Saying leftists hate God is like saying adults hate Santa Claus. “When judgement day comes” bla bla bla. Conventional believers of God have a slave morality where their life revolves around constantly appeasing some god in fear of punishment which they then project onto others.
The shooter was a former student of that school. Wouldn’t be surprised if they were bullied and constantly being told about how they’re gonna burn in hell if they don’t repent.

Genesis is not literal. It's relating the processes of alchemy in many places.
