You have a good point, But should we not be simply ignoring all this pagan nonsense? Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games, etc. are all basically pagan. And now they have all been thoroughly corrupted with drug abuse, transgenderism, and all kinds of other rubbish.

I don't want to be ignorant of what is going on concerning prophesy and I honestly feel it in my spirit that this is the ushering in of the Antichrist. I mean a televised event that viewers have no warning about what was fixing to appear on their TV sets....and it can easily be justified by the performers saying it is a cultural ceremony of Birmingham and it is nothing more than giving respect to what they see as sacred....what a mean looking bull....definitely looks intimidating....maybe it was supposed to be....anyway, if possible even the highest elect will be deceived....so is participating in an event that has these type of ceremonies whether by spectator or competitor....does that put you in danger of being deceived.?
Satan is a wolf in sheeps clothing. He is always masking his deeds with things people would deem acceptable and even desire to be part of the movement.

Birmingham has a shopping centre called the Bullring so that's what the bull is all about. Nothing to do with Baal.

It is a performance for the opening ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games. During the ceremony the brought in a giant bull and there were performers all around it worshipping it...they also had a platform that looked like the tower of Babel...Prince/King Charles gave an opening speech....

Did that and there are a few articles that call it baal worship, satanism, occultism.

Who seeing the happening in Birmingham might not also be reminded of those in Israel when the first king of the Northern ten tribes, Jeroboam, prepared two golden calves to replace the God of Israel?

This very morning, I was reading a portion of l Kings which included the following verses:

"Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.
And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan" I Kings 12:28-30

We know that they then went from bad to worse. Over 200 years later, after the northern tribes had lost their last king, King Hezekiah of Judah in the south sent emissaries to the backslidden northern tribes inviting them to return to the One True God...

"For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.

So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them." II Chron 30:9-10

Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem." II Chron 30:11

Does this not sound like much of the Christendom of men today? Not all the golden calves are made from the natural element, gold, nor look to the physical eyes like the offspring of milk cows.

I didn't watch anything but yeah it wasn't about doing homage to the risen Christ. Charles could have got off on the right foot but....

Participation is to be completely shunned, but even observing evil is not encouraged in Scripture: Thou [Lord] art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he? (Hab 1:13) And the Lord lives within every believer.

When Moses saw the Israelites worshipping the golden calf, and dancing, fornicating and playing around it (as repeated here in Birmingham) he was so furious that he threw down the stone tablets from God and broke them into pieces. The he ground up the gold and made them drink it. There is a lesson there for us.

Well India is part of the Commonwealth. And the bull is just a symbol for Birmingham.

The Raging bull nods towards Birmingham's history of the bull ring market, a place where bulls were once held before slaughter, and the workers of the industrial revolution.

The performance from the bull and its dancers is said to signify how women broke free during a minimum wage strike in 1910.

But do they parade it in the center stage and worship it and was the tower of Babel behind it?
I am not someone to go extreme with conspiracy theories or to declare this must be the Antichrist.....I am sharing my very first thoughts when watching this.
And the way they are dressed and are dancing and their makeup and all appearances of evil for me.
It just felt evil watching it.
