”God is love.”

(1 John 4:8)

Man rebels against God and then asks: “If there is a God, why does he allow rebellion?”

It’s a question about love. God’s love.

“There is no God” is the cry of a child who knows no Father.

Suffering is strictly an internal thing related to pain. Some people "suffer" because of the pain of losing a loved one and other people "suffer" because of the pain of losing internet connectivity. Suffering is the reaction we have to whatever pain we experience. being rooted in Christ doesn't reduce pain but it can reduce suffering.

As to evil it's like the cold, it doesn't exist except in the absence of heat. Evil exist only in the absence of good. A thermometer measures only the relative presence of heat because there is no cold to measure.
