The question I asked was, What was your MOS and what unit were you assigned to while in the Middle East? It’s a common question and something military and ex-military people ask each other all the time. I often ask someone this when I find out they're a veteran or currently serving, that's if they don't ask me first.

It's also a question you can ask that one guy at the bar who claims to have been in special forces and how he single-handedly saved his platoon from being wiped out by insurgents. If they answer with something along the lines of "I’m not allowed to say for national security reasons" or "it's classified," you immediately know they're full of it.

Your MOS isn't some kind of secret code, and even former members of special forces that were once operating at the highest classification levels can, and usually will, tell you their MOS if asked. As ex-military, revealing your MOS and where you were assigned several years ago isn't a threat to you or to a unit's security.

I want to just throw something in here. What brother @amigo de christo is doing is what the Bible instructs the brethren to do. Correction is God’s love. It’s because we need to look out for one another, to help people understand the biblical gospel, so they can have eternal life.

The only way eternal life is possible is through the biblical Lord Jesus. When we read our bibles, through both the old and new testaments we can see the the Lord loves his people, but he also corrects when people are in error. He corrects, because He loves them.

In Acts and in the letters in the New Testament, we can see that the apostles also corrected when people were in error. It’s the biblical charity we need to follow. Not the world’s false love that leads folks to hell.

I have also taken additional training relating to terrorism and violent extremism from other organizations such as FEMA, START, and the University of Maryland.

Jesus rebuked many people as did Paul. The writings of the OT prophets are full of rebukes. It is not pleasurable but is often necessary.

The number one reason that I put users on "ignore" is that I believe they lack discernment and have demonstrated themselves to be unwilling to accept sound doctrine. The "Jesus tortures people FOREVER" crowd are prime candidates, and there are a lot of them.

Conversely, folks like @St. SteVen and @FaithWillDo are well worth the time to read and they make this community worth visiting, as do you.

Eventually, one needs to put away their pearls and shake the dust and move on.
