Yeah, "causing the thigh (i.e. uterus) to rot" refers to the only significant body part down there: the uterus. Whatever is in the uterus is expelled upon this event. Some Biblical diagnoses do not meet 21th century diagnostic standards.3 If a man beget a hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years are many, but his soul be not filled with good, and moreover he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he:

I can't find any version that uses abortion in Ecclesiastes 6. What version is that ?Yeah, "causing the thigh (i.e. uterus) to rot" refers to the only significant body part down there: the uterus. Strange the passage doesn't mention anything about the woman being pregnantYeah, "causing the thigh (i.e. uterus) to rot" refers to the only significant body part down there: the uterus. Dear dear Stan. Is this how you respond when your satan taught theory on Scripture is destroyed with facts? How sad....And poop is an organism living in a mother's bowels . . .

Yes I saw it in Strong'sI don't recall. Notwithstanding, a quick check:
Strongs 5309 designates a stillborn child
הַנָּֽפֶל׃ (han·nā·p̄el) as:
Strong's 5309: Something fallen, an abortion

You are an organism with unique DNA and no one has the right to kill you, an organism with unique DNA NOW or when you were in your mother's womb. God created you, an organism with unique DNA. God would not what anyone to kill that unique organism: Thou shall not kill
**I** was not created in my mother's womb!! Only my "earthly tent" was created in my mother's womb, but I did not become a living being until God breathed into my nostrils the Breath of Life upon exit from that womb.

I did find one version that said the uterus would dropGood point. So back to the drawing board, but it is late in an exhausting day, and I will have to leave that for another day.
A quick check does not leave me with an answer to your observation. Sounds as if adultresses were virtually left with the equivalent of a hysterectomy!!
No doubt, that if the adultress was pregnant, the fetus would have been aborted during the process, but as you say, she may not have been pregnant. A valid observation. I am definitely going to look into this further.
Nope, he knew you before he breathed into your nostrils. Jeremiah 1:5**I** was not created in my mother's womb!! Only my "earthly tent" was created in my mother's womb, but I did not become a living being until God breathed into my nostrils the Breath of Life upon exit from that womb.
He is blind to it. No amount of arguing or showing scriptures will change his mind. He thinks abortions is a good thing. If God decides to abort that is his decision. We are not the deciders of life and death.Nope, he knew you before he breathed into your nostrils. Jeremiah 1:5
Nope, he knew you before he breathed into your nostrils. Jeremiah 1:5
If God decides to take a life that is one thing. We are not the deciders of who lives and dies. I cannot believe the hate that you are spewing. It’s like you just want to see babies die."Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee; I have appointed thee a prophet unto the nations." Jer 1:5
That means He knew me before I came out of the womb, sanctified me, and appointed ME to be a prophet to the nations.
What a ridiculous twisting of Scripture. You demonstrate little interest or regard for Scripture, for truth, or mere common sense! Sad!
God has little interest in fetuses that are going to be aborted, in fact He incorporated abortion into our DNA. God aborts/miscarries fetuses on a regular. I know a number of people who have experienced God-delivered miscarriages/abortions. To say abortion is evil, is to say God is evil!!

Why are you so mad about this? It's quite strange.Yeah, whatever happens down there, if the woman was pregnant, she certainly wouldn't be after drinking the abortion potion!
Abortion is NOT taking a life, because a fetus doesn't have a life until birth. Before that, it is just a blob of flesh as part of the woman's body.
We become a living being when God breathes into us our real us. our spirit and soul. Until that happens, our body is dead!!.
Not my idea, but God's idea wherein He provides the truth through James:
"For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead." James 2:26
Our earthly body is described as our "earthly tent", a temporary home for our spirit. As Paul says:
"For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven" 2 Corinthians 5:1-2
The major difference between you and I is that you are presenting unBiblical fairy tales, whereas I support my beliefs with SCRIPTURE!
I'll ask one more time. Can you say Jesus is Lord? Has Jesus come in the flesh?Yeah, whatever happens down there, if the woman was pregnant, she certainly wouldn't be after drinking the abortion potion!

A pivotal question from First John, right? (1 John 4.2)@Mantis I'll ask one more time. Can you say Jesus is Lord? Has Jesus come in the flesh?
