You are the one claiming the Bible says the Father turned his back on Jesus yet it’s nowhere to be found in the scriptures and they teach the opposite- oxymoronWell la de da do you feel superior for making what you assume is a profound oxymoron !
Reminds me of the many like " jumbo shrimp"
Lol lol lol lol lol lol
… and yet you offer nothing but a “Taint So” to correct me.
Would it not have been more effective to just provide the verse that teaches God’s wrath poured on Christ?
AmenYou err again, because in my post #11 I gave one of the Scripture proofs of Christ's crying out being actually about HIS STILL TEACHING WHILE UPON THE CROSS, with His pointing to Psalms 22 about the crucifixion. He DID NOT quote Psalms 22:1 because of God's Wrath upon Him like you try to say! which is an idiotic idea. God's Wrath is RESERVED FOR THE WICKED, AND THE REBELLIOUS, not His Son Jesus Christ! So you do greatly err, not knowing The Scriptures.
Christ I believe experienced Gods Wrath against Sin, not His Sin, but the Sins of Gods Elect, when He was made a curse on the Tree Gal 3:13 and experienced being forsaken of His Father as a consequence of imputed sin. I also believe He experienced unparalleled anguish of mind and soul, even of body.WRATH: strong vengeful anger (Merriam-Webster)
There is a good conversation to be had on the subject of “Jesus and the wrath of God”.
WRATH implies punishment inflicted in anger.
Where is the scripture verse that ever actually says that God (the Father) was EVER angrily punishing Jesus in our place?
I would never suggest that Jesus did not suffer the punishment of God for the sins of men, since there are too many verses that clearly state that.
Nor would I EVER suggest that God will not pour out His wrath on those that reject the salvation offered in Jesus Christ (typically mentioned as part of a final judgement to come).
However, God has also said "The person who sins will die. A son will not suffer [the punishment] for the father's guilt, nor will a father suffer [the punishment] for the son's guilt; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.” - Ezekiel 18:20 [NASB20]
Is that not exactly what we claim that God has done when we say that the WRATH of the Father (God) fell on Jesus … angrily punished the innocent for the sin of the guilty?
I would prefer to see a verse that EXPLICITLY supported that claim.
(Now that is a conversation worth having.)
Argument from silence since the Bible not once says Jesus suffered wrath , anger from God.Christ I believe experienced Gods Wrath against Sin, not His Sin, but the Sins of Gods Elect, when He was made a curse on the Tree Gal 3:13 and experienced being forsaken of His Father as a consequence of imputed sin. Obviously this is a matter you dont understand. Your argument is from silence since the bible not once says Jesus didnt suffer wrath and anger from God.Argument from silence since the Bible not once says Jesus suffered wrath , anger from God.
A simple word study on wrath proves your claims are empty with no verses to back it up .
hope this helps !!!
See here you are refutedObviously this is a matter you dont understand. Your argument is from silence since the bible not once says Jesus didnt suffer wrath and anger from God.

He didn’t suffer wrath you made it up .Your argument is from silence since the bible not once says Jesus didnt suffer wrath and anger from God.
Yeah I believe He did suffer Gods Wrath against the sins of Gods Elect. None of those scriptures made your case, not even close, most of them didnt have a thing to do with the matter. He didn’t suffer wrath you made it up .

I think your premises are wrong. Wrath is not what you claim. Rather, like all of the 7 Deadly Sins, they are out of control excess.WRATH implies punishment inflicted in anger.
Where is the scripture verse that ever actually says that God (the Father) was EVER angrily punishing Jesus in our place?
Still no wrath , but hey guess what it’s a man made doctrine just like tulip .Yeah I believe He did suffer Gods Wrath against the sins of Gods Elect. None of those scriptures made your case, not even close, most of them didnt have a thing to do with the matter.
Gods wrath comes upon sin, Eph 5:5-6
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Now understand, these things, sins of all sorts, they for whom Christ died, those same sins were charged to Christ, laid upon Him, by imputation, and so Gods wrath had to come upon Him as it does on the children of disobedience. Even though Christ Himself did no sin, the sins of the elect were laid upon Him Isa 53:6
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Now if Christ didnt come under the wrath of God for the sins of Gods chosen people, then there were sins committed that never came under the wrath of God, as it does with them who had no surety. God would never had been propitiated for them.
It is there but you must be given eyes to see. I can't help you only God can.Still no wrath , but hey guess what it’s a man made doctrine just like tulip .
