israel. "Obey my voice. Keep my covenant." Obey my voice is "obey my law." Keep my covenant is "obey ONLY my laws." Israel agrees to the terms.

This covenant is everlasting. That means it will not end. It will never be replaced. It can be renewed. It cannot be replaced. If YHVH can replace any covenant at will, then he can't be trusted. He would be "going back on his word." The covenant he made would NOT be everlasting. Using terms like Mosaic or Sinaitic are reasonable. But, the term "Law Covenant" serves one purpose. That is why it was coined. Its use sets up the idea that "new replaced old," therefore the covenant based on the Law has been replaced. That is not true.

Every month there is a new moon. The old moon is not replaced. The old moon is refreshed. The old covenant was not replaced. The old covenant was refreshed. It was refreshed in that the promise of a Redeemer was realized. This Redeemer paid our debt to the Law. This removes the curse. That is why it is a better covenant with better promises. Now, a person can seek the righteousness of YHVH, which is obedience to his Commandments, without any concern for screwing it up. The reason a person obeys the Law is because it identifies his Master, and obedience is how YHVH defines loving him. A person either has the desire to love his God through obedience to his Law, or they don't. People claiming to be led by the Spirit into every manner of idolatry is nothing more than mass delusion. The Spirit of YHVH is not EVER going to lead people to put up Christmas trees or hide Easter eggs. Those things are an abomination.

The Law YHVH wants his people to obey, through which he will bless his people, did not come until 430 years after the promise was made to Abram. That delay in its arrival does not make the promise void. The Law is the means through which YHVH fulfills his promise. It is through the Law that the Messiah can be identified and the people can be blessed. It the means by which they are a holy nation.

Observing YHVH's Law, not man-made laws, is what separates his people from the world. The world does Sunday, Christmas and Easter. Jesus told His followers to not love the world.

This covenant is everlasting. That means it will not end. It will never be replaced. It can be renewed. It cannot be replaced.
However, it was conditional on the Israelites keeping their side of the covenant - Exodus 19:5-6 (WEB):

(5) Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice, and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine;
(6) and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.”

Unfortunately the Israelites didn't obey and keep God's covenant. That's why God selected just one tribe to be the priests rather than all of the people being priests.

But, the term "Law Covenant" serves one purpose. That is why it was coined. Its use sets up the idea that "new replaced old," therefore the covenant based on the Law has been replaced. That is not true.
Agreed, the Law has not been abolished.

Galations 3:19
(19) Then why is there the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring [Jesus] should come to whom the promise has been made.
Romans 7:7
(7) ... I wouldn’t have known sin, except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting, unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
Galations 3:24-26
(24) So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
(25) But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
(26) For you are all children of God, through faith in Christ Jesus.

This Redeemer paid our debt to the Law. This removes the curse.
It's still in the process of being removed, but the curse hasn't been removed yet. Most of mankind are still under the curse. 1 Corinthians 15:22-26 (WEB):

(22) For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
(23) But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ’s, at his coming.
(24) Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God, even the Father; when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.
(25) For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
(26) The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

The Law is the means through which YHVH fulfills his promise. It is through the Law that the Messiah can be identified and the people can be blessed.
It was through total obedience to the Law that Jesus was shown to be an acceptable substitute for Adam, so that Jesus could pay the redemption price of the sacrifice of his life in order to buy back Adam's right to life, and therefore also all of Adam's descendants. It's though Jesus (not the Law) that YHVH fulfills His promise.

  • Jesus arose from the dead on Sunday.
  • Christmas celebrates our Savior's birth - not Santa Claus.
  • Easter celebrates his resurrection - not the Easter bunny.

Jesus rose on Saturday. When the women arrived at the tomb it was still dark. Jesus was already gone.

Christmas falls on the day celebrated as the re-birth of Tammuz. Erecting an evergreen tree and decorating with balls is a tribute to the sexual prowess of Tammuz.

Easter falls on the day celebrated as the death of Tammuz by a wild boar. That is why people eat ham on Easter.

It is pagan holidays rebranded with Jesus. That is an abomination.

The Romans told a story and you refuse to believe they could be wrong. Pagans from 2,000 years ago hijacked Christianity and blended it with the worship of Sol Invictus. The priests of Sol Invictus were the new leaders of Christianity overnight. Your entire "tree saga" is just reverse engineering to try and make it fit.

The tree of life is the sticks on which the Torah is rolled.

It doesn't matter what you think it is. It only matters what YHVH says about it.

Deuteronomy 12:29-32
When the Lord thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land;
Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods;
for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Do not do what the pagans do to honor their gods and do it as unto YHVH. That is an abomination.

Do NOT add to, or subtract from, the shadows of Messiah given to us in the feasts of YHVH.
