I've tangled with many people like that, but they were not Southern Baptists, but Southern Methodists, who many believed that water baptism was the same as the Holy Ghost baptism. I've read their literature that said the same thing. I am aware of cults that use the same language as a Christian to sound like one. Their definition isn't same.
