JESUS never went around trying to find common ground and unity
NOR did the apostels . THEY PREACHED JESUS . THIS DID cause divsions , this did cause
seperation , NOT UNITY WITH THE WORLD . as it darn sure appears you are all about .
You do realize there is the PEACE OF GOD , but also the peace of anti christ and of the world .
THE PEACE OF GOD focuses ON PREACHING JESUS and all HE did teach and later the apostles did
and the sheep WILL UNIFY UNDER THIS
but alas many preach the wrong peace . many preach this peace
AND BY PEACE SHALL HE DESTROY MANY . anti christ peace . HE is the one who cometh TO UNFIY THE WORLD
to make all religoins and all tribes as one people . You need to flee this and fast .

I'm not interested in false unity. That is unity through any cause, belief, or spirit that is not of God. And I am one who believes that there is a spirit behind every cause and belief. Be that spirit from demons and thus evil, or from God and Good.

So what we need is unity with the Spirit of God. How do we do this? You are a servant to the one you obey. And if you love Jesus you will follow his commandments. There is much depth to his commandments. Do you see self-sacrificial love that is in the first commandment? Cloquially known as a living sacrifice. This is a form of worship. We are to worship the Lord our God in Spirit and in Truth. And so also the first commandment is shown to require being truthful. There can be no unity between light and darkness.

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The unity that st steven preaches came of the RCC .
and it has grown massive amongst even the protestants
and even the false religoins . Folks dont care what one believes , they only care that we have unity
and that unity IS and has come from The RCC to unify the tribes of man to work as one
for a common goal . I have seen what them key leaders teach and its all bad news . They lie to the false relgions
and they lie to us . This is all about a merger , a unity and its of the world , NOT GOD .

The true sheep already have unity . THIS UNITY i speak of cometh OF GOD .
and it is a unity that will never COMPROMISE HIS WORDS , The GOSPEL .
Even lambs who have never met one another already have this unity .
But as you already know , there is always a version of any word , such as unity , or even love
That satan uses . ANd always he uses twisted scrips to teach it . always using scrips to do one thing
To beleive a lie . that is how satan has always worked .
Even in the garden the serpent used a truth , for he said the very same thing GOD laters says

Just to be clear, I do not seek Christian doctrinal unity. Defined as EVERYONE surrendering to a predetermined set of beliefs.
I believe that unity comes when we accept each other no matter our differences.
That we seek to understand each other instead of rejecting those whose Christian doctrine may differ.
Which presents its own set of challenges, of course. But that's another topic. (I hope) - LOL

That's a fine opinion, but for unity you need universal buy-in.

You dont need a """buy in"

All that is necessary for "unity" is to understand what isn't true, as this reveals clearly what is to be believed, and who is to be avoided.
So, you have to find out how to locate the theologically false, which then reveals the Theologically True, and then unity is easily found.

The issue is......when you have people who are long term, deceived........they are not going to give up their deception.

An example.
You have some JW's and some Universalists on this forum, who will bleed from their eyes, before they will be able to escape their cult mindset.
And that is just a small percentage of the cult belief systems you find on this Forum, and all of them.
Fourms are a mess because they are allowed to house and support so much false theology.........and that ruins them, and keeps them ruined.
Imagine having people on a "christian" forum who are not even born again.. claiming they are a christian..... who are "teaching the bible".
Welcome to this Christian forum....and why its always a bad situation.
And its no different in Pulpits, and in commentaries..
So, you always have a lot of those Dark Lights contesting truth, and causing strife, and keeping the confusion ramped up = at 100%.

SO here is what i say to compromise . NO DEAL . Wont be done on this sheeps watch . HOPE you say the same my friend .
WE dont compromise the HOLY words OF THE LORD . we simply love and embrace and beleive the TRUTH .
Now mount up and put on the battle boots and strap on all armour
cause the hour is late and its time to do what we can while we can , in hopes that at least some will hear and repent and believe
