We briefly debated and I won with scriptural backing.

That's how it works? You declare yourself the victor and move on? Before you ascend the gold medal stand, how about answering my question on the contradiction in Mark and 1 Samuel?

how about answering my question on the contradiction in Mark and 1 Samuel?

There is no contradiction but in the shallow carnal minds of the enemies of the word of God (who’s seat you unwisely chose to sit in):

“How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?” (Mark 2:26)

The all-knowing, infallible, infinitely wise God declares through Christ that Abiathar was the high priest!

How dare you question God and Christ simply because God chose not to reveal this in the time of 1 Samuel!

Just so that everyone is clear:

@BARNEY BRIGHT is saying that the inspired writer lied when he wrote the following:

And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up?” (1 Samuel 28:15)

The enemies of truth are tireless.

@BARNEY BRIGHT Be careful you are not blaspheming the Holy Spirit by implying it lied to us in scripture!

Just to be clear Michiah-Imla is saying the inspired writer is telling us it's ok to listen to those who practice spiritism, which includes people who talk to the dead. Michiah-Imla is saying that although God has never approved of those who practiced talking to the dead, or anyone associating with them, Michiah-Imla is saying God approved of his faithful servant Samuel to talk through a spirit medium, specifically a person who talks to the dead. So by Michiah-Imla saying God himself actually did use his faithful servant Samuel to talk to king Saul he is saying God approved of this conversation that was through an arrangement of communication that belong to Satan. I'm not going to agree with any of this but that is what Michiah-Imla is saying that this inspired writer is saying.
God has nothing to do with those who practices talking to the dead and neither does God's people. The prophet Samuel had nothing to do with those who spoke to the dead he didn't even associate with them when he was alive but you think he associated with them after he died. God would not have one of his faithful servants associating with spiritism, which includes those who say the speak to the dead or those who go to such people who inquire to speak to the dead.

If God can makes asses speak and Jesus said to who thought themselves to children of Abraham that the rocks would cry out as Abrahams children, put God in a box and limit his almighty power over everything.

I believe it is Job where it talks about it is God that set the boundaries of the seas and keeps them in place. Do ppl read and study the WHOLE WORD OF GOD in context anymore?

But you said God DID reveal the truth in 1 Samuel! That was your whole argument! Six times today, so far! Now you are saying otherwise?
Be consistent. Either God chose to reveal the truth in EVERY WORD of 1 Samuel, or your selection of chapter 28 for God revealing the truth and chapter 21 for His not doing so runs aground.

God does not chose to control a witches’ access to the dead. Nor does God chose to control a soothsayers access to some secrets (Acts of the Apostles 16:16). Samuel wasn’t a willing participant, he was raised up by the witch.

God rebuked these witches here (open you ears):

“And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you? And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies? Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly. Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 13:18-21)

You honestly think that a witch who belongs to Satan is more powerful than God. God wouldn't speak to Saul, for you to say that Satan is so much more powerful than God that he can force God to speak to king Saul by having one of his faithful servants forced to speak to king Saul and God can't do anything about that. You obviously believe that, but I will not. God had decided not to speak to king Saul, So God can't be forced to talked to king Saul by having one of his faithful servants forced to talk to King Saul. You can believe that Satan is much more powerful than God as though God can't prevent this witch from forcing his faithful servant from talking to King Saul but I will not believe that.

But you said God DID reveal the truth in 1 Samuel! That was your whole argument! Six times today,

I don’t know what you’re talking about.

You are all over the place. Bringing in confusion into the conversation.

Your second and third questions have nothing to do with the first question of the topic.

I guess this is your tactic. Once you are proven wrong in one particular, you jump to another particular. And then erroneously declare that the other party is proven wrong by his answering of unrelated scriptures.

You haven’t read anything I wrote. What are you reading?

I honestly believe that these are “bots” that don’t read posts and just blurt out their preprogrammed narrative. At least it behave like one (this spirit).

You can believe that God can't prevent Satan from using one of his faithful servants such as Samuel in this situation involving a witch which you say she forced Samuel to speak to king Saul. God can't be forced to talk to anyone by a witch or by Satan by trying to force one of his faithful servants to forcibly talk to King Saul. You will not convince me of that. First of all as the scriptures show us the prophet Samuel was dead. He wasn't a living person any longer. A witch nor her master who is Satan has the power or the authority to raise the dead.

As the scriptures show us when a human being dies he/she ceases to be a living person. Genesis 2:7 is biblical proof that the only way a human being is a living person is the flesh and blood body combined with the breath of life(spirit). That breath of life(spirit) separate from the flesh and blood body isn't a living person. As I said a witch or his/her master who is Satan doesn't have the authority or the power to resurrect the dead back to life.

No you're not listening to what you're saying. You're the one who said at post # 87 that
"Samuel wasn’t a willing participant, he was raised up by the witch."
When saying this you are saying that the prophet Samuel was forced to speak to king Saul by a witch. A witch is a servant of Satan so your saying this witch forced Samuel to talk to King Saul and God could do nothing about it.

Again, where did I say God cannot stop something from happening? I said God chooses to allow things to happen for his own reasons! Like when God allowed Satan to afflict his faithful servant Job.

God can't be forced to talk to anyone by a witch or by Satan by trying to force one of his faithful servants to forcibly talk to King Saul.

You are conflating a lie with a misrepresentation of what I stated.

The witch brought up Samuel from the dead! Period end of story. It is a biblical fact! Once Samuel saw that he was awakened he simply used the opportunity to further admonish Saul.

You can continue to bring in your unreasonable and unbiblical objections all you want. But the scripture has spoken in the matter and I simply magnify it.

Samuel didn’t raise himself to speak with Saul (he cannot do this), THE WITCH DID! He was not willing in this regard!

Faithful servants of God are not forced to do anything. There are so many people who have died instead of being forced to disobey God. You think the prophet Samuel who was a faithful servant of God was forced to disobey God, I dont think so. Plus as I said God wouldn't talk to king Saul, Satan can't force God to talk to king Saul by using one of his Gods prophets. By you saying the prophet Samuel was forced to talk to king Saul you're saying that Satan forced God to talk to king Saul.

I'm telling you this isn't true. The witch doesn't have the authority or the power to raise the dead. Also God can't be forced to talk to anyone by Satan or any if his demons or servants by using one of his faithful servants like Samuel.

Nope.

Never said such a thing.

The scripture in question doesn’t show such a thing either.

You are arguing with your self.

After the witch brought up Samuel:

“…Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up?” (1 Samuel 28:15)

Samuel said

Samuel said

Samuel said

Are you hearing yet?!

Samuel is not guilty of any sin here!

He was raised up by the witch!

Samuel didn’t ask to be raised up for this brief encounter.

You're saying this witch, therefore Satan has the power to raise the dead. I don't agree with this. That this witch forced the prophet Samuel to participate in an arrangement of communication that had everything to do with Satan, that the faithful servant Samuel was forced to be disobedient to God by associating with Satan's arrangement of communication by talking to king Saul through this arrangement. You obviously believe that the prophet Samuel didn't have the ability to say no to this witch and choose not to speak to king Saul. Because the prophet Samuel was a faithful servant of God meaning he was obedient to the true God's wishes and because the prophet Samuel knew it was Gods decision not to speak to king Saul, it's obvious to me that if this had really been the prophet Samuel he would have been obedient to God and not spoken to king Saul since he knew God didn't want to give king Saul any divine message.

I don’t care about your opinion!

The scriptures say IT HAPPENED!

You exalt yourself above what is written???

Man you are bold!

You're teaching people that Satan and his servants have the power and authority to raise the dead. Satan or his servants don't have the power or the authority to raise the dead.
