This thread is of no use. Some people don't want the truth. It'll just go round in circles. Pointless and unprofitable.

Never really got why we would be judging angels? Angels do everything right, they take orders from God and perform them. They don't sin.
Now fallen angels (demons, along withe Satan) will be thrown into the Lake of Fire and destroyed. So we wouldn't be judging them, they are already judged and condemned. ??
Understanding who are to “judge angels” is the point here…..those chosen to rule with Christ are granted immortality in heaven, but not all Christians are “elected” or “chosen” for that role. Those who will be “kings and priests“ (Rev 20:6) will gain a higher rank than angels, who rank higher than mortal humans.

Angels have everlasting life but they are not immortal because God can destroy them if they abuse their free will and oppose him. The once faithful angels who made themselves demons, have chosen to go down that track and will pay the penalty.

They don't sin, but in this world, that makes them a target, doesn't it?
Demons don't sin? Their law is not exactly like ours ,but it is righteous and pure. Satan violated that law, went against God and took one third of the angels with him. He fell from heaven/ and or was cast down. He is the Father of lies, prowls around seeking to tempt, lure, devour and destroy people.
I don't get what you mean by demons being a target? We are are their targets.

References include literal interpretation of Jeremiah 1:5. There’s also no Bible verse that says anything to the contrary like “no part of a newborn baby existed a year before”.

We could go back and forth ping-ponging references, but honestly I don’t find that helpful for anyone.
Good verse.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

That doesn't mean Jeremiah existed. It means God had him in his mind, a well thought out design and plan, like a blueprint that an architect drafts. An architect has built many homes or buildings or ships before and knows exactly how this particular one will turn out. It is different than any of the others. Part of our design is the genetic code, but also talents, abilities AND a purpose, a mission. He had _ in mind _ all this concerning Jeremiah and also the rest of us. He knows us before we are born in that way.

Just always remember , though WE , or even an angel preach any other gospel unto you than the true gospel of CHRIST JESUS ,
yeah let him be accursed . For even satan can appear as an angel of light .
If any man , any woman , any child , heck even a speaking donkey , an angel or any
comes and preaches something contrary to biblical truth . YEAH DONT HEED IT . NOW raise those hands and praise the glorious LORD
my friend . JUST a very friendly reminder to us all .
Jesus came preaching the Kingdom of God and He told Pilot that His Kingdom was not of this world.

It doesn't sound like you are preaching another gospel than what Jesus preached?

The Bible say to get into or perhaps better said - the Bible explains that we are to seek Jesus Christ - but you say "GET N THE BIBLE". Jesus told them that the search the Scriptures thinking that in them they had eternal life, when they need to actually come to Him. So you gospel is the Bible, but the gospel Jesus preached was the Kingdom of God - of which He is the King. And the Bible has it recorded 'Seek first the Kingdom of God", but you say "GET N THE BIBLE - so who then is preaching a gospel contrary to what the Bible explains?

This issue of angels should not has so many questions and it should be and very interesting topic - because it covers the Kingdom of God which is in our midst!! Yet to me it is sad to see what is written. It shows that we are not seeking first the Kingdom of God - but because people don't like reproof they don't seek the King (Jesus Christ) and His Kingdom like they should. I that neither do I seek the Kingdom of God like I should either, but I do pray each day "Thy Kingdom Come" and since the Lord is faithful, the Kingdom comes to me everyday, because the Lord is the One who answers prayers and sends the angel to watch over us and minister to us. And that means you can ask them questions and talk back and forth with them.

So someone might ask:

How did you arrive at this:

The answer is that the Lord is faithful and indeed does send His angels if we pray "Thy Kingdom Come" and expect that He is not slow to answer like we think - just like is written in the Bible. And we do that first thing in the morning, right? Or do we? How is it we don't know about the Kingdom of God and about the angels that watch over us (if we abide under the Lord) and minister to us (if we are someone who will inherit salvation) Of course if a person is not saying under the Lord and is not in a position to inherit, then I guess they would not understand even the basics of the Kingdom of God - like how the Kingdom of God is not of this world/realm.

The Bible will explain how the Lord made the angels winds(spirits) but you can't understand because understanding comes from the mouth of the Lord and not from leaning on your understanding - even leaning on your understanding of the Bible!! So ""GET N THE BIBLE" but that will just lead you into religion instead of to the King and His Kingdom.

Gal 3:22 But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

Jesus compared the Kingdom of God to a wonderful pearls, but should I put my pearls (my dealings with the Kingdom) in front of this group?

Mat 13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:

Mat 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

So go ahead and lean on your understanding of the Bible:

Rev 17:7 And the angel said to me, “Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

We can seek the Kingdom of God - the King will talk to us and He will also send His angels to also minister to us, and as you can read above - the angels will answer your question that you wonder about! Of course that does not mean you will even then have a full understanding!!

Rev 17:8“The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go to destruction. And those who dwell on the earth, whose name has not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder when they see the beast, that he was and is not and will come.

But what you will understand is that you not only have a King, but you also have the Kingdom of God! But that understanding does not come from leaning on your understanding of the Bible but comes from actually seeking the King and His Kingdom, like is explained in the Bible!!

The thing is - the Kingdom of God is always in your midst - but rarely do we seek it. Infact remember what is written about seeking the Kingdom of God first?

Mat 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

What things are added to you? Is it not the things you even need now to get by?

Mat 6:31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

Yeah - you can ask the angels about stuff like what is going to happen, but if you understood you would better understand how the Lord tends to us the angels to help you with your work and your getting what you shall eat, drink, and even wear?

People saying ""GET N THE BIBLE" instead of seek first the Kingdom of God didn't believe what they read in the Bible!!

Jn 5:46,47 “For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me.
“But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

Some just don't believe the Bible that they put their faith in!! So they don't seek the King and His Kingdom! With their ears they barely hear and with their eyes they don't see!! And even if you tell them the just trample on what you present to them. If you point it out their ignorance shines through. Still - if you want to know we have a King given to us, and since a King a Kingdom, and since that Kingdom is the Kingdom of God we who know the King know about the Kingdom of God. Oh - Yes - there is more there than we can ever understand but we can understand that it is in our midst and we can go in and out!!

Jn 10:9 “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

Still they say ""GET N THE BIBLE" instead of get in to the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ, the King and door!

Brother, it's not either/or ... it's both. Jesus is the Word who was made flesh. We can't divorce Him from the Word. We must abide in Christ, and His Word abide in us.

Matthew 4:4
[4]But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

John 15:6-7
[6]If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
[7]If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Romans 10:17
[17]So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Bible teaches that the world is in the power of Satan. Naturally, then, angels amongst us will be brought to trial.
Satan took 1/3 of the angels with him when he rebelled against God who turned evil. Likely this occurred just after creation. But 2/3 of the angel are good. My guess is that there are at least 400 million angels ( since 200 million demons are in action during the Great Tribulation. Michael and his angels war against these demons all the time.
[Angels, according to Hebrews 1:14, are “ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation.” The Greek word for “angel,” angelos, and one of the Hebrew words for “angel,” malakh, both refer to one who is a messenger. Angels also serve as warriors and involve themselves in warfare in behalf of God’s people. Revelation 12:7 describes the war between the archangel Michael and Satan, the great and evil dragon. An angel helped to turn Assyria back from conquering Judah in the days of King Hezekiah (2 Chron. 32:20–23). In addition, angels play an important role in worship in Scripture.] Ligonier.org

BTW, that prayer, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven", means just that. It hasn't happened yet _ ON EARTH. This will happen after the Great Tribulation, it's called the Millennial Kingdom

You are right - in that it is not both - meaning that Jesus is the Word who was made flesh - although 'took on flesh' is a better way of putting it. Yet Jesus is not the Scriptures!!!

The Greek word for translated scriptures is graphe - and that is never translated as "Word" in your Bible!

However - The Scriptures were written by men who were inspired by God to write. Some of the words in the Bible are actually quotes from Jesus the Christ, who is the Word of God but the sacred writings were actually written by men! You want proof?

Jn 5:46,47 In the Bible we find a record of Jesus saying:

“For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me.
“But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

SO YOU CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!!! EITHER THE SCRIPTURES ARE CORRECT AND PROVE THE MOSES DID THE WRITING, AND THAT IF YOU DO NOT EVEN BELIEVE WHAT MOSES WROTE THEN HOW ARE YOU GOING TO BELIEVE THE WORDS OF JESUS CHRIST??

Isaiah also explained and prophesied about this problem!

Isaiah explained after listening to the Word of God (the Christ) himself what he heard. And that was about how if you don't listen, then the orderly line upon lines that you read alittle here and there will become the word of God to you, as opposed to actually hearing Him whose name is called the Word of God because like Isaiah, you too can get to know Him, the person, Jesus Christ. And that happens so that you will be fall backwards, be snared, and taken captive!!

Is 28:10 He who said to them, “Here is rest, give rest to the weary,”
And, “Here is repose,” but they would not listen.
So the word of the LORD to them will be,
“Order on order, order on order,
Line on line, line on line,
A little here, a little there,”
That they may go and stumble backward, be broken, snared and taken captive.

But as for this thread about angels. The angels that serve the Lord and not the only spirits around. There are those who when you stumble and fall away from actually listening to the Lord our God, and start leaning on your own understanding, will swoop in snare you, and you will be taken captive!! Therefore seek first the Kingdom of God - meaning the King of kings and those heavenly beings that serve Him. They will protect you from all that - but not if you go back to leaning on your own understandings!

Ps 91: 11-13 For you have made the LORD, my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place.
No evil will befall you,
Nor will any plague come near your tent.
For He will give His angels charge concerning you,
To guard you in all your ways.

Note that is does not say the Scriptures are you refuge!! There is One, a person, the Son of the Most High, that we can hear from, and He will send angels and charge even them concerning you - To guard you in all your ways!! That that One has a name - His name is called the Word of God, because His sheep hear His voice - not read His voice but hear His voice!!!

So who do you not understand this???? He is not the sacred writings!! He is the Lord, our Lord if we indeed hear His voice and do what He asks!! And then you will see the angels of heaven coming and going on what He says!!

I like this thread and the honest questions @Bob Estey is asking. The nature of angels (and demons) is perhaps one of the most mystical and misunderstood aspects of modern Christianity. Many people speak about concepts like ‘spiritual warfare’ with considering what, or where the battlefield is. You are the soil upon which blood is spilled.
