LDS teachings are funny to me. I am laughing at them not you. Sorry you feel hurt friend.
Should I laugh your beliefs and behaviors that I find laughably false? Is that how a friend should be treated?

I’d rather love my neighbor and treat them with respect, even when we disagree.

following links and using critical thinking is great.
If you’re willing to put the time and thought into asking your own question, I’m happy to answer.

No to the mindless copy paste spam. You cannot copy paste your way to Heaven. Faith must be your OWN. Your OWN relationship with Christ. You OWN love and words. Not someone else’s.

2 Thessalonians 2:3
Let not any one deceive you in any manner, because [it will not be] unless the apostasy have first come, and the man of sin have been revealed, the son of perdition;

ERV
Don’t be fooled by anything they might say. That day of the Lord will not come until the turning away from God happens. And that day will not come until the Man of Evil appears, the one who belongs to hell.

EXB
Do not let anyone ·fool [deceive] you in any way. That day of the Lord [v. 2] will not come until the ·turning away from God [great rebellion; apostasy; Matt. 24:11–12; 1 Tim. 4:1; 2 Tim. 3:1–5; 2 Pet. 2:3; Jude 18] happens and the Man of ·Evil [Wickedness; L Lawlessness; C probably the Antichrist; 1 John 2:18; Rev. 13], ·who is on his way to hell [L the son of destruction; John 17:12], appears.

PHILLIPS
Now we do implore you, by the very certainty of Christ’s coming and of our meeting him together, to keep your heads and not be thrown off balance by any prediction or message or letter purporting to come from us, and saying that the day of Christ is almost here. Don’t let anyone deceive you by any means whatsoever. That day will not come before there arises a definite rejection of God and the appearance of the lawless man. He is the product of all that leads to death, and he sets himself up in opposition to every religion. He himself takes his seat in the temple of God, to show that he really claims to be God.

ME: I know Paul is talking about the coming of the antichrist. AS you can see from Bible dictionaries, I am correct that the Anti-Christ comes just before the Great Total falling away aka Apostasy.

When do you think the great apostacy will happen?
a hint . LOOK AROUND , its all over the place and it calls itself LOVE LOVE LOVE . ITS HERE and its infecting the entire realm
of christendom into total denial that one must even HAVE to believe on JESUS CHRIST .
ITS HERE . the true gospel is being fled from likes its hate speech as they embrace this HUGE BROAD UNIVERSAL LOVE TRAIN
of many paths to GOD . That train ends in perditoin . The love religoin that will unite the faiths and religoins
IS HERE . and it GROWS daily .
So i suppose the answer to you question should be , WHEN IS THIS GONNA BE ENDED .
ON the day of the LORD and BY THE LORD it will come to its end . THAT DAY draws nigh indeed .
The love religoin to unite the world for peace and safety , the apostacy rages on to the full .
OH , wait i just remembered something , about the TIME they are saying PEACE and SAFETY , KABOOM SUDDEN destruction cometh .
yeah , i say we getting real close now .

Agan why reinvent the wheel?
Because you can't copy paste you way to Heaven. Got to have your OWN relationship with Christ.
Do you believe people will become gods at the resurrection? exhaulted in lds langage.
A person becomes clean, perfected, even as the Father is (see the Sermon on the Mount and John 17). We become one with God, joint-heirs with Christ. Never replacing your Father- He's always going to be your Father.

Like the Apostles of the NT, do you believe the Bible is the ONLY authoritive Source for Truth?
GOD is the only source of Truth. The Apostles did not teach that the Bible was the only source of Truth, it wasn't even compiled until centuries later and different denominations this day include different books.

Sola scriptura rejects any original infallible authority, other than the Bible. In this view, all secondary authority is derived from the authority of the scriptures and is therefore subject to reform when compared to the teaching of the Bible.

Me: referring to the Bible:

2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Proverbs 30:5-6 ESV
Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar

Many other verses here: What Does the Bible Say About Sola Scriptura?

ME: God inspired the books of the Bible, thus they are his word and supreme authority for salvation and santification. Since JS gave at leaste one false prophecy he is disqualified as representing the real true G_d.

Me: The Bible was the supreme authority!!!!! Yes, the canon was defined finally around 399 AD The books which are authoritive were used in the Churches. The “rule of faith” is authoritative for what is true doctrine. Apostolic Tradition comes from the Apostles and Church Fathers. The Church has an interpretive authority.

Joseph Smith ain’t my Savior.

If you want to declare me damned for believe God’s Truth are not limited to the 66-81 book Bible, then you can do that. Has zero effect on me.
