Unfathomerable to think you actually believe this rot. Making up secrets....speaking things God never uttered and doing so with no fear.

It's OK if you want to deny Romans 16:25-26.
It doesn't change a thing of who the Angel of the LORD is, that is spoken of at least 50 times in 11 books of the OT.
If it's not Jesus incognito, then by your depth of Bible knowledge, you should be able to reveal who it is.

Btw, it can't be Michael who is "the Angel of the LORD", because he is an Archangel.

But then again as Michael, that could be Jesus incognito also (key word "arch").

But, if you are not getting to far with that, you might want to try God's "wisdom" in Proverbs 8:22-31. I'm sure verse 31 will get you going in the right direction. It's strange how "wisdom" has personal desires, don't you think?

Oh, and remember,....in John 5:39 Jesus tells us that the OT speaks of Himself there.

You are alone in this....denying the angelic works, unthinkable.

Why must one speculate on the name of this particular angel? Why do you feel compelled to go outside of explicit Scripture on the name of all the unnamed angels?

I anticipated tortured rationalization and you did not disappoint.

Angels and prophets speak for God. It's what they do. The string of False Alternatives leading to an angel (explicitely said to NOT be Jesus in Hebrews) that must be Jesus is a flat out or clear contradiction.

Just a point of language usage, putting aside those that rebelled, aren't all angels 'of the LORD?' In other words, saying 'of the Lord' is just for emphasis. Compare to Prophet A is just a prophet but Prophet B is a prophet 'of the Lord' has no difference in application. Does it?

And this is the BEST evidence for a precarnate Jesus on Earth. Geesh! You are a funny one, Jack!

It would have been way more awesome if your reply began, "There is no explicit teaching or verse in Scripture that 'Angel of the LORD' refers to the precarnate Jesus but ..."
Nice smokescreen but no refutation at all.

The refutation is seen in the questions you failed to answer. But that's typical of you Jack. Jesus is not God but a man, and certainly no kind of angel.

It's so funny that trinitarians just make stuff up to fit their doctrine. Being a man, Jesus is no kind of angel. He is a man of God not an angel of God.

Because the name of the Angel of the Lord was being kept as a secret.
Judges 13
[17] And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?
[18] And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?

Romans 16:25-26
John 5:39

I AM the resurrection.

John.11

  1. [25] Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
In the OT, Jesus is symbolized as an angel of the LORD, and shows up numerous times as being one of them.

I think most here do know that Jesus is NOT a literal created angel. However, neither is he only just a literal man.
He is the Son of God, the LORD'S Lord to us, who was willing to pose as an angel under the OC, but then be made into a man under the NC.

Can YOU say of yourself: "I am the resurrection"?
I didn't think so.
In fact, no one but Jesus has said that. You may correct me if I'm wrong, but I highly doubt that you will.

Gen 1 God said, "Let US make man in OUR image according to OUR likeness.

Do you think maybe Satan created you?

Col 1 By Jesus all things were created.

Jesus is God, the Creator!

Since there isn't a single created angel that can create anything living, it's a sure thing that Jesus, the symbolic "Tree of Life", is how Proverbs 8 describes Him.

The Scripture you quote says, neither that Jesus is an angel or God. Don't you think it odd that if Jesus were God, he'd be masquerading as a mere angel?

Given that something is a secret is NOT evidence the secret is Jesus.

Then Who is it? Are you saying Satan may have created you?
I've answered this question numerous times. And others to have answered it. You just cannot accept that God referring to others in heaven does not in any way support the trinity.

It's sad that some don't know that God's "good news" (Gospel), that was given to the world, was the person of Jesus Christ Himself.
Romans 16:25-26.

Edit: I am now taking up this topic in the thread by "face2face" of "Ministering spirits ignored".

I don't know what you mean by this but I did not start a thread on that topic.

In that thread, you seemed to reference the OP not addressing something in another thread. IMO, it's hard enough to keep track of a conversation in a single thread, let alone cross reference conversations among numerous threads.

Since it was planned, before the world was that Jesus was to be made into a man, what would ever prevent Him, who was then Holy Spirit, to be incognito as an angelic ministering spirit?
Absolutely nothing!

Oops, sorry! still trying to get use to this new format of posting. Can't say that I care for it at the moment either. I'm still adjusting.
I meant my post to be for you, but I mis referenced the new thread by "F2F" as being yours
I edited the necessary correction in post #417
Thanks, EB
