That's interesting. I think I have met some.
What is it about "a Born Again" believer that would prevent them from staying trapped in a religious mindset?
We might differ in our definition of what a religious mindset is?
From my own understanding, the Holy Spirit is in us,..therefore we have a living relationship with God.
He is the one imo, who grows and matures us in Christ..it’s like Gods living water feeds our spirit.
It’s hard to explain, then there is the renewing of our minds.....I just stay focused on God through the Holy Spirit..I believe I am fully surrendering and letting him have his way.
Then there is the working out of our salvation.

For this to happen, God needs our cooperation with His grace, thus we need to “work out our own salvation.” We do this by reading the Bible, praying, loving the Lord, following the Lord's speaking within us, giving Christ the first place in our lives, denying our self, and fellowshipping with other believers.
My words.
This flesh is tiresome and a burden..sorry, that’s the only way I can explain it.
I see lots of "Born Again" believers kneeling at the altars of the false gods of apologetics and Bibliolatry.
Wouldn't you consider that to be a religious mindset?
How would you know they are Born Again?...no more than you could possibly know that I’m Born Again..only God knows that.
Many others trot off to church regularly (as do I) and think that saves them somehow. (not as I do)
They believe that if they left the church, they would be damned for not "enduring to the end."
That’s religious thinking is it not?
