im sorry I didn’t watch the video. I’m videoed out at the moment.
But can I ask, why does it matter so much which day of the week He died on?
Logically and theologically speaking, the day of the week doesn't matter. It really doesn't matter. Neither Jesus nor his apostles, including Paul, mentioned the day or gave it any importance.

That having been said, the essential aspect of the resurrection is the way God used it to affirm his approval of Jesus, certifying that indeed Jesus is the messiah. Refer to Romans 1:4

I made the video to help other Bible believers to have confidence that the Bible is inerrant and speaks factually about the life of Jesus, especially those who are facing atheists or unbelievers who raise objections to the verity and accuracy of the New Testament. My hope is to provide fellow believers with answers to those objections.

I wanted to show that Jesus was correct to claim that he would not only be in the tomb for three days, he would also be in the tomb for three nights as he said. Matthew 12:40 I think my video shows this to be true.

I am aware that much of the Christian world celebrates "Good Friday" and I don't have a problem with that. I don't, but I understand why others might. My only concern, in the video, is the witness of the New Testament. My video was an attempt to give my best account of the passion week, demonstrating that indeed, the New Testament speaks factually about the ministry of Jesus.

Good question, in my opinion. Thanks for asking.

If my analysis is correct, He died on a Wednesday about 3 pm in the afternoon.

Yep! They rushed to bury His body, because starting at sunset began a 'high day', a sabbath per the feast which was to be kept in addition to the regular weekly sabbath (John 20).

Yes. Lord Jesus was raised from the dead after three days, and three nights, just like He said with giving the sign of Jonah. That has to be reckoned per the Hebrew calendar too, the day reckoned from sunset to sunset.

If one believes he died on thursday and another believes it was on friday and both agree HE rose again . Niether one is unsaved .
I wasnt there . i just believe what is written . Maybe he was crucified on thursday , either way I BELIEVE HE DID DIE for my sins
and that HE did rise again for my justification . AND TO ME that is ALL REASON TO REJOICE .
FOR the grace of GOD revealed to me what the carnal mind never could . IT LED , IT DREW ME TO SAVING FAITH IN CHRIST .
Since we are on that note . LET us remember this too , HE WHO LOVES ME OBEYS ME . Just a reminder
cause i see many who omit some things JESUS teaches , PROVING they dont LOVE HIM at all , THEY just love
the image created of HIM that serves their own fleshly desires . I GOT SERIOUS NEWS about that
IT MEANS they created a jesus that serves their own fleshly desires .. THAT IS SOME SCARY STUFF TOO .

But again it is sheer UNTRUTH what you allege here. It PROVES one thing only, that you have NO CLUE about the Scriptures, tough guy. YOU'RE BLUFF man. All you get right is to get me wrong, pipsqueak. You are a champion causer of sin in others like me. You just are an ignorant in Scripture but PRETEND BIG MIGHTY, WISE, YET NOT CHRISTLIKE.

JUST MORE CORRUPTED SCRIPTURE BLUFF UNTRUTH FOR WHICH YOU CANNOT QUOTE ONE SINGLE SENTENCE FROM SCRIPTURE YET I AM THE BULLY WHEN I TELL YOU IN YOUR FACE YOU'RE A LIAR! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO TO DESTROY ME IS TO USE SCRIPTURE. I CHALLENGE YOU AND I CHALLENGE YOU IN THE NAME - THE ALMIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

O, make of God a joker, what else is He that He talks such vanity as calling HIS SABBTH, HIS HOLY DAY, HIS SIGN between HIMSELF and HIS TRUE OWN People? Laugh in His Face - His Face the Glory of God in the Face of Jesus Christ, make light, drink, drink, drink of the wine of the fornications of the ANTICHRIST BEAST, o Sunday worshippers! because the day on which Jesus DIED is meaningless if not already PROVING that Christ "Rose from the dead according to the SCRIPTURES THE THIRD DAY - the day which is after the Preparation which is the day The Sabbath of the LORD GOD which was the day BEING INCLINING IN THE MID-AFTERNOON, OF, IT, TOWARDS BEFORE, the First Day of the week"-- the world's and the devil's very own MOST SACRED DAY, 'the Day of the Lord SUN'!

Very good ... for you. Not for me.
I believe Jesus Christ “Died ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES and that He was Buried and that He Rose ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES “the third day HE SAID as the Living God: I RISE!”. and to me that is more than reason to rejoice, it is HIS COMMANDMENT TO BELIEVE!

It's important to always remember, that our Heavenly Father is very accurate with His times for things, and they don't happen just by chance. So when Lord Jesus said He would be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights like Jonah was in the belly of the fish, that is specifically what He meant.

Matt 12:40
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
KJV

Since Jesus gave us that formula of "three days and three nights", that is what we must follow. And since the Hebrew calendar reckoning is what was used then by the Jews, from sunset to sunset, that is the reckoning we must also use for those "three days and three nights". Then it's a simple matter of going backwards from Sunday morning when He rose and was seen, and count those "three days and three nights."

sunset to Sunday dawn = sometime Sunday morning early, Jesus rose and was seen.
Saturday dawn to sunset = 3rd day
sunset to Saturday dawn = 3rd night
dawn Friday to sunset = 2nd day
sunset to Friday dawn = 2nd night
dawn Thursday to sunset = 1st day
sunset to Thursday dawn = 1st night
Wednesday at sunset = Jesus' body buried just before sunset

I always thought Christ died on a Friday on the 13th day, hence that's why that day is considered bad luck, not that I am superstitious, but I've read and seen documentaries about Friday the 13th and why it's considered a bad luck day.

The pagans no doubt love that false idea.

I wonder if there is such a thing as bad luck.

The preparation of the poassover was wednesday! The preparation spoken of by the priests and Scripture is the preparationf for the feast of unleavened bread!

If it was the preparation of the passover, the priests wqould have had no time to prance around Pilates court, Herods court and the council. They would have been at the altar slaughtering thousands of lambs so people could go home to prepare the seder! Sorry but nice try!

Luke 23: 54 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.

And that day was THE preparation and Saturday drew on ! they di dnot cll high days Sabbath days until centuries later!

John 19:31
King James Version

31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

John shows it was Friday because he singles out that Sabbath day- as a high day!

Most of the priests may have been unsaved, but the day before passover was a huge day for them! They had loads of priests and the high priest at the altar slaughtering lambs for the passover!

On what day the glorious LORD was crucified I do know because the Bible tells me so, that it was "ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES the third day WHILE ALIVE THE SAVIOUR SAID : "the third day", I SAID, "I RISE"!
Thus I do know He rose again "the third day" "THE SELFSAME DAY, DAY AS NIGHT AS THICK A DARKNESS OF THE GREAT AND MIDNIGHT CRY" WHEN The First Born of God the Father in Egypt of this world was KILLED, in Jerusalem, where outside the great city nigh opposite its East Gate above the Kidron Valley, when the earth trembled and the curtain in the most holy place was torn from roof to floor, and fell like a broken twig the lintel above its temple's door - when Jesus with a great Voice cried: IT IS FINISHED! BOWED HIS HEAD, AND GAVE THE GHOST : "Into thy hands, O Father."

Ah what kindergarten goggo maak vir baba bang bambino story-- PLEASE JUST DO NOT SAY TOO HARD IT WAS THE SABBATH DAY, because then you DO NOT praise the Lord but of necessity must just fake... but say it was the FRIDAY, YES YES YES so you can clap your hands and jive revival rumbas.
