Never saved

The “never saved” argument has already been blown up. Now here you are, covered in blast dust like a cartoon character, gathering up the pieces again…

Paul addressed those standing in the faith when he advised them to not be highminded:

“…thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.” (Romans 11:20-21)

Those standing by faith are saved and are certainly in danger of being cut off as the unbelievers through high mindedness.

Only in your delusional world of unbelief. Romans 11 has already been explained to you IN CONTEXT but the truth just doesn't fit your narrative.

So in your warped “context”, those standing in the faith are not really standing in the faith? Even though the Apostle Paul said they are standing in the faith?

Ooookaay….

Genuine believers stand in faith. Unbelief is not standing in faith, as demonstrated by the Isralites (natural branches).

Who said otherwise? Paul is not speaking to these.

In regards to Hebrews 12:14, I often hear works-salvationists cite this verse with the implication that if you are not living a "holy enough" life (in of yourself, in addition to placing your faith in Christ for salvation) then you won't be saved. The NASB reads - Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.

To be "sanctified" is to be "set apart, made holy." Those who have been justified by faith are also sanctified/set apart/made holy before God positionally in Christ. 1 Corinthians 6:11 - Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

In regards to Hebrews 12:15, eternal IN-securists typically cite "fail of the grace of God" and assume that such a person was saved and lost their salvation, yet other translations clear up this confusion. The NIV says, "falls short of the grace of God." The NASB says, "comes short of the grace of God" and the ESV says, "fails to obtain the grace of God." Never saved. Also, Esau blew it.
The whole meaning of reborn in Christ, or born again.

We were first born with and into the natural carnal mind of the world.

Unless or until the Holy Spirit of God enters in, we remain unable to understand the things of God. 1 Corinthians 2.

The Catholic woman I referred to earlier was the example of this.

Be one Protestant or RC, the change doesn't come into nor into us unless Holy Spirit sanctifies us, his temple, and regenerates is to then see and understand, stand under, the cloak of his comforting armor and teaching spirit.

She put on the faith. The faith however was not in her.
When I'd hear her talk, gossip, about her sisters, condemn those she despised, I'd always think to myself, would my master Jesus, say these things? Speak like that?

No.

We shall know one another by our behaviors toward one another. And by how we live in this world as visitors here to serve where Father leads.
Amen.

The whole meaning of born again. Sanctification, justification.
We are told in 1 Corinthians 2 that our natural minds could not understand the things of God because those are spiritually discerned.
The Holy Spirit of God must indwell that new creation in Christ for our transformation, rebirth into the spiritual connection, mind, with Christ, to begin.

The woman I ref

The whole meaning of reborn in Christ, or born again.

1 Corinthians 2:11 - For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which thte Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

These are very insightful verses which explain a lot.

First rule

1Jn 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
1Jn 4:2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,
1Jn 4:3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.
1Jn 4:4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
1Jn 4:5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them.
1Jn 4:6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

We are not to judge the person, but discern truth from error brother, too many fingers pointing, forgetting three fingers pointing to ourselves.
Our warfare is not against BLOOD AND FLESH, and yet, this is exactly what is happening, warring among the brethren.
Shalom
J.
It aint warring , its doing all to correct those in error . No one here is name calling . BUT we must expose the lies
of men gone wrong . For these lies have led to even greater lies and greater darkness within even the churches .
My soul weeps for the billions lost even within the christain realm . And we all know all other religoins and secular too are in
darkness . My advice , dont let anyone fall for this new age go spell of a hell of a lie getting sold to the churches
and to all other false religoins and secular as well . THIS LIE that all are serving GOD in their own way and own path .
CAUSE that trods CHRIST RIGHT UNDERFOOT . YET even over seventy percent of christendom so callled ,
now believe the lie of the great delusion and are now being gathered as one for unity and false love RIGHT UNDER that lie .
DONT FALL FOR IT . we must cling to CHRIST to the GOSPEL TO THE END and let none be moved
away into this other false lovey do and lovey poo lie from hell that the world has sold the churches and false religoins .

We bess learn our bibles for ourselves . Cause most , nigh all , leaders in churches are dooping the sheep with a lie
from hades , from satan , from the great adversary of our souls . AND satan always begins with JUS A LIL LEAVEN
and once that leaven is allowed in , IT BRINGS MUCH MORE LEAVEN to THE WHOLE IS LUMPED PLUMB FULL OF DARKNESS .

Give satan even an inch and he is the ruler and has become the ruler of your souls . Dont heed his men .
He has many doing his work now and no marvel . Satan himself can appear as an angel of light
AND he can sell darkness AS LIGHT and if folks dont know CHRIST then they fall for the darkness he puts as light .
IF the light that is one be darkness , WOE WAIL THE DAY , GREAT is that darkness .

When the text plainly says what it says but a man comes along
and says OH it cant possibly mean that , DUE TO THEY LEARNED IT OUT OF CONTEXT by those who preached CONTEXT unto them .
YA BETTER RUN .
an example . The ocean is blue . But they come along and under another teaching that says its green
they then say , OH ITS NOT SAYING THE OCEAN was BLUE at all , cause its green . YET IT SAID IT WAS BLUE .
Now how bout we read again romans and other places instead of allowing men to twist what it says
TO FIT AN ACROYMN .
Paul meant what he wrote and he wrote what he meant . IF THE JEWS who did not believe were CAST OUT
and thus at that point NOT SAVED . WELL , just like JESUS said , A man who continues not in me is cast out
WELL we better continue in HIS GOODENSS otherwise ye too shall be cast out .
AND THEY TOO if they continue NOT IN UNBELIEF can be grafted back in . THE KEY IS WE NEED TO BE IN THAT TREE .
So if the jews were cast OUT for unbelief , HOW come when paul warns the CHURCH to continue
or they will be TOO , THAT GETS OMITTED FOR AN ACRYOM . I mean ,,,, EXACTLY . folks dont let them dupe you .
ITS TRUE WE are saved by grace , by faith in CHRIST . BUT YA BETTER CONTINUE IN HIM . THEY ALL WARNED
and they all said the same . SO I HEED CHRIST and the APOSTELS . WE BETTER ALL HEED THEM TOO .
SO many say we trust in CHRIST . WELL HE SAID IT FIRST . SO TRUST IN HIM and HE WILL BE WITH US
through it all . WARNINGS and REMINDERS are not a sin nor lack of faith . THEY ARE SIMPLY FOR OUR GOOD .

Judge not , say they whose sins they desire not to be brought to the light .
Judge not has become the protector of all that is unholy and that attacker against that which is holy , righteous and correct .
Let us ponder on that for a bit today and pray to GOD about this .
Bring up homosexuality and its JUDGE NOT
but say , the bible is not accurate for todays age , and its AMEN .
Bring up JESUS as the only way to be saved and if one believes not they will be damned and its JUDGE NOT
but bring in the all inclusive many path to god lie and its AMEN .
ARE WE SEEING THE PROBLEM YET .
Or warn out against true biblical christains and its amen they are haters and its AMEN they holler .
Judge not is used to protect sin and error and those who use it JUDGE HARSHLY those who would correct .
Let us ponder on these things and then open the bibles and read JESUS
read the aposetles , then ask yourselves WOULD THESE MEN be seen as HATERS and JUDGMENTAL
To this generation . YES THEY WOULD . we have a serious problem and one that needs fixing fast .

Isolating a text out of context is never a good idea. That happens often with James 2:24 and has led to disastrous results, namely, salvation by works. Romans 11 is speaking of collective ecclesiology and not individual soteriology. Romans 11:11 - I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles.

When did this fall take place?

19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” 20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith.

Did these Israelites that were broken off stand by faith?

21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.

The same unbelief that got the natural branches (Israelites) cut off is the same unbelief that gets the Gentiles cut off, which is not continuing in his goodness.

Romans 11:25 - For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob

When will this take place?

Eternal Security is Biblical.

Psalm 37:28 - For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.

John 6:37 - All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.

John 10:27-29 - My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

John 18:9 - that the saying might be fulfilled which He spoke, "Of those whom You gave Me I have lost none."

Romans 8:30 - Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. *ALL of them. Notice how Paul uses the past tense for a future event to stress it's certainty.*

2 Corinthians 1:21 - Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

Ephesians 1:13 - In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Ephesians 4:30 - And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Jude 1:24 - Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.

So OSAS is true IF you are truly saved to begin with. There are genuine Christians and there are "nominal/pseudo" Christians. There are genuine believers and there are make believers mixed together in various churches and on various Christian forum sites.

Eternal Security is UN biblical (even the phrase itself).

“And you, that were at one time alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel…” (Colossians 1:21-23)

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” (Hebrews 6:4-6)

It's Biblical, as I already demonstrated from scripture and you don't need that exact phrase spelled out for you in order to figure it out. Maybe you would prefer the phrase, "preservation of the saints." (Psalm 37:28; Jude 1:1)

I already explained this in post #38.

I already explained this in post #33. You have a short memory.
