You really need to sort out your thoughts. I am the type of person who takes every word into consideration. It's not easy to respond to someone who isn't concise. I have to go with what I think you are saying. So, here is what I think you are asking and saying:you you do not get a sense that I am hostile to the Bible?? to me that is saying that you think I am hostile to the Bible...
Without a doubt the most important question you will ever be asked in your Christian Life...
Is your faith in the Bible or is it in God?
If you have to use the Bible to validate your faith, then your faith is in the Bible and not in God.
If you Believe that the Bible supports a Triune God, your faith is in the Bible and not in God.
If you believe Jesus was God Himself, your faith is in the Bible and not in God.
If you believe that God will not talk to you, then your faith is in the Bible and not God.
When you post comments and quote them, please post the entire post and not just bits and pieces.
I know hardly any of you will do that because cherry picking is your way of hiding from the truth...
Actually if you use the Bible you are bound to it... else you call it all lies...
Either you think I am hostile to the Bible or your are not... If it is a sense you should have left that out until you were sure on way or the other ..You really need to sort out your thoughts. I am the type of person who takes every word into consideration. It's not easy to respond to someone who isn't concise. I have to go with what I think you are saying. So, here is what I think you are asking and saying:
1. Yes, I do sense you have are hostile to the Bible.
2. That is not saying you are hostile to the Bible; it's saying I sense it is there. With continued dialogue, that may change. We shall see. If I am presented with facts and statements which are free from contradiction, I will update my opinion and gladly publish it for all to see.
3. Despite you objection to my charge (which is merely my sensing you have hostility) you have yet to deny it.
4. Granted, I have not provided reasoning for why I sense such, but I haven't been asked either. Again, I never said you did. So your request was amiss.
Yes!!! God's WORD TELLS US HOW WE CAN HAVE ETERNAL LIFE!!
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have """eternal life."""
John 6:49-50 I have not spoken on My own, but the Father who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and how to say it. 50And I know that His command leads to """eternal life""". So I speak exactly what the Father has told Me to say.”
No. I don't do that. But you still need to gather your thoughts. Is English your first language?Either you think I am hostile to the Bible or your are not... If it is a sense you should have left that out until you were sure on way or the other ..
First and foremost... my request was not amiss... you have already said that you did not provide reasoning for why the sense...You really need to sort out your thoughts. The Bible is God's Word= Jesus.

prove, with out the using the Bible, that you have faith in God?We would not have faith in God today if it was not for the Bible.
The Bible is how we are able to have faith in God.
To not know this means one is not born by the Spirit and by His Word.
To reject the Bible is to reject God.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).
Where is your proof that we can have faith in God outside of what the Bible says?
Do you have a more sure word of prophecy besides the Bible?
My guess is…. You don’t. Your mind or your visions or dreams or experiences is not the same thing as God’s Holy Word (the Bible).
even with the Bible you could not prove that Jesus was Eternal life... You cannot even prove Jesus was even God with the Bible .. but that is for the next Thread I am going to post...Jesus is eternal life and the Word is God.

Only in your post quoted above, because I never said anything about what you may or may not care about (how would I know what YOU care about?). I only commented on what I care about (because I DO KNOW what I care about.)yup... and where does it state that I do not care about the Bible???
Seriously, I did not mean what I did not say. I merely explained why I ignored your multiple requests to avoid quoting the Bible in this topic.seriously your saying that you did not mean that I do not care about the Bible when you said " because I CARE what God’s Holy Spirit inspired the Apostles to write."...
@True FaithI will link you to one of my threads with 12,000 plus replies. Maybe you could comment after reading through them all, how does that sound ?
This is all nonsense.
There is no dichotomy between reading the Bible -- the Word of God -- and having faith in God. If I read your post, how do I know that you actually exist as a person? Same irrational nonsense.
First you denigrate reading the Bible, then extend it to supporting a triune God. Reductio ad absurdem.
Jesus was, is, and always be God. God is simultaneously the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It's sad that you don't understand the triune God in your zeal to prove everyone wrong but yourself.
You statement about God not talking to believers is total nonsense. It doesn't deserve a reply.
You come one here aggressively challenging everyone who doesn't agree with your false understanding. When and how did you become a Pharisee?
