Thank you for sharing what you believe you needed to with me here.

No, it doesn't.

Here is what I am reminded off, you often post that scripture about how much study can tire a person out, and while no doubt that can happen, it is useful at least for beginner students to learn and grown, as Enoch had suggested, from eating puree, and drinking milk, going into solid foods.

Jesus right before he has gotten captured, and his disciples not even able to stay away (to apply themselves by the spirit) is the picture.

Matthew 26:40-43

New International Version

40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter. 41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

42 He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.

43 When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy.

The difficulty of killing or mortifying ones on flesh to submit to learn, is a difficult one as our flesh doesn't care to even read the bible it is super difficult!
How does one ever overcome the flesh and the ways of the flesh? Alone it is impossible, so ask for help from someone for whom it is possible:

Mr 10:27And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Mt 7:7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Mt 7:8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Absolutely John! Love to you friend.

One of my favorite mentions by Jesus is found in Luke 11:13.

My hope with showing actual pictures from the bible is people will pick it up and start reading it.

This version is a Thompson Chain Study Bible KJV LARGE PRINT (They have other versions Idc what a person will get as long as they will read it)

Wow! Such patronizing.

Do yourself a favor. Copy my post to you and make a document you can read later in a few years. When you get older and grow in the Lord, take it out and see if you understand it then.

I understand where you are coming from. You've got tunnel vision that your denomination's teachings are right. But most are based on error in interpretation. That is why we have so many.

Remember, it is the Bible, not your denomination, that says "without holiness, no man shall see God." So good luck! I bet your denomination says the opposite. If it does, you better wise up!

Thank you to everyone whom has come by to comment on the topic at hand.

May you continue to seek God out in faith, and may he reward you for doing so. Its always about putting God first, and treating your neighbor as you want to be treated, love is the key but that doesnt mean everyone had to like you either.

Stay close and hold on to the one who makes you right with God, and have the ability to have peace with your Father in heaven.

Perfect perhaps with what already have and already are, but perfect as our Father is perfect?

Job was perfect in the very first chapter of that book, but only perfect with what he had and what he was. He then went through trials and the LORD blessed his latter end more than his beginning. In other words he grew to be effectively more like the Father. Did not Jesus grow during his time as a man of flesh?

Lu 2:52And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

And then...

1jo 3:2Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Yes god has declared us as finished or perfect! Now He is conforming us to what He3 has declared us to be! Like a sculptor who has a block of marble and sees the sculpture he will make. Then all he does is chip away the pieces that do not belong! That is what god is doing to us! He knows what we will be in teh end for He has declared that is what we are and now (sanctification) He is simply removing things that do not belong to that finished work He has declared!

Do people ever rebel against God as He tries to work on them to complete His work on them?

All the time! But that does not stop god from working.
I believe that it does. We always have two choices: For God or for ourselves. When we quench the Spirit, the Holy Spirit that is, we are limiting God. He does not want people to do that, but they do it nevertheless altogether too often. At what point would it become an unpardonable sin? You may disagree, but that is where I am on this.

I would agree Amadeus,

God can not work on someone whom doesn't allow him to work on their mind and heart, because he is a good God, and doesn't force anyone to do anything. He allows individuals to choose, and that is why I suppose he allows us the ability to choose, whom this day we will serve, be it self or Him. Does that mean stops calling to them by the Spirit? I do not think so, but rejection is a choice just as much as acceptance.

God always accomplishes His will. Man cannot stop God!

Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Hebrews 10:14
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

when god saved ud, He knew all the sins we would still commit! but as they are all paid for already, God will continue to work His will in our lives. How much we enjoy it is determined by our obedience. but He will conform us to the image of Jesus.

Reader,

When God saved the sinner, God knew that = "The one time Eternal Sacrifice of Jesus" would pay for all their sin, the day God redeemed them from all their Sin, so that He could then Give them the New Birth.

If they still had sin, they are not redeemed.
If they have it later, they are not yet saved.

Christ was sent to the Cross to deal with Sin.
All of it.
Otherwise, you'd still have it., and if you still have it, your'e not born again yet.

The Cross of Christ is not a "past sins only" Redemption.

Its an ETERNAL Redemption.........of ALL sin.

"Jesus is the ONE TIME>......ETERNAL SACRIFICE.....for sin".

This is why God does not charge sin to the Born Again.
= "God has made Jesus to BE sin".

Sin is gone, because Salvation has manifested as "redemption from sin".

This is the Cross of Christ.
This is the finished work of Jesus on the Cross., as Jesus told us...."IT is FINISHED". He said from the Cross before He died and later rose from the dead.

Why?

Does the writer of hebrews say this?View attachment 32989

Jesus also said, "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now."

And who even now could or would dare say they can bear more than the "apostles??" Heaven forbid!

It's as if religious leaders have imposed a limit on those "many things" which Jesus assigned to the Holy Spirit...which of course is anti-Christ!

I understand your explanation but do not agree with your conclusion.
