What if you lose your faith?

WE have to EARN salvation because scripture says WE do:

He who endures to the end will be saved....I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
baptism now saves you..... Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved....faith without works is dead. etc etc

Those passages do not negate what He did for us. It does not have to be one or the other. It can be both.....

Jesus told us WHY he died on the cross for us.......John 15:13!

So, that is Christ rejection, pretending to be faith in Christ.
Its really lost Faith in Christ, that has become "faith in Self"

Paul says "you no longer believe the Truth" you are "Bewitched"..."in the Flesh".

Let me see if I understand your theory. You say if we DON'T continue in Christ then woe be unto us! Continues WHAT? That's a very vague statement. What does "continue in Christ" mean?

Can you give me 5 examples of how I would "continue in Christ" so I don't loose my salvation?

Be looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of GOD , lest any root of bitterness springs up
and thereby many be defiled .
yall even try and change what paul wrote to the romans and what peter wrote to the church .
My advice remains the same , CONTINUE IN CHRIST TO THE END , or prepare to wail on HIS day .
Heed the Spirit and not the flesh . And who YE OBEY IS whose you are .

This pretty much sums up where I'm at with it. OSAS is a place that the believer matures to. Not all believers are there. Some believers would rather burn at the stake than renounce Christ. Others are ready to throw in the towel after a bad day at work.

Isn't this the argument that those that are there are the elect.

Those who fell away never had eternal life - the idea of 'temporary eternal life' is a contradiction.

See , that is my point . Due to the love of an acroynm they try and make it seem as though somehow
what JOHN taught was to the elect , while what paul taught was not . YET BOTH JOHN , PAUL , Jude , james , peter
WERE WRITING TO THE CHURCH , WHICH IS THE ELECT OF GOD .
Many will die and omit scripture for the sake of an acroynm . While i simply say , HEED ALL THE LETTERS
they are for our own good . You can easily see how the teachings of men have taught some to omit certain parts of scrips .
WHICH is bad news . WE should have embraced it all .
I mean they claim GOD put together the scriptures , YET THEN turn around and say certain parts of said scriptures DONT APPLY TO US .
NOW how on earth WOULD THAT make any sense . GOD knew what he was doing when HE had ALL , not some or most
BUT ALL those letters put together in canon . CAUSE IT ALL APPLIES TO US .

Learn the JESUS of said bible . HE is the one who said a hearer only DECIEVES THEMSELVES .
We should take every single reminder JESUs taught as well as those apostels taught .
SERIOUSLY .
Continue in HIM . Be hearers and doers of The word . And beware of sin , FOR as paul once said , SIN can harden a heart indeed .
We should follow and keep that pattern . ITS THE ONLY pattern that works . REPENT if one is in error
confess ye your faults and pray that ye may be healed . FOR we are made partakers of Christ , IF , That does say IF
We must continue to believe in HIM . ANother thing most folks dont realize is IF ONE DENYS HIM HE WILL DENY THEM .
They dont realize that if we disobey HIM we have denied HIM . Thus error must be corrected and fast .
FOR even paul wrote , IF a man provides not , specially for those of his own household , HE HAS DENIED THE FAITH
and is worse than an infidel . WE DENY HIM , EVEN IF WE LIP HIS NAME , IF WE WALK IN DARKNESS and do not obey HIM .
FOR WHO WE OBEY IS WHOSE WE ARE . that is a solid fact that NO MAN is gonna convince me of otherwise .
I think folks forget what the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT TRULY IS .
THEY know and can quoate the fruits of the spirit . BUT know not what the actual FRUIT IS .
SEE many preach love , preach joy and etc , AND YET even the love they preach denies GOD .
SO allow this flea of a dog this small reminder . THE FRUIT of the SPIRIT PROVES SOMETHING .
AND YE SHALL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS .
SO allow me to quoate it . FOR THE FRUIT of the SPIRIT is in all goodness , righteousness and truth
PROVING what is acceptable , TO GOD . AND SIN AINT . EXACTLY . IF WE HAD THE SPIRIT

WE would love and embrace the truth the apostels left us as well in that bible .

Being Born again, proves you are BECOME a Son of God.....= you have been given God's Grace.
You can't stop being born again.
You can't stop being a Son of God, and that is why there is no verse in a Greek Text or BIBLE, that says..>"you can stop being a Son of God".
You can't, as you didnt cause it to happen.
God did., and God said that this that He has started in you, = HE WILL FINISH.... not you. Philippians 1:6

This is why Jesus said of the born again. "you shall never Perish".
This is why Christ said that"nothing and noone can take the born again out of his Hand"... and that INCLUDES YOU, if you are born again.

The warnings, most of them, are for the unbelievers.

God does not "warn" a Son of God, that they can stop being a : Son of God.
No verse does this, no scripture says this.
Why?
Because once you are born again, you are always born again.

Listen..

Say a mother has 2 sons.
You and a brother.
You, try to be good, and you help your mother, and you are always there for her.
YET..
Your Brother, was dealing drugs when he was 14, was an alcoholic at 15, and has fornicated and produced 13 "bastards", and is a child molester.
He never married any of the women.
He has never been to church.
He never talks to him mother for over 20 yrs.

Now, which one of these SONS, is not a son, anymore?

Which of these SONS, is not your mother's SON, anymore?

A.) They are both her sons.......but one is a devil........but, still a son.......WHY? Because she BIRTHED HIM, and so he can't change this by being a horrible person.
=. Hes always her son, as his behavior has no effect on his : BIRTH.

Now... Lets say you have 2 Believers..born again....SONS......of God.

One is Faithful.
One is not.
One is loving
One is hateful.

Now which of these SONS of GOD, born again ,are no longer A Son Of God?

A.) Both are always Son's of God.. Why? Because God has : BIRTHED THEM BOTH.

I see this happening - is this not expected ???

Sure we must be a light as the darkness increases, and we are not to be afraid of the dark.

I often say we should concentrate on what Jesus wants us to do in the world rather than worry about what we think Satan might be doing. Some folks lose their edge by losing focus on Jesus and His glorious plans for us.

However, a good word, and it should be a call to all the more press into Him.
