If you want to think the best of the angels who bred with women, you could surmise that they had seen the fallen nature of humans, how that they were physically degenerating since they came under God's curse and started dying, and that the angels may have thought that if they took on perfect human bodies and bred with humans that they could restore the human race back to perfection. However, that didn't work, and they became lustful and sinful (Jude 1:7, 2 Peter 2:4).

If you don't believe that the angels took on human form (as men) and mated with women, forcibly taking "any that they wanted for themselves as wives" (Genesis 6:2, WEB), then you will not fully appreciate why God commanded the Israelites to kill all people (men, women and children) that were living in certain cities in the promised land, Deuteronomy 20:16-17 (WEB):

(16) But of the cities of these peoples, that Yahweh your God gives you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes;​

(17) but you shall utterly destroy them: the Hittite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; as Yahweh your God has commanded you;​

It was because these people's DNA had been corrupted by the hybrid race that the angels had produced - the Nephilim. Satan was trying to thwart God's plan to provide a Messiah to redeem all mankind, so God told the Israelites to destroy those hybrid beings (their human DNA being mingled with non-human DNA). The Messiah's sacrifice of his life in Adam's place could only redeem those people who are descended from Adam and Eve. Anybody who had been born as a result of cross-breeding with angels would not be redeemed.

Why don't you want to believe what the Scriptures says? Whether or not you find it embarrassing or evil, it is what happened.

If you come to Jude, and you've already determined for yourself that angels did not fornicate with human women, then you have to do something with those words, and what it will come down to is that you will have to disbelieve them. Call them allegory, and make up a meaning. Or redefine the words to mean something else. Or simply refuse to follow the flow of the sentence. You have to do something!

And that something will be, a man endeavoring to find a way to disbelieve the Word of God.

So what happens when you come to another "difficult" passage? Now that you've allowed yourself that liberty with the text? Not good! I've seen people walk down that road, and end up in very strange places.

Folks that do that don't understand what The Holy Spirit does. It's The Holy Spirit that gives us understanding, so if we 'deny' God's Word in favor of some secularist humanist philosophy, then doing that is to start cutting off the spiritual bridge to The Holy Spirit. Then because of that The Holy Spirit stops teaching us. Apostle James kind of pointed to this in James 1 about those who waver.

They were not necessarily very evil and wicked. They had been persuaded/deceived by Satan to side with him, but their intentions may have been to help mankind. Christians should always think the best of others unless they have absolute proof of their sins, and even then to have compassion and love towards them - angels as well as humans!

Well, yes, as I said, it depends if you’re laboring over the letter or not. I don’t. I have to do things the way He leads me and in the way He teaches me. So do you.

The Holy Spirit Comforter is my Teacher, but I also have an education, which includes learning how to 'read', 'compose', and comprehend the English language. And by 'both', the interpretation of the "sons of God" in Genesis 6 being about angels mating with flesh woman to produce a hybrid giant offspring, which is backed up in Jude 1, is impossible to interpret any other way. So either one believes it as written, and even the several examples of the giants being of great size and having six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, or they don't believe and thus deny God's written Word.

Likewise with the "sons of God" in the Book of Job which appear before God's Throne in HEAVEN, it is easy to 'know' those were angels. And Genesis 6 and the Book of Job are the only places in The Old Testament where the "sons of God" phrase is used, and is about angels.

There are many things written in God's Word that do not seem possible, yet those who believe on Him and His Son are to have Faith that God will do what He says, whether it is yet manifested or not. Sarah, Abraham's wife, doubted The Lord when He told her she would bear a child, although Sarah was in her 90's and didn't believe it and laughed. Even Abraham laughed at first (see Genesis 17 & 18). It happened though, didn't it?

In the Greek Septuagint (LXX) the Jewish scholars rendered Nephilim as γίγαντες [gigantes]. The KJV translates the word as “giants”. However, the word gigantes means earth-born. The Jewish scholars interpreted their Hebrew Scriptures to mean that angels from heaven mated with women to produce earth-born 'people' - hybrid beings.

CLUE #1 - use your own evidence as you clearly stated "deception leading to death, being deceived, the serpent deceived me."

CLUE #2 - You made a flawed judgement = "that goes beyond tempting to and into an entrapment"

CLUE #4 - women being entrapped thru rape and human trafficking has always been sin sin entered the world and is at an all time high right now = therefore your assesment is missapplied to the Scripture

We ought to do no such thing . on this you are correct . SO why do so many
always try and attribute good to those people who do evil . You know things like homosexuality , or heaping up money
or etc , etc and etc . You who say we ought not to attribute good to angels who do evil
