The way you describe it.
Does the Bible tell us to focus on what we don't believe,
or what we know to be true and righteous:
Philippians 4:8 King James Version (KJV) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Does the Bible instruct us to pray in agreement on God's truth
or focus on division and conflict and trespasses?
Matthew 18:15-20
19 Again I say to you, if two of you
uagree on earth about anything they ask,
vit will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
If you have a rebuke for Universalists who are teaching too lax or conflicting the meaning of Jesus,
I am happy to unite with you to offer a correction to UU to resolve this problem.
We do not resolve it by condemning whole groups,
but we follow Matthew and address IN PRIVATE each person with whom we wish to offer correction.
If needed, we consult with 2-3 witnesses to reconcile in truth with that person.
Most people fail this process by giving up and skipping to "telling" (or yelling) it unto the church in public.
That is skipping the step of asking pastoral or prayer support to bring witnesses to THAT PERSON.
Which person do you wish to address? And I'll help you.
