To believe in once saved always saved one must change how Gal 6:7,8 reads to:

God CAN be mocked, we we sow is NOT what we reap, if one sows to the flesh they shall NOT reap corruption, and if one sows to the Spirit they shall NOT real life.

In retrospect, that doesn't seem like the healthiest worldview, whether it's true or not. Loving oneself seems to be a pre-requisite for loving anyone or anything else, and heaping guilt on ourselves undermines that.

Absolutely agree. We are a temple when the Holy Spirit is in us. So,I can't imagine hating ourselves when we first know that.

I also don't believe we suffer for eternity.

Because God said otherwise of himself and his heart for humanity.

When a Christians error4s from the truth, they have turned away from the Lord and have become sinners once again and they are no longer in right standing with the Lord until they turn away from their sin and confess their sin to the Lord so they can have mercy

Proverbs 28:13 - He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.

There's no mercy for those that do not confess and turn away from their sin because God is not mocked what we sow is what we reap and if we sow to the flesh we shall of the flesh reap corruption (Gal 6:7,8)

Those teaching eternal security are mocking God

Which in truth cannot be Salvation at all . You aren't saved from something if you can fall back into loss.

So, notice this part of the verse you posted........."You shall never perish"......

This is a statement of Fact, given by the Lord Himself,... that is Jesus explaining that there is no 2nd Death for the born again, because all the born again have "passed from DEATH....to LIFE"... (eternal life).........As only the unsaved, who are still under God's wrath,...(John 3:36),.... will "PERISH".., and that means WHERE this will happen to them after they die.

So, the unsaved "perish" by going to Hell and then the Lake of Fire as that is their ""2nd death".......and that is how they "perish"

Whereas the CHRISTian, who is born again as "one With God", will never go to HELL, = will never = "perish".

"I give unto you eternal life, and you shall never PERISH"..
