It always amazes me when I see people flocking like this and how they get by in such a crowd. They do that for Jesus too in different holy events from my understanding. I like the fact that Jesus is great to many. He is a hero to me.

The queens events are inspiring also.
It's very well organised. Once the procession has passed the police form a cordon across the road and the people fall in behind them. And then another cordon forms behind that and so on so the crowd can't just rush down.

And Jesus is my hero too.

I haven’t seen much this time round as I have been working, the care home is all decorated though and different events for the residents are taking place.
@amadeus I remember that change over to decimalisation, I was in secondary school and was so nervous about using the new money on the bus.

It should be on iPlayer. What's touched me the most is people including John Sentamu talking about her deep faith and how she accepts everybody from all faiths.

I was a student in West Berlin at the time and used my Christmas holiday break to travel by train to London. I really did not see much as I had a severe case of bronchitis from riding on an unheated train... but I did manage to get a few pictures before having to return to Germany.

My one and only trip to England and half of the time I was sick in bed. It was years before my lungs really got past the worst of the damage instigated by that train trip.

Did Black Sabbath or Ozzy Osbourne play at the Queen’s Jubilee?

Watching the Jubilee party from outside Buckingham Palace, it’s brilliant xx
I wasn't going to watch it but you changed my mind @Rita. It was awesome; the staging, the light ing and the special effects. Never seen before and perhaps never again on such a scale.

If that's true why don't Popes like girls but the Church of England does?..:)

Because he knows the people would not accept it. While legally connected, the people, so long as they have freedom to voice their opinions, have great influence. It isn't the middle ages where the Pope reigned supreme.
All I can say Pearl is long live the queen. Seriously. When she goes Charles has a mind to abandon the church leaving it to it's own devices. Then 'Mary's Dowry' will revert into the hands of catholicism. Charles' partner will be pleased.
Elizabeth is a lovely lady. She deserves all the loyalty and kudos she gets. She is however trapped in an occult system of knights and orders and hierarchal subordination that will one day soon bring disaster upon the British people. I'm passionate about reality. But sorry about hijacking the thread. Enough said.

I'm personally not a fan of the royal family it's just another branch of aristocracy and corruption.
The queens husband and sons believe in all kinds of ungodly and abominable things which are contrary to Christian values and are heavily connected to Satan's plans through the WEF and such

She is a titular head... In name only. The real head of the church of England lives in Rome. Blame him.

Didn't the church of England split from the RCC with Henry the 8th?
I could be wrong but i thought it did. Henry making himself head of the church England.
They're just as corrupt as the RCC

England, both church and state, had been owned and run from Rome for 1000 years.View attachment 23105View attachment 23107View attachment 23109View attachment 23110

The above charter has never been rescinded.

Then what was the whole Henry the 8th thing about then?
I'm reading now that the church of England did indeed split from the RCC in 1534

Let's ask some Brits...
@Pearl @Rita
Is the church of England part of the RCC?
And please tell us about Henry the 8th

I am not aware that the Church of England is linked to Rome or the RCC.
I have just looked for info and the English church renounced papal authority in 1534 when Henry the 8th failed to secure a papal annulment of his marriage. , there was a brief restoration of the authority under Queen Mary. From then it all seems a bit confusing, different battles between Roman Catholics and Protestants.
The British Monarch is the supreme governor and the Archbishop of Canterbury is the most senior cleric.
The general Synod of the Church of England is the legislative body for the church and comprises bishops, other clergy, and laity. It’s measure must be approved by parliament. So no currant authority comes from the Pope or Rome.

This is part of her testimony , regardless of what goes on within her family or country, she personally has chosen to follow Christ. She has very little power to change what her children do, what the authorities within the church do or what goes on within the U.K. However over the 70years I have never been aware of any evidence that she herself , as a person of faith, has actually not honoured what she has said here.
None of us know what she has prayed about, battled with spiritual within the situations within her family and what goes on around her within this country.

I would just raise how you worded things ‘ The Queens husband and sons ‘……not the Queen herself.
I would hope that God would not hold me to account for what my adult children choose to believe or do , and equally I would hope that others would not judge my own personally journey of faith for things they do or think.
She also sees the good in people rather than judge them for leading a different life to her own, and she rewards them for what they give to others.
I find it sad that a few here are choosing to judge her in the way they have. I am not a great Royalist, and I haven’t got a lot of time for most of them, but the Queen I do actually respect.

What can I say. Im just not big on authoritarian figures. You know Australia still pays heaps of money to the royals. Thats money taxed from us... Me... Why should they but it's a total scam. Every other country gave back their colonies apart from England. They're nothing but greedy pieces of scum to me

The Queen has been behind it all and everything her husband and sons are guilty of she is guilty of otherwise she would confess to all of it but instead she keeps her wrinkly lips closed on such topics

Yes, I am not really into most of it myself, so I understand. My post was also linked to other comments made by others on this thread.
I have no idea why I feel differently towards the Queen as opposed to other Royals or the whole realm of the monarchy. I do see her differently to the others. I don’t like the establishment of the Royals and once she is no longer around it will be interesting to see where it all goes.
