The Gospel author names were not “lost” they were removed and replaced by false teachers who created a story to put them in power over the church.
What? The only one we are not sure of is the writer of Hebrews. Did God tell you that one?
The antichrist is already in the church through tradition, and although the ”great tribulation” (Revelation 7:14) gphas already ended, the persecution of those who simply want the church to worship Jesus and only Jesus continues.
There are many antichrists and much tradition that has drifted from God's Word BUT TYE GREAT TRIBULATION HASN'T ENDED! We are likely in the "Beginning of Sorrows" which precedesbtue full blown GT or we are in it qith the Antichrist already in charge!
i know I rambled on a bit because I am wrapping up the prophecy investigation. I promised myself that I would not open a can of worms (Wormwood?) because the complete message of prophecy will not
be out for another 5-6 months when Decoding Revelation is issued
Wormwood is likely nuclear fallout that poisons waters of the earth during the Trumpet judgements.
"Decoding Revelation"? If it is anything like what you already presented, spare us.

Do I have all the answers?
I haven't seen any.

BTW, Rev. 5 was a vision in heaven that John saw in His past, of Jesus being presented with he scroll. ( written around 95AD). "Bowls filled with incense" is just symbolic prayers if the saints ts. In Rev. 8, those prayers are answered. All incense when lit on fire produced smoke. Just another way of saying God answers the prayers with judgment. The Saints have had unanswered prayers for thousands of years, specifically pertaining to their pleas for judgment, to put an end to sin and evil, to banish it, restore the world, etc. The Great Tribulation is an answer to those prayers. One of these prayers is written; “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Rev. 6:10

Why is it that we have thorough documentation of many famous writings of numerous authors - even statues and paintings of them - yet the names of the most important authors who ever lived have been lost? What About 2 Peter which incidentally seems to fit in with Revelation when thoroughly analyzed? Yes, God speaks to me through visions, directions, and over three years of full time tireless prayer as I continue to try to understand and document what it is I’m being told. Did God speak to you or did you receive your conclusions from the thoughts of other people?
There are many antichrists and much tradition that has drifted from God's Word BUT TYE GREAT TRIBULATION HASN'T ENDED! We are likely in the "Beginning of Sorrows" which precedesbtue full blown GT or we are in it qith the Antichrist already in charge!
Where do you read that we are in the “ beginning of sorrows?” So all those who were martyred for their faith starting at the beginning of the church and lasting centuries were not important enough to be addressed in prophecy? What kind of great antichrist are you waiting for that will be worse than the ones that executed the disciples of Jesus In an attempt to eliminate the church? Yes, the antichrist was in charge for many years and although isn’t in charge anymore, is still present in the church. Please thoroughly spell out your comments so that they make sense. My directions and guidance are spelled out now in two books that expose the antichrist, then two more books on the way that explain how the history of the church was completely and thoroughly predicted in prophecy.
Wormwood is likely nuclear fallout that poisons waters of the earth during the Trumpet judgements.
"Decoding Revelation"? If it is anything like what you already presented, spare us.
Did you get this knowledge from God or did you obtain it from another person? In oRyder to understand what Wormwood is, the seals, trumpets, and wrath of God must all makes sense TOGETHER. if you know that Wormwood is nuclear fallout, then you also know how the first two trumpets lead into the discussion of Wormwood, and you also know why the seals were presented before the trumpets and what each means.
I haven't seen any.
…because your mind has been made up-it is closed. I pray for guidance, listen, try to understand, then write. Do I hear from God? Yes and I feel very blessed for it because it is overwhelming but awesome.

The third book that will come out soon, Unraveling Daniel, will go verse-by-verse through Daniel and explain the seventy sevens, Daniel 8:14, 12:12 and tie it all to Revelation. Prophecy does not have to be force fitted and patched together to make up a story. In Revelation, the seals chronologically present a story that then feeds into the trumpets and so on through the bowls of wrath to the eternal church. It’s a history book written in advance that makes complete sense once fitted with the prophecy in Daniel. God provided Daniel and John visions that weave together as a perfect fit and unless connected together, the meaning is hidden. Theologians point to the future to explain prophecy because its much easier to create stories that point to the distant and unknown future, than to tie the messages together.
Incidentally, the story of John writing Revelation at the end of his life in prison is more of that theological stew meant to hide the beast. Again you are listening to words of men and there is no proof or truth behind them. The Bble is the only word of God and you would be better off to stick to that and believe everything you read, rather than believing all this tradition without thoroughly studying it.

Blessings and thanks for your comments.

Umm, I'm still not understanding this. So if Matthew Mark Luke and John were actually written by Louie, Joe, Jeff and Montague, would it make a difference? "That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Shakespeare, R&J
And are you saying that we had been lied to by the Bible all of these years until you came along to straighten us out?
Yes, God speaks to me through visions, directions, and over three years of full time tireless prayer as I continue to try to understand and document what it is I’m being told. Did God speak to you or did you receive your conclusions from the thoughts of other people?
This here scares the pee waddins outta me. God can speak to us through his Word(That is the way He speaks to many of us). We need to make sure it is really God. I see a ton of preachers on you tube who say God talks to them. Kat Kerr, Kenneth Copeland, and the dude who says Jesus taught Him how to play the saxophone to name a few. And they pray, too. And they have visions.

Hello everyone, I’ve now been kicked off three forums because of this subject. I’m a 100% believer in Jesus through scripture, and a nonbeliever in tradition? Why? Because for three years I have conducted very detailed investigations into scripture and proved to myself that the Gospels are eyewitness accounts. Why zero confidence in tradition? Because the investigations proved tradition to be false and 1 John 2:18-19, among other scripture, tells the church not to trust it. Will I be kicked off again or are there interested Christians and seekers of the truth willing to have a logical and facts based discussion on my results that counter “commonly accepted theology” or CAT? I keep running across Christians who can’t seem to realize that a person can 100% believe in scripture to be a dedicated follower of Jesus, while rejecting CAT As false teaching.

Blessings, jaz

There are two reasons for this. The first is that the stories of Matthew, Mark, and Luke never made sense to me. This caused me doubts and kept me from believing in Jesus. The story of Jesus is great, but we didn’t really know who wrote it. For a gear head, this is very hard to accept.
"That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." Shakespeare, R&J

Why? You are a Christian so you must pray. Aren’t you asking for guidance and direction and if you received it would you ignore it? I understand your comment because four years ago I could have written the same thing.
I see a ton of preachers on you tube who say God talks to them. Kat Kerr, Kenneth Copeland, and the dude who says Jesus taught Him how to play the saxophone to name a few. And they pray, too. And they have visions.
Just as written in scripture, everything said or written by people needs to be put to the test. I covered this in the first or or second book. If words support scripture, they are from God. If they negates or contradict scripture they are from Satan. Everything I say and have written have been shown to support and prove scripture as the truth. Nothing I write is scripture and I don’t claim to speak for God or provide the word of God. Only Jesus and the apostles did this. I address only the words of others (CATS). I welcome any and all debate on what I’ve written, but as a Christian and an investigating scientist, I don’t put any faith in the words of people that are not eyewitnesses and the truth always comes out.

Did God speak to you or did you receive your conclusions from the thoughts of other people?
Eschatology has been a study of mine for 30 years. I am drawn to it moreso than any other topic. Si of course in my beginnings I listened to various scholars and tested what they said, agreeing with some things and disagreeing with others. Lots of it is considered unresolved. There are a dozen views of Revelation and the main ones backed by scripture that obviously is interpreted differently.
God speaks to all of us. We are just uncertain sometimes to discern between i our own rational thinking/ ideas and God's messages.
Where do you read that we are in the “ beginning of sorrows
Well of course Matthew 24 describes "wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes in various areas, famine, pestilence, etc."
Much of this is said to have occurred throughout history, but since 1948, it has increase in frequency and severity.
The pandemic I believe was the start of the "beginning of sorrows". No other time in history did the entire world (New World Order) place orders and restrictions across the board, controling our everyday lives with mask wearing, vaccines, and with this heavy hand disqualifying businesses as being non-essential and hence destroying millions of small businesses in order to Segway into their Socialist agenda. The W.H.O. was giving the orders but of course the Elites behind it were giving them orders. Klaus Schwab, at the head of the WEF has a key roll, though I don't think He is the Big Kuhuna.
So what is the next BIG EVENT on the calendar? I suspect that ten nations will gather together ( likely led by Iran and many Muslim nations) supported by Russia as well, since they have bases in Syria and have been behind Oran's nuclear program; and they will attack Israrl. It will likely be nuclear and be over quickly. Of course they have a plan to keep us occupied during this, so we can expect numerous 9/11 attacks on US soil. Russia has a doomsday nuke that when exploded 1/2 mile deep in the ocean that can create massive tsunamis - hence the Revelation Trumpet events describing 1/3 of sea vessels destroyed and 1/3 of the fish in the sea dying.
So all those who were martyred for their faith starting at the beginning of the church and lasting centuries were not important enough to be addressed in prophecy
Evil and death always have a purpose. Each one of them served a purpose. Some are mentioned for an historical purpose. Rev. 20 mentions decapitation that Muslim terrorist are now performing and will continue throughout this coming Jihad.
What kind of great antichrist are you waiting for that will be worse than the ones that executed the disciples of Jesus In an attempt to eliminate the church?
That was small change. Nero and Titus were antichrists for sure but even in 70AD maybe 1 million died. During the Great Tribulation, billions will die.
Yes, the antichrist was in charge for many years and although isn’t in charge anymore, is still present in the church.
Are you an Amillennialist? OIf so, that explains all this. It would have been nice if you could have announced that up front - I wouldn't have bothered with the thread.
My directions and guidance are spelled out now in two books that expose the antichrist, then two more books on the way that explain how the history of the church was completely and thoroughly predicted in prophecy.
Prolific. Well, when that Moddle East war happens and you start to really see Revelation's true meaning unfold then you will have to eat crow.
if you know that Wormwood is nuclear fallout, then you also know how the first two trumpets lead into the discussion of Wormwood, and you also know why the seals were presented before the trumpets and what each means
I also authored a book, "Hell ... IF I KNOW", which addresses the Seals, Trumpets and Bowls. Not that my view is right, but just to make the point that I too have spent much time laboring over scriptures 10 hours/day for 9 months to write that book. It also included much prayer. I don't think there is a person on the planet that has it all figured out, decoded as you claim. The reason is, God intended it to be mysterious. Daniel asked and God said to seal it up until the time comes. It wasn't for him to know. Je was on a need to know basis and sonwere we. We understand only in part.
Incidentally, the story of John writing Revelation at the end of his life in prison is more of that theological stew meant to hide the beast. Again you are listening to words of men and there is no proof or truth behind them.
Hiding the Beast? He exposes the Beast on Revelation, but not by name. If it had been Nero or Titus and concerning the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD, then it wouldn't be prophetic, it would have been just an historical account with their names mentioned. But Revelation is not referring to those small antichrists of that time.
The Antichrist will soon be revealed!
Buckle up!

Well of course Matthew 24 describes "wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes in various areas, famine, pestilence, etc."
Matthew 24 is not about the end of the world, it is about the lives of the disciples. Theologians try to explain language differences and say things like "I think this means" verses trying to put scripture into context with ALL verses (e.g. Matthew 24:34). My book, Unraveling Daniel that comes out within a month or so, will make it clear that the abomination that causes desolation is the sacrifice of Jesus. The seventy sevens when solved is all about Jesus.
So what is the next BIG EVENT on the calendar?
There will be more of the bowls of wrath poured out then the eternal church will arrive.
Evil and death always have a purpose. Each one of them served a purpose. Some are mentioned for an historical purpose. Rev. 20 mentions decapitation that Muslim terrorist are now performing and will continue throughout this coming Jihad.
Decapitations have been going on for years. Why are these more important than others throughout history?

I don't consider myself in any category of theologists, and some will ridicule me for this, but I couldn't tell you what an Amillennialist is. I purposely don't consider other scripture interpretations because I don't want to taint my thoughts. Cherry picking scripture to assemble it into preconceived messages that selfishly support false teachers is a common technique. In addition, theologians love to create a hypothesis then find scripture that they can interpret to validate their theory. I pray, receive guidance and direction, then read and reread scripture while trying hard to put the pieces together while ensuring that the interpretation flows from the beginning of the book to the end of the book, and all pieces of the book fit together. If I'm stuck, I pray and the Lord answers my prayer!!!

I only consider eyewitness statements for all investigations I have performed while working for the Feds in national safety and security and for private companies in the areas of manufacturing, operations, and environment/health and safety. The only eyewitness testimony about faith that I accept is scripture in the Bible because these are the words of Jesus and the words of the disciples whom Jesus commissioned to start the church - the Word of God and eyewitness testimony from those chosen by God. This seems to bother some people, and I'm not sure why if we are all searching for the truth!!! Blessings....jaz

Matthew 24 is not about the end of the world, it is about the lives of the disciples.
Really? The Disciples asked Jesus a three -part question. Jesus' answer referred to the destruction of that Temple ( whoch happened in 70 AD), then He jumped far into the future to His Second Coming and to the end of the ages.
Verses 14 is a key verse, about a time in history that has never happenned, but has just about been a complished: "The Gospel preached to every nation and tribe _ then the end will come."
The seventy sevens when solved is all about Jesus
I agree with that - it was about Jesusb1st Coming.
There will be more of the bowls of wrath poured out then the eternal church will arrive.
The Body of Christ ( all believers) is already here. We are waiting for our resurrection.
Decapitations have been going on for years. Why are these more important than others throughout history?
It is just one verse that gives you a clue as to who is doing it. ISLAM has a history of spreading their religion by dominating territories, defeating their inhabitants itants, forcing conversion and decapitation.
I don't consider myself in any category of theologists, and some will ridicule me for this, but I couldn't tell you what an Amillennialist is
Really, you should know who you are and what camp you are in. Maybe you are going solo with your views? It means that you do not adhere to a literal Millennial Kingdom, ruled by Christ who will actually return to Jerusalem ( His Second Coming) to judge the world and after the 3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation, when He defeats His enemies and destroys them, will restore the palnet to Paradise and sit on His throne for 1000 years. This is supported by many scriptures. The only inhabitants will be Christians (although babies will be born who are not saved until they too believe). There will be peace on earth finally. Not just for humanity, but the animal kingdom as well.

And the wolf will dwell with the lamb,
And the leopard will lie down with the young goat,
And the calf and the young lion and the fattened steer will be together;
And a little boy will lead them.
Also the cow and the bear will graze,
Their young will lie down together,
And the lion will eat straw like the ox.
The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra,
And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.
They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain,
For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord
As the waters cover the sea.
Isaiah 11:6-9

Then Satan and his demons ( who have been bound during this time, will once again be released to deceive those who were born during this time and rebelled and rejected Jesus. Then the Great White Throne Judgment which includes the second death, second resurrection, destruction of the first heavens and first earth (2 Peter 3:10); THEN A NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH (NEW JERUSALEM) is çreated.

How do you read these verses from Gods Word against the tradition of man we have today...

Exodus 20:6
And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Leviticus 22:31
Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.

Leviticus 26:3
If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

Deuteronomy 5:10
And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Deuteronomy 5:29
O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

1 Kings 3:14
And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days.

1 Kings 6:12
Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform myword with thee, which I spake unto David thy father:

2 Kings 17:13
Yet the Lord testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.

Nehemiah 1:9
But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set myname there.

Proverbs 3:1
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

Proverbs 4:4
He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.

Daniel 9:4
And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 15:10
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Not a single one of the above quotes are applicable to born-again Christians. The Old Testament and the Gospels are written for those who have not yet received the Holy Spirit. It is extremely important to realize to whom the various "books" are directed: people living before the crucifixion and the giving of the Holy Spirit or people living after the crucifixion and the giving of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 7:4-6 (written to people living after the crucifixion and the giving of the Holy Spirit), "In the same way, my brothers and sisters, you have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God. For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. But now we are discharged from the law, dead to that which held us captive, so that we are enslaved in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the written code."

I don’t see how they support tradition. They do support the commandments and those are documented.
So then it would follow that you are fine with the fourth commandment with the Sabbath...

Exodus 20:8-11

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

There are two reasons for this. The first is that the stories of Matthew, Mark, and Luke never made sense to me. This caused me doubts and kept me from believing in Jesus. The story of Jesus is great, but we didn’t really know who wrote it. For a gear head, this is very hard to accept.

Yes

Why? You are a Christian so you must pray. Aren’t you asking for guidance and direction and if you received it would you ignore it? I understand your comment because four years ago I could have written the same thing.

Don't you see you are doing the same thing when you cast aspersions on 3 of the 4 Gospels? If part of the Bible is not true, then how can you trust the rest of it?

2 Tim 3:16 "

[ All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Ok I am separating this out of an earlier post.

I asked you earlier if you believed the Bible was incorrect about the first 3 gospels until you came along and corrected it . You said Yes.
Are you serious?

The rules of authorship were very different in New Testament times. There was no such thing as copyright! The gospels were recited orally and repeated, then finally written down. Luke gives the best description of this process: "Since many have undertaken to compile a narrative about the events that have been fulfilled among us, just as they were handed on to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word, I, too, decided, as one having a grasp of everything from the start, to write a well-ordered account for you, most excellent Theophilus, so that you may have a firm grasp of the words in which you have been instructed." Luke 1:1-4

Matthew and Mark were definitely not written by them; John probably wrote his gospel.

It is important to realize that the gospels are not modern journalism, where facts and precise reporting are paramount. The gospels teach spiritual truths through story-telling, which is why they differ from each other. Trying to make them "agree" to get at "the facts" is an exercise in futility.

You must not follow the words of this preacher of that preacher, or, this church organization or that church organization, only follow the words of Jesus. Base your beliefs ONLY on scripture.
Cannot argue with that! However:
That’s a lot to take in. I suggest we take a specific bite at a time if you are serious about having an open discussion on these. Off the top of my head, I notice that Matthew 3:8, when put into context seems to address teachers, so I’m not sure of the point you are making.
Precious friend, you may be the first to suggest "kind, honest, and open" discussion of these.
That would be Great by me.

To sum up the point of post #45 - I was asking "which" doctrine should I "follow to obey God"?

A) Jesus' teachings on earth

B) The LORD Jesus Christ's doctrine, from Heaven,

or, man's tradition of:

C)onfusing homogenization of combining A) + B)?

Amen.

I pray, receive guidance and direction, then read and reread scripture while trying hard to put the pieces together while ensuring that the interpretation flows from the beginning of the book to the end of the book, and all pieces of the book fit together. If I'm stuck, I pray and the Lord answers my prayer!!!
So, you and @Ronald David Bruno have done your due diligence concerning prophecy of end-times
eschatology, and you both still disagree on some parts of it? What good is to disagree on the future
that doesn't even affect The Body Of Christ, except for possibly causing confusion, strife, bitterness
and anger amongst prophetic experts?

Rightly Divided (2 Timothy 2:15) From “Things That Differ” ( FREE study material online, btw )

Where are the "Revelation Of The Mystery" (Romans - Philemon) experts who have done their
due diligence, studying The Scriptures, Rightly Divided, in order to encourage and edify The
Body for the Current Dispensation, so that we may all be prepared for possible soon
Great GRACE Departure, and Judgment. according to all of these Bible study Rules?

Just wondering...

If you document the words of Jesus for the world they will be preached to every nation. What else is necessary.
I agree with that - it was about Jesusb1st Coming.

The Body of Christ ( all believers) is already here. We are waiting for our resurrection.

It is just one verse that gives you a clue as to who is doing it. ISLAM has a history of spreading their religion by dominating territories, defeating their inhabitants itants, forcing conversion and decapitation.
So did the false teachers during the days of Jesus and the disciples.
What benefit is there to joining a camp? I believe in Jesus and follow the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit tells me to join a group, I will, but I don't think that's going to happen, because there is only supposed to be one church.
And the wolf will dwell with the lamb,
And the leopard will lie down with the young goat,
And the calf and the young lion and the fattened steer will be together;

The false teachers during the days of Jesus rejected him - after all they killed him.

Jesus told us that he was here to fulfill the law and the law was the commandments, so since I follow Jesus I also try to follow the commandments.

2 Tim 3:16 "

[ All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
I'm not sure where you are concluding that I am casting aspersions on 3 of the 4 Gospels. With Nicodemus, James, Silas authoring for Peter, and John writing his Gospels, you have the three inner circle disciples recording their eyewitness testimony. Nicodemus was a Pharisee and added to the Gospels what the inner circle disciples were privy to witnessing. The authors mentioned here are much more reliable and believable than authors with a few verses in scripture describing them. On the contrary, my findings prove beyond a doubt that the story of Jesus is true and ALL should believe in him.
