The very first sin was NOT by Adam and Eve.
The ORIGINAL first sin was done by Satan himself in the 1st world earth age.
Per God's parable in the Ezekiel 28 chapter, He showed that He originally created Satan "perfect in thy ways", until iniquity was found in him, meaning, Satan rebelled in coveting God's Throne for himself.
In case some do not know what that word 'covet' means, it means to desire and steal.
It was Satan's job originally as the "anointed cherub that covereth" to guard God's Throne. Satan instead rebelled and coveted God's Throne, and claimed per Isaiah 14 that he would even sit in that throne ("sides of the north" is God's Place).
Per Apostle John in 1 John 3:8, Satan sinned from the beginning, and for this purpose Christ was manifested, so as to destroy the works of the devil.
The Catholic Church has instead made their own doctrine about the idea of 'original sin', which they say is about Adam and Eve's sin, which was the first sin in the flesh, but not... the original first sin. Latching onto their doctrine about the first sin will not show you what 'really'... happened with the very first sin, by Satan, in the old world, before Adam and Eve.
Why is understanding about Satan being the actual first one to commit sin against God so important? It is because God is going to allow Satan to come to earth, in our earthly dimension, at the very end of this present world, and exalt himself in place of God one more time. That is actually what the coming "great tribulation" will be about, Satan coming to earth with the image of man playing The Lord Jesus Christ, working great signs and miracles in the sight of men. It will prune many who instead listen to men's doctrines instead of God in His written Word.
