I honestly think the ASB(Acts skippers Bible) will sell like hotcakes. They embrace that whole heartily ... LOL
They dont understand my friend . Faith in JESUS saves , if our faith is in HIM then we would be water baptized as well .C section births don't cause the water to break.
Those folks are not born of the water per John 3 per your logic.
Those folks cannot enter into the kingdom.
ASB(Acts skippers Bible)...
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, NOTHING!
39 Jesus did it all at the cross!
40 Just do a teency work in confessing...
Can a person be alive in Christ before being buried with Christ via baptism per Rom 6?
Yes or no?
I am only creating a translation that Acts skippers would be comfortable with.Mocking Scripture is a very serious sin! You had better ask God to forgive your for mocking His word!
Rom 6 ASB(Acts skippers Bible)...
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were NOT baptized BUT WERE SPIRIT FILLED into Jesus Christ were NOT baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are NOT buried with him by baptism into death BUT OF THE SPIRIT.
You think skipping Acts 2:38 is not mocking scripture?Mocking Scripture is a very serious sin! You had better ask God to forgive your for mocking His word! (more than once)
Buried alive?
Mkay.
You say a person is alive before baptism per Rom 6.You asked "Can a person be alive in Christ before being buried with Christ via baptism per Rom 6?" And I answered in the affirmative.
What does that have to do with being buried alive? Baptism is not a requirement for salvation. It is a symbolic statement that one is burying the "old man" and arising as a "new man" in Christ.
I'm sorry but I don't agree with that statement. No newly birthed child is mature at the start of their life and neither are newly born again Christians. As in nature maturity comes with age and the right teaching. It takes folks that are mature enough to repent to qualify for baptism for the remission of their sins per Acts 2:38.
I can see that the redefinitions of Acts skippers are bringing conviction.
I think we are speaking of the same things.I'm sorry but I don't agree with that statement. No newly birthed child is mature at the start of their life and neither are newly born again Christians. As in nature maturity comes with age and the right teaching.
No wonder folks don't want baptism.
No, I am trying my best to show folks that have skipped and taught folks to skip Acts 2:38 that they do not have remission of sins and forbid remission of sins to their converts. That is perhaps a very clever statement in your eyes, but it is irrational to others. Nobody is "skipping Acts" because they disagree with your obvious misinterpretation. You think you're being funny and/or cute, but you're being blasphemous.
