What's a wiggle? LOL

My daughter is 43. She calls me a couple times a month to say hello. It always starts out good. Hey, how you doin?
After 10 minutes we begin arguing about politics. She's liberal in most things and conservative in some.
She despises religion. Believes there is "something" out there but not a God. She believes we are a virus on the planet like a cancer eating away all the resources. But she knows what a woman is. Believes there are 2 genders. I suppose that's good.
She was into wiccan for a while some years ago, but got bored with that. Now she's a stay at home mom working in her garden raising my autistic 20 year old grandson who still goes to school to learn life skills.
We always end off the conversation with I love you and talk to you again soon.
But getting from Hey how are you to I love you talk again soon, can be a challenge. LOL
She hasn't had an easy life, but her sense of humour is unique. Specially when I'm trying to be serious and she makes a joke out of it.
We talk sometimes for 3 hours and most of it is usually arguing about the injustices of mankind, of which I agree but see it from a different angle. She is surrounded by democrats so I'm the odd one.
I think we try to convince each other that the other is right. And sometimes we both win or lose.
She only lives 4 hours away but I haven't seen her in years.
I was 13 when I got pregnant with her. The only pregnancy I ever had. I believe God turned a bad thing into a good thing and gave me a precious gift. If I had it to do over again I wouldn't change it. Maybe I wouldn't have gotten married to a man that just saw us a tax right offs. Maybe I would of gotten a job that kept me home more to raise her instead of being a latch key kid.
But I think it all made her stronger, and an independent thinker.
She's always there when I need her.

Kids are hard. And parenting can be hard.
I found that ending the conversation with I love you no matter what keeps the communication flowing.

Just sharing..
Hugs

We live in a world that is controlled. The system is rigged. The only escape is death.
The only control you have is what you believe and what you do with that belief.
You eat what they put on the shelves. They allow you to live on land as long as you pay taxes.
You watch what they program on the tv. They control the money.

The question is, do you submit to their beliefs or strike out on your own.
There are two belief controls. You either believe there is a God controlling everything and everything has a purpose, or you believe what the world tells you to believe. That they are right even when their wrong, and if you go against their beliefs they attack you.
I prefer to be a Christian rather than a heathen.
I get to choose whose control I put myself under, even if it comes at a cost of going against the world and it's beliefs.

George Carlin helped in my transition out of religion and my beliefs. I don't understand why you're using his material at all.

So they create CERN to open portals to other dimensions to enter into this one.
I don't think it's coincidence that when they turned CERN on the world got infested with LGBTQism.
Just sayin..
They've been messing with genetics for a long time and have engineered a new species that is neither male nor female and/or there are aliens here on Earth and who don't fit our social models. Either way they are preparing society for their arrival and announcement so we don't shun and discriminate them. It culminates in laws that man we have to accept them among us.

You're choosing to believe the Matrix belief system. Mythology of "god" and the whole "sin" thing and guilt trips and scaremongering is all in place to enslave the populace and make them accept willingly that yoke of slavery. The notion that all will be well after you've spent your life working for them is a lie.

The truth is that the few at the top (a group of ancient dynasties/bloodlines) have the Stone and enjoy immortality (or at the least 1000s of years of life). They have very long since developed control systems always employing mythology and scaremongering. They own everything. The notions of countries is a con. They have their own people running each. You're right about many other things. TV is propaganda, so is cinema/film. But we are all trapped. Believing their religious control systems, and there are many will avail us naught. Nothing will change until we pluck up the courage to confront this reality and choose to do something about it.

Excuse me @Wrangler that's an old chestnut argument.
I'm not making an argument.
Archeologists have recently found the actual passage through the Red Sea with all kinds of chariot paraphanelia at the bottom.

I provide evidence debunking Ziggy's claim.

What is love? I haven't got a clue. My whole life people telling me what love is, where love is, who love is, who I should love, who I shouldn't love, and love myself. So what is love? Because I haven't got a clue.
You know what it is. You already said it.
I O U.

But love isn't a debt, it's more like a gift you give to someone from your heart.
Paul speaks about love and what it is.
1Co 13:4
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1Co 13:7
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

different bibles have different interpretations but they all mean the same the same thing.
Love others as you yourself would want to be loved.
Be kind, be merciful, patient, don't hold grudges. Forgiving, compassionate.

Proverbs has a lot to say about the matter of love too.
Love is something you give to another from your heart to do them good.
Even when it's not recipricated.

Snopes... really? LOL
Have to love those fact checkers.
I dropped a 2 hour documentary. I found it interesting. Trey Smith has one also.
Better to believe unbelieving soros funded fact checkers though, who get paid to discredit anything having to do with God or the Bible.

You know why people don't like Trump? Because he calls out the scum for what it is and they don't like being exposed.
Sometimes truth hurts.
They would have George Carlin arrested and incarcerated today for Hate speech.

I haven't watched many of Carlin's stand ups. This one is the only one I really know, and it's the truth.

I believe everything in the bible is true, it's the lens we look through when we read it that's obscure.
That's a meme someone else gave you. I've heard it before myself.
The Bible is very patently not all true but it does contain important secrets and a glut of wise words and proverbs that don't go amiss in today's society. The Bible is a constructed collection of other works which have been censored, edited or even cast out and excluded by the church in order to create something on which they can underpin their BS system of control. It doesn't reflect the true life of Jesus, his relationships and his humanity. The church lies rely on the notion of divinity, purity and so on. So they erased any notion of Jesus being married to Magdalene, or even having sex and having children. The other gospels, the ones they struck out of the canon, tell a very different story about Jesus.

Archeologists have recently found the actual passage through the Red Sea with all kinds of chariot paraphanelia at the bottom.
They also located the remains of Noahs Ark between the mountains of Ararat (sp?) with the iron beams that held the skeleton of the ship together.
They've been spinning those yarns for as long as I have been here. It helps give succour to those in doubt. Just another part of the ruse.

I believe there is a lot of historical facts in the bible. They also found the remains of Sodom and Gomorrah and the pellets of white stones like sulfur that rained down upon them. Nowhere else on earth is this sulfur white rock found.

"The destruction of Tall el-Hammam, a Bronze Age city in the Jordan Valley, by an exploding comet or meteor may have inspired the biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah, a new study suggests."

"Moore writes that people may have passed down accounts of the spectacular disaster as oral history over generations, providing the basis for the biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah—which, like Tall el-Hammam, were supposedly located near the Dead Sea"

I don't have a problem with actual miracles. I've witnessed a few myself through the years. I should of been dead long ago.
But by the grace of God I'm still here.
Cognitive Bias.

No, I'm choosing to believe God is the key to escaping the Matrix belief system.
You sure have a way of twisting things.
I agree some use God to keep them controlled by the Matrix, but God isn't the Matrix.

Have you ever done something wrong in your life and felt guilty about it?
Not because you think you might go to hell or be punished, just the fact your conscience is screaming at you that you did something wrong.
How do you avoid a guilty conscience? By not doing wrong things.
The guilty conscience is the slavery you put yourself under.

Who is the "them" you spend your life working for?

One day at work, many years ago, I worked in a printing shop. I made plates for the presses. You take film and line it up by bullets. Usually 4 or 5 film, 1 Black, 1 Yellow, 1 Cyan, and 1 Magenta. You have to make sure all these lay atop each other perfectly or else the print comes out unaligned and blurry. This was the pre-press department and I would help out in this dept when I was slow in the bindery or shipping.
One day I saw a piece of film that wasn't lining up so I tried to correct it, but I made it worse. So I hid it back in the folder.
The person in charge of pre-press came in, took out the film and started saying.. hmm what happened here? I didn't say anything.
Later that day my conscience got so guilty I went in crying and appologizing that I made the mistake and didn't own up to it.

Did I think about sin or even God at the time? I don't believe so. I just knew I should of admitted what I did.
I felt so bad I couldn't hide it anymore.
Seems a simple thing. What's the big deal?
But it was a big deal to me. I lied by my silence.

The Matrix says just walk away and forget it, no one will know. She'll fix it and everything will be forgotten.
I couldn't.
That's the difference of being controlled by the Matrix and controlling your own destiny.
That was like 30 years ago and I remember it as if it were yesterday.

Now when I owned up to what I did I felt a lot better. I was told don't worry about it. (an act of forgiveness)
Who exactly was I working for when I confessed what I had done?
Who gained anything?
Only me.

I say this again. There is a BIG difference between Religious experience and a Spiritual relationship with God.
I am not a religious person. I don't have a denomination. I don't go to a building and hand over tithes.
I help people broke down on the side of the road that run out of gas. I help the old woman with her groceries taking them to her car.
I buy groceries for the homeless and feed stray cats and dogs.

Jesus didn't have a building that his disciples worshipped in. They went into the world 2x2 helping those who couldn't help themselves.
The Matrix wants to put you in a box. Jesus wants to set you free.

George Carlin was anti-theistic. So much so that he abandoned the notion of God.

That's fine. George Carlin talked about what he knew. He knew worldly things and the way it worked.
There's a difference between worldly and spiritual knowledge.
He talked about what he knew.

I wonder what Ziggy would taste with mint sauce and baked potatoes. Mmm @Ziggy

Sorry about that, it's the reptilian part of my brain overacting again.

Now back to your post: Cherry picking comes to mind. Picking out the fruit you want, to feed the beliefs you value. We all do it. It's called confirmation bias (When we filter information to fit our personal beliefs)

I believe it's called discernment. Choosing good from bad cherries.
Mint sauce and baked potatoes... I prefer butter and sour cream or bacon and cheese. Chives are good too.
What kind of mint?
I'm a mashed potato fan mostly. With lots of gravy.
Hash browns, home fries, scallopped, au gratin.
Bolied, baked, fried, sauted...
I love cooking.
I hope I have the energy to start a garden this year on my deck.
This winter zapped most of my get up and go out of me.
Lots of losses. Lots of obstacles. Lots of shovelling that caused my knees to balloon out so I couldn't put any weight on them.
Still trying to catch up on housework, and Dad is coming over next Friday to stay for a few days.

I wish I could cherry pick the things that happen on a daily basis.
What's wrong with cherry picking anyways?
And of course beliefs are personal, so I don't see a problem with it.

Are there really reptiles with human brains? Amazing...
Probably Fauci created it in his lab.
Anywho...
Now I'm hungry.. thanks lol

George Carlin is a great comedian. He makes money making fun of anything.
But being a comedian doesn't mean you believe everything your being funny about.
It's simply words put together to make people laugh and pay lots of money to hear it.
A lot of comedian are very sad people. They put a mask on to perform.
I miss Robin Williams. Sometimes this life can get to you, so you either laugh or cry and just try to get through it.

Anywho here's one with George Carlin on Time.
It's funny and not meant to be taken literally, although you could, there's a lot of truth in it.
But I wouldn't base my faith or my beliefs on a comedian. It's their JOB.

George Carlin isn’t walking through that door. Jesus of Nazareth is.
