For some reason they think some people will still be around to see that they were right.
Wrong again.
Good point. They certainly can't ever be right if they think it will happen before "the tribulation of those days" since it will clearly happen "after the tribulation of those days" instead at which point "heaven and earth shall pass away" and the eternal new heavens and new earth will be ushered in.

Yes, it will be final judgment. Time to completely repent and time to completely receive the Holy Spirit .

The resurrection is are blessed hope. Faith overcomes fear. You should be certain about your salvation. Jesus promised if you believe in Him, you are saved. Not maybe if you do this or that. It is not based on our works/ merit.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast". Eph..2:8-9
I made peace with it long ago

When one false prediction fails, more false prophets rise up with new dates. First it was September 23, 2025 for the rapture — now they’re claiming October 6 at the full harvest moon. Scripture warns us about this: ‘But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only’ (Matthew 24:36). These date-setters are deceiving many, but God’s Word remains true.

Anyone prophesying last days events by picking dates based on moons and the like are just as bad as the pagans and witches.
I don't see any difference between either types of people.
They are no better than astrologers.

Ancient people used to worship the sun, moon, stars and use them to make predictions, little has changed today.

1 John 4:1 ESV

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Deuteronomy 4
19 And take heed, lest you lift your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun, the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, you feel driven to worship them and serve them, which the Lord your God has [f]given to all the peoples under the whole heaven as a heritage.

Deuteronomy 18
9 “When you come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the [d]abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass[e] through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12 For all who do these things are [f]an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you. 13 You shall be [g]blameless before the Lord your God. 14 For these nations which you will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; but as for you, the Lord your God has not [h]appointed such for you.

15 “The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear, 16 according to all you desired of the Lord your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God, nor let me see this great fire anymore, lest I die.’

17 “And the Lord said to me: ‘What they have spoken is good. 18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.

20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’

21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’—

22
when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.

Leviticus 19:26 ESV

“You shall not eat any flesh with the blood in it. You shall not interpret omens or tell fortunes.

1 Samuel 15:23 ESV

For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and presumption is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has also rejected you from being king.”

Diviners

Diviners in the Bible are those who seek to predict the future or uncover hidden knowledge through supernatural means, often in ways contrary to God's commands. The practice of divination is explicitly condemned in Scripture. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12 , God warns the Israelites: "Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, practices divination or conjury, interprets omens, practices sorcery, casts spells, consults a medium or spiritist, or inquires of the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD."

Divination is associated with pagan practices and is seen as an attempt to gain knowledge or power apart from God. The account of King Saul consulting the witch of Endor (1 Samuel 28) serves as a cautionary tale of the consequences of seeking guidance outside of God's provision.

Dreamers

Dreamers, in the biblical sense, are those who receive messages or visions from God through dreams. While dreams can be a legitimate means of divine communication, as seen in the lives of Joseph (Genesis 37) and Daniel (Daniel 2), not all dreams are from God. The Bible warns against false dreamers who lead people astray with deceptive visions.

Jeremiah 23:32 states, "Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams, declares the LORD. They tell them and lead My people astray with their reckless lies, when I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least, declares the LORD." Discernment is necessary to distinguish between true and false messages received through dreams.

Soothsayers

Soothsayers are individuals who claim to foretell the future or reveal hidden truths, often through occult practices. Like diviners, soothsayers are condemned in Scripture as they rely on sources of power and knowledge outside of God. The practice is associated with idolatry and rebellion against God's authority.

In Isaiah 2:6 , the prophet laments, "For You have abandoned Your people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled with influences from the east; they are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they clasp hands with the children of foreigners." The reliance on soothsayers is portrayed as a departure from faithfulness to God.

Sorcerers

Sorcerers, or those who practice sorcery, are individuals who use magic or witchcraft to manipulate events or people. The Bible consistently condemns sorcery as an abomination. In the New Testament, sorcery is listed among the works of the flesh that are contrary to the Spirit (Galatians 5:19-21).

The account of Simon the Sorcerer in Acts 8 illustrates the incompatibility of sorcery with the Christian faith. Simon, who had amazed the people of Samaria with his magic, sought to buy the power of the Holy Spirit, prompting Peter's stern rebuke: "May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!" (Acts 8:20).

Throughout Scripture, the consistent message is that reliance on God and His revelation is paramount, and practices such as divination, soothsaying, and sorcery are to be rejected as they lead people away from the truth and into spiritual deception.

An omen is a sign with prophetic significance that portends an exceptionally notable or disastrous event. Natural phenomena, strange birth defects, or animals acting in unexplainable ways are all commonly seen as omens. Omens can be good or evil, that is, they can foretell a good, positive event or an evil, harmful one. The superstitious might consider finding a heads-up penny a good omen but see a black cat crossing their path as a bad omen.

Omens are closely tied with fortune-telling and divination, as the omen must be “read” or “divined” by someone who knows how. Throughout the ancient world, omens (also referred to as signs and portents) were believed, divined, and obeyed. For example, in ancient Assyria if the king received an evil omen, he would go into hiding and the Assyrians would place a decoy king on the throne in anticipation that the evil event would befall the false king instead of the true one.

Signs sometimes occurred in the Bible in association with prophecies from God. Isaiah the prophet said that he and his children were “signs and symbols” to Israel (Isaiah 8:18). The names of Isaiah’s children were meaningful to Israel’s future (see Isaiah 8:1–4). Also, God made Isaiah walk naked and barefoot as “a sign and omen against Egypt and Cush” (Isaiah 20:3, NET). In this case, God placed Isaiah’s nakedness in the sight of those doomed lands as a sign to them about their destruction. Another divine prophecy accompanied by a sign in the book of Isaiah is the backwards movement of the shadow on the sundial (Isaiah 38:7–8). These events—these “omens”—were clear confirmations of God’s plan.

Another example of a sign or “omen” happened before the exodus. God sent Moses to Pharaoh with a sign: when Moses threw his staff down, God turned it into a serpent. This miracle was specifically designed to convince those who did not believe (Exodus 4:1–5). The presence of a snake in the royal court should also have been a sign to Pharaoh of the plagues to come, but he failed to heed the omen. Another person who tragically failed to heed a divine omen was Pontius Pilate. During Jesus’ trial, Pilate’s wife sent him an urgent message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him” (Matthew 27:19).

These portents occurred in the Bible, usually through God’s prophets, when it served God’s purpose. However, the Bible expressly forbids divination of any kind: “Let no one be found among you who . . . interprets omens. . . . Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord” (Deuteronomy 18:10–12). We do not live by superstition, and we should not be searching for good or evil omens. Our understanding of the spiritual world does not come through the occult. God has given us the ultimate sign of His goodness, love, and grace in Jesus Christ (1 John 4:9). The Bible is our source for spiritual insight (2 Peter 1:19–21).

To All,

This is not a desperate move to rekindle life from Joshua's prediction that most of you believe now was false. But what if as Dave Watchmam's recent video revealed, new evidence to his case may just put a wedge in the door before it's closed?
1. During Jesus time, they operated on the Julian calendar which is 13 days behind the Gregorian calendar ( created in the 16th century). Many Eastern Orthodox churches still used the Julian calendar up until 1929, when it was revised to align with the Gregorian calendar.
2. According to Psalm 81:3, it appears that the new moon is a full moon and not a sliver as the Jews base their entire calendar on. Interpretations of that verse vary. Some add the word and as ifbthe verse says new moon and full moon. But it is talking about one day so it cannot be two different days. If this is true, their Sabbaths and Feast have been backwards. It sounds so absurd, I know. How could they err in such a way?
Well they erred about recognizing their Messiah. They do not possess the Holy Spirit and so their entire ability to discern scripture has been dysfunctional for a long time. They are blind still. If this is really true God has punished them in more ways than just mere blindness. He let them continue to believe they were actually doing something meaningful, living obediently, trying to keep the Law, observing Feasts and Sabbaths ... buy all on the wrong days. A movie can be written about this.
3. So if we use the ancient Julian Calendar, September 23 will happen on October 7. Their will be not only a full moon at 6:47 Am in Jerusalem, but it will be a Harvest moon and also a Super moon.
Again, I am just putting this out there for a response. Most of you will think it absurd and dismiss it, make folly ... don't care either way. But how could millions of scholars _ Jews and Christians _ for centuries _ miss this? I mean to most of us it doesn't really matter what day it is, just need a weekly, monthly and annual calendar to have some order ... and who cares when they made it long ago ... we live by it ...bla, bla, bla. But really, what if Jesus gave Joshua that date based on the same Julian Calendar?

A confession ... I am an "Amillenial". However, it is not a hill that I intend to die on or that I find worth fighting over (I just see too much of Revelation as symbolic imagery to pluck parts out and claim "this is 100% literal").

That said, I would like to offer some [hopefully respectful] observations on End Time events (Jesus was clear that He would return) and the Bible.
  • Jesus said nobody knew the day and the hour (even him).
  • Jesus said it would come "like a thief in the night" ... when least expected.
  • Jesus told a story about keeping oil in lamps and wicks trimmed to be ready at any time.
It seems to me that the point of the Rapture/return is that WHEN is unimportant to us. It is enough that the GROOM will return for His BRIDE ... so we have courage and hope every day that we are one day closer to "THE DAY". God has not called us to a "countdown" to his return.
  1. We don't need to coast because the end is close and there is no time left.
  2. We don't need to be lazy because we have lots of time before He returns.
  3. We don't need to make a frantic effort to catch up because the end is near and we have been poor stewards.
The best we should hope for would be Jesus to return and find us working faithfully just like any other day ... laboring for Him ... steady, faithful, measured ... in it for the long haul. Whether He returns TODAY or in another 1000 years matters not, we would be doing the same thing in either case. Walking in the good works that God has ordained we should walk in.+

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10

My hope would be that when the time comes, an angel taps me on the shoulder to announce "it is time" because I was so focused that I didn't even notice it had started ... I just pray that I am not embarrassed by what I am doing at that moment. [I have my good and bad moments].

You really don't get it do you? You're digging a deeper hole for yourself. This shows that you want to believe this nonsense. You're living in denial. Your doctrine is wrong and these false prophets are wrong.

The sad thing is: no Pretribber will take ownership for this and repent. This whole affair is delusional. It is harmful to the Gospel witness. No wonder the world laughs. No wonder Posttribbers do not take Pretribbers serious.

The body of Christ is not on a timeline for a rapture or a specific event. It's independent of Mosaic Law of feasts, which Jesus did away with. The rapture is at any time, that's why Jesus said to "watch". Matthew 24:42 - Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
