Christians are not safe either.

Born again Chrstians are saved from God's Judgement.
This means they are saved from ending up in Hell.

They are not initially saved from temptation or the course of this world.
They may become a victim of a cult theology.
So, they have to learn how not to become one of those., and this is one of the main reasons that God sends Teachers to the Body of Christ.

I don't expect any miraculous healings from him, so I wouldn't be saved even if I confessed.

Faith is both Trust and expectation.
The reason we know that we can Trust God, is because He raised Jesus from the Dead.
The reason we can know that God loves us and wants the best for us, is because He sent His Son to die for our sin, so that we may be forgiven and become a part of God's eternal Family.
And by becoming God's "Son/Daugher" we now have access to all that God is, all that God has, and all that God can do.
Whereas the unbeliever has no access to God, and has no Hope in this world.... none,. .. zero.
They are at the mercy of the devil, who shows no mercy..... and they are also at the mercy of their own confused mind.

‘I asked if you believe we must confess Jesus as Lord to be saved?

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

If you are saved you will confess Him as Lord.

Thats completely backwards from what the scripture teaches.

In the real world... with real Preaches like me.....
We dont ask anyone to confess, until they have believed in Christ.

See, the verse is written as if you confess BEFORE you believe.., and you are not realizing this, yet.

Now can you confess that you've believed in Christ......sure, and you should.

But the way it works is........ Someone is given the Gospel to BELIEVE, and they Believe it, and then they confess Christ after they have believed.

"Faith comes by HEARING"....the Gospel......FIRST, and then after they have BELIEVED, they are to CONFESS their Faith in Christ.

Understand?

"L" ords.
Also written to the Romans and people who needed miracles.

And you forgot the second part. "and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Morely, ὁμολογήσῃς means thou wast repeating. Jesus is still the lord, but nothing says he is most high here.

I understand you are teaching an unbiblical doctrine.

Only people who hear and believe (obey) the Gospel are saved.

No one is saved before they hear and believe (obey) the Gospel.

  • if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
  • and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
  • whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13

Romans 7, is not Christianity.......Romans 7, is the beginning of Paul's teaching where He is showing you that if you try to live a holy life by striving against sin, then the Law becomes this in your case.. = "The power of sin, is the Law".
"The Law" is representing self effort to try to DO Christianity, and this cant be done, as Christianity is Spiritual, and is empowered spiritually, by God's GRACE = only.

There above is proof of what I said about your lack of understanding God's Plan of Salvation. The Book of Romans and Galatians are the foundation Books of Christianity. But you say Romans 7 is NOT Christianity? That only reveals how you have been wrongly taught to CHOP UP The Word of God to fit MAN'S RELIGION and FALSE TRADITIONS instead of staying with The Bible as written.

Apostle Paul in Romans 7 is ADMITTING why... all born in the flesh NEED saving by Lord Jesus Christ Who had NO SIN. Paul showed that it is impossible... for anyone else other than Christ born in the flesh to be without sin. Only Jesus's Sacrifice can save us, is what Paul was teaching there in Romans 7, and that's NOT Christianity per your understanding?? Your understanding is obviously whacked.

"repent and be water baptized for remission of sin"........Is not Paul's Gospel.

Its John the Baptist's Gospel, given to Jews before Christ showed up......and Peter used it in Acts 2, because the Church was just beginning and that is all he knew at that time.

Paul never preaches, "repent and be water baptized" and in fact teaches that "Christ sent me NOT to water Baptize".

Water Baptism, in Jesus's name or any other name, does not save you, and can't wash away your sin.

HELL is filled and continues to fill with water baptized religious people who were never born again.

The only way to become forgiven is to give God your FAITH in CHRIST and God will accept you, based on "Justificaton by Faith" and God will use the Blood of Jesus to forgive your sin, and then God will give you the new birth......which is to be born again "IN CHRIST".

Once you are born again, then go and get water baptized.

BEWARE BRETHREN:

Those ideas are FALSE and truly whacked from men's doctrines. I'd say those ideas originate from the Hyper-Grace movement which supports the false OSAS notions from men.

Man's false Hyper-Grace, or Hyper-Dispensationalist movement, tries to ISOLATE Apostle Paul's Epistles from the rest of The Bible. So those on that false doctrine always try to separate the idea of like Peter preaching The Gospel to Gentiles in Acts 10 (and Acts 2 on Pentecost) from what Paul taught, when BOTH taught the SAME Gospel of Jesus Christ to Gentiles and to Israelites.

I understand you are teaching an unbiblical doctrine.

Y0u understand nothing but your own opinions.

Only people who hear and believe (obey) the Gospel are saved.

Yet you just posted that you have to "confess with your mouth"

So, you keep chaning your position, because you dont have anything solid and sure.

No one is saved before they hear and believe (obey) the Gospel.

Yes, thats what i told you 3x, after you kept telling the members here they have to confess to be saved.

Glad you are now agreeing that you have to BELIEVE IN JESUS, before you confess.

. But you say Romans 7 is NOT Christianity?

What i posted many times to many heretics, is that this part of Romans 7, is not Chrtistianity..

= "that which i hate i do and that which i want to do i cant'.

See that?

That is not Christianity......that is a person's CARNAL struggle to try to be righteous, by works, and that puts them under the law, which causes their sin consciousness to rule them........and they have a struggle with their own flesh and can't overcome it.

Try to understand @Davy .....,= Christianity is about overcoming, ......its about VICTORY over sin......not living in it so that you can keep confessing it as the heretics teach.

Paul ended his teaching with.....>"Christ always Gives me the VICTORY">. over sin, the flesh, the world and the devil.

See that? = THAT is Christianity......Its VICTORY........its Deliverance........its POWER its Freedom......its to be "made rightesous" and exist as "made free from sin".

One of the results of Salvation is that the born again are saved from going to Hell.
The result of salvation is you are rescued from danger to your physical health, and this can be rapture. Does God wake the dead or rescue the dead? Rescuing the dead is a contradiction; but waking the dead is not, and none of us are woke from the dead, lest they die reading this.

Your post proves that you have no understanding of real life.

Listen, Every Christian gets sick, and every Christian is going to die, unless we are Raptured while we are alive.

No Christian is "saved from this"... @MonoBiblical

Salvation does not "save your health", and it does not save your Body.

I'll prove it to you.
They are going to bury you, or cremate you, because you eventually died.
Hebrews 9:27 is coming for YOU.
Be ready.
And, 99% of the time, this is because you got sick and didnt recover, and died.
