That's a horrible thought. Poor souls.I don't know that it's about hating God. There are people out there who hate themself. They would be happy to be condemned because they feel they deserve it.

It's not a secular graph. - LOL

Here's background info on the Joshua Project. Its nonsense.
So, just go with that...
LOLSometimes you might consider thinking about what you are posting.....but on the other hand you are the "ace" who posted a Thread asking if the word of God, floats like soap.
As do your responses. - LOLSo, this type of behavior.......explains and reveals a lot abour your personal character..... @St. SteVen
How are your post ratings on my topics?
St. SteVen said:
Anyone who claims to hate God haven't met Him yet.
I was referring to humans that have not yet met God.
As far as I know, Lucifer has not yet been offered forgiveness.
But I think that will happen at the end of the age of restoration. IMHO
The ultimate triumph of grace. --- So, not a moot point.

UR is like starting over with a whole new set of rules.I really want to give UR a fair hearing in my own mind, but I keep running into walls that I don't know how to get around/over.
Before, when we've discussed this, you've basically just told me I have to rely on faith that seems blind to me.
I haven't thrown the Bible away. I just view it differently. The hardest part for me is that if your view of the reliability of Scripture is such as you exhibit, how can you be so sure that the portions you rely on to support UR are reliable?
In the end, it looks like you're just another one of us religious slobs who don't agree with each other. But, then, maybe that's precisely your point?
LOLAdmittedly, as much as I have enjoyed our fellowship, your tendency toward religious deconstructionism (for lack of a better term) is completely foreign to my cognitive abilities.
In other words, I love you but you drive me nuts.![]()
They do me a great service with their lame responses.Boy, you can say that again.
I wonder what these folks would be doing if they didn't have some character to assassinate somewhere.
How exhausting.
I guess it's served its purpose. I think it definitely informs my decision about whether to participate. I put these folks on -Ignore- often enough but sooner or later something compels me to take them off again. And then I quickly find myself wondering why.![]()
Must have hit a nerve. - LOLI dont notice.
Im not here to collect "likes"........
Must have hit a nerve. - LOL
The nerve of me.
I don't know about you, but I grew up in a church that taught that EVERYBODY deserved an eternity of damnation. "All have sinned" and all that. That's a horrible thought. Poor souls.![]()

I think God is always exactly in the same place, and it falls on us to go TO Him. The parable of the Prodigal Son frames it that way, and there's this...Agree.
I think the person that shakes a fist at God is daring Him to show Himself.
If He actually did, that would have a dramatic change in the situation.
Like a father finding his runaway child huddled in the corner of an alley, cold and hungry.

That saw cuts both ways. Those teaching eternal security are mocking God
On the other hand we have the Good Shepherd that leaves the ninety-nine to go after the one and bring them back.I think God is always exactly in the same place, and it falls on us to go TO Him. The parable of the Prodigal Son frames it that way, and there's this...
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. (James 4:8)
