I developed iritable bowel and bladder syndrome a couple of years ago and it sometimes feels like my guts are on fire and I occasionally pee blood, so I used my God-given commonsense to change what I ate and drank and I've at least got it under control.
On days when it's really bad I ask God to relieve the pain but always add "Your will be done", they're the words Jesus used in Gethsemane (below) when he asked God to remove the bitter cup of crucifixion-

I've found some great relief for some of my things by eating the right foods. Figs have been great for my nerve pain, and keep my hair from falling out. Actually, God has used "new dietary needs" to guide me into a very healthy diet, not at all like I used to eat.

I'm glad you've got that under control, I hate things like that!

Much love!

Its ok to have a doc, and its ok to take meds.
God provides both.

I know someone right now, who needs eye surgery, and cant drive, can't read, and wont go and have this 15 min, simple operation, so that she can SEE.
People are having to take care of her needs, while she "waits on the Lord'.
So, is that Faith, or is that Stupidity?

Paul had "Luke the beloved PHYSICIAN" with him... a lot.

Paul didnt tell Timothy to pray the prayer of faith for his stomach issue.
He told him to have some wine.

There is such a thing as a "balanced perspective", and if you read my previous post, i dont lean toward Docs, or Meds..... and i am all for the believer looking forward to their departure day, but, while you are here, take advantage of what is available that can solve a health crisis, if you run into one.

I never said it was NOT okay to have a Doctor or take drugs.
I said what applies to me.
The woman with an eye issue, is making her choices.
People who are caring for her...
1) are making their choices to care for her.
2) or are being paid by the government to care for her, “right after “they” steal the money under color of law, from people “they” qualify “they” can steal from”. <—- corrupt, wrong, wicked.

Whatever....1, or 2.
That woman has zero reason to agree to a surgery that would benefit her, to take care of herself.
She is taking full advantage of someone else caring for her.
YOU want her to take advantage, of the surgery, SO SHE CAN take care of herself.
SHE is content taking advantage of others taking care OF her.
SHE has chosen to be a BURDEN, rather than an ASSET.
And her caretakers ENABLE her to BE a BURDEN.

All about choices.

I was not implying that you were teaching Have Faith, avoid Docs and Meds.

The person who is the "eye issue", is going to have to do it.
As the main person who is helping, can't always be around.
Its a sad situation, not a really unique one.....when people are continually enabled to make bad choices, or they are enabled to keep doing what they would change, if not for the help.....

Good to consider foods not so irritating.
But also infections of course, stress levels can trigger, as well as aging muscles that become more flab than muscle. There are simple exercises to strengthen pelvic region muscles. Conditioning muscles to be taut rather than flab causing pressure, causing pain and discomfort.
Just suggesting.

""Figs are rich in vitamins C and E, which fight hair loss. Vitamin K helps to maintain healthy hair and magnesium plays an important role in slowing down and even stopping hair loss. The high amount of calcium in figs contributes to the formation of collagen, which is a major component in hair growth.""

As well the trace mineral “tin”, for hair and nails health. Trace being the key word, that our body does not require much. There is a product called BIOTIN, that claims to strengthen the hair and nails.

Figs have copper in them, have good health benefits, help iron to do its job, as well copper another trace mineral, good for hair and eye health.

Definitely.

If Bro Marks is having a thinning issue, then that is often related to Testosterone being turned into DHT. (androgen)
All the "topical" grow your hair back, block DHT, and that stops the thinning that is the hair loss.
There are some herbs that can block it.

And yes Biotin does cause strengthening of hair and nails.
Absolutely.
Im a professional musician, including guitar, and i play finger style and i take Biotin, as it and Vitamin A, both strengthen nails, which you need for finger-style guitar.

I try to eat 5-6 a day. I'm sold on them!

It was when I was very ill, not able to eat, and not able to digest, wasting away, and I came out of my fog enough one day to realize, if I don't get out of this bed and eat something I'm going to die here! So I asked God, what can I even eat? And He said, "Eat yogurt. And eat figs." I'd never had a fig in my life! Now I love eating figs!

Much love!

Don’t forget something green daily. ;)
We are bodily out of the earth, and that which is in the earth, water, minerals, nutrients, works in unison to sustain the health of our bodies.
And the more local and fresh, the more beneficial.
Remember, “heal our land”? That hangs on going from drought, crop failure, for disobedience, to lush green thriving foods, blessings. Thunders, as in Gods voice, Lightening strikes greens up the land, freshens the air. God at work. Do we hear? Do we notice? Do we thank Him?
I notice grocery stores having two aisles of processed condiments, to make foreign trucked dead food “taste” palatable. Taste satisfied, but mineral and nutrient depleted, and people eat more and more, because hunger and need for minerals and nutrients not satisfied= Fat America.
Simple, basic, local, putting into the body more beneficial to teach children, rather than deciding what gender they should be.

Society flourishes on making the simple complex.
Body health is simple. Put in the body what is good. Avoid what not good...physically and spiritually.
Complete opposite of what society teaches. And difference between:
IN the world and OF the world.

Not surprised you were God blessed to point you toward figs.
It was a physical and spiritual message IMO.

Glory to God,
Taken

If somebody wants to die they'll find a way to kill themself anyway; there was a shocking case where an elderly lady jumped from the top of a multi-storey car park, hardly a dignified end.
Other people stand in front of fast trains or shoot themselves or jump off bridges or overdose on something etc.
Not many people are aware that there are two types of euthanasia....passive and active.
For the terminally ill who have no quality of life and are enduring much physical and emotional suffering, there is a way to end life without breaking either God's law or man's.

Those who are existing on pain meds and see no point in continuing to die an inch at a time, passive euthanasia is an option. It simply means to withdraw all artificial means of life support and allowing nature to take its course. God does not want us to suffer unnecessarily, so why prolong a life that is not worth living?

My husband chose this option and his doctor supported him and provided him with pain relief but nothing else. It was his decision to stop eating and drinking, and his body simply shut down and he lapsed into unconsciousness and died peacefully with all his family with him. It was a blessed relief for him.....but it was also his choice....not ours.

I believe that more attention needs to be drawn to this option......if we can be prosecuted for not putting a suffering animal to "sleep" what is accomplished by putting a loved one through unnecessary suffering if we have the means to end it peacefully....and legally?

And they'll pay for that sin. I am completely against Euthanasia in any form, God decides when we die not us.

As I mentioned earlier, the actor Brian Rix was opposed to euthanasia until he became seriously ill, then quickly changed his mind.

I am completely opposed to Euthanasia in any form. I see it as playing God. God is the one who determines how long we live. That isn't our place.
Do you really believe that God has anything to do with the way people die? If he does then he is a cruel fiend.
Why would he make children and adults suffer an awful death with cancer? Or to be killed violently in a war, a criminal act of murder, or a car accident? Seriously? Where do you see God in death?

If you have ever sat beside a loved one who was dying, you would move heaven and earth to relieve their suffering......many have, despite the outcome.
There comes a time when the pain meds don't work anymore. If you would put an animal out of its misery, why not more so a human? :(

Are there any Bible verses on the subject?

I don't think there are bible verses specifically on euthanasia and its difficult question that your asking.
Im still thinking it through.
Say we have someone who is only alive because of a life support machine, is it immoral to pull the plug?
If a person is terminally ill and is in extreme pain, is it ok to help them on there way?
Tough questions indeed, lets see what others have said

Having committed suicide, and not dying, I've come to conclude that God is in fact in control of when we live and die

What about the people that did successfully commit suicide? Was that Gods will? Surely not.
I know people that have committed suicide and i don't believe it was Gods will

23 years ago my 76-year-old mothers thyroid packed up and complications arose, we got her into hospital but she was far gone.
After a few days the medic took me aside and told me they could probably keep her alive with drugs for a long time to come, but that it might be best to stop medication and let her slip peacefully away.
I looked at her and realised she was virtually brain dead and trapped in her body, so I said to him "yes, do what you think best", so they pulled the plug and she died peacefully in the night and her soul was free to fly..:)

Thanks for sharing such a personal moment
I don't think that is wrong. And im not sure that fits the definition of euthanasia. I could be wrong
