Well, it's funny that the "born again" Protestant is supposedly led by the Spirit through Scripture, yet disagrees with all the early church on doctrinal matters. I guess you were the first in history to be led by the Spirit.

So, all of Christian history, until the Protestant Reformation, they all had carnal minds, and didn't understand spiritual things, but, then, by a singular grace, Martin Luther was given the grace to believe the anti Scriptural doctrine of "faith alone" whereby you make no sense of Scripture, so that you can believe in total nonsense, because you're "spiritual". After the milk however one must at some point move into partaking of the meat of the word. Otherwise we are stunted and disabled in growing in the power & grace of God.

sorry, But Paul taught a new believer will change,, James agreed by calling out those who claimed to be believers but did nto change were fake believers.

Paul taught what Jesus did, that we will never perish but we will live forever.
