That's good.
You're on the right track. IMHO
Rather than buy into a set of apologetics from the church to call your"beliefs",
you are more concerned about your relationship with God.

Sometimes we may add our own will on the will of God and thinking it is "the will of God",
But it is still my will not the will of God.
Just as the truth of loving someone is to understand him / her, so is loving God, and this is the right relationship we should have with God.
Reading the Bible is trying to understand the will of God, not trying to understand my will, If interpret the words of the Bible in terms of my will, the results can be devastating.
As the word, love God with all our hearts and minds, not love myself with all my heart and mind.

If salvation is based on belief, then we had better know what it means.
If salvation is NOT based on belief, then it matters less.

Its very simple my friend .
Who do we BELIEVE . is it men who twisted His words
or is it simply the truth of His words we beleive .
And lip service means nothing when we profess to Believe
and yet follow another image of said GOD and of SAID CHRIST .
Go to and behold the wilderness and see WHY They were not allowed access into the land
And you will see , ITS NOT because they said with their lips , OH WE DONT BELEIVE IN GOD .
NO that they did not say . IN fact they claimed to beleive in HIM .
BUT darn sure didnt seem to BELIEVE HIS WORDS . what we truly Beleive
WHO we t ruly beelive Is who we follow , who we obey . B eware of the f lesh for many does it rule over
in christendom . As they heed a spirit , a god , and even another jesus
that sure seems to feed that flesh of theirs .
But then yo u know why i didnt capitlize that god , that spirit , or that jesus . The devil is slick indeed .
He knows how to seduce and to allure and he d oes so through the carnal flesh of man .
But the sheep , HEED HIM NOT .

TO TESTIFY OF THE TRUTH , all that of the truth HEAR ME .
So rather than trying t otwist scrips and omit scrips and follow men and tho ughts
WE need rather to do an entrodus back into that bible to learn for ourselves .
