In Christianity, it is a form of Christian universalism that includes the ultimate salvation of everyone.

If your sins are forgiven on Earth, and you are born again on earth, before you die, then you have received God's "Gift of Salvation" and you will go to Heaven.

If you have not been forgiven or born again, before you die, then you died having committed the unprdonable sin, and you will go to Hell.

The False Satanic Gospel of Universalism that @St. SteVen teaches.... is that you dont have to be forgiven your sin, and born again on EARTH.. before you die to go to Heaven.
He's lying to you, and will again.

Evangelical propaganda.

There is no biblical support for your definition of the unpardonable sin.

You are limiting that to life on earth in this physical body.
That's where we disagree.

Romans 2:14-16 NIV
(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law,
do by nature things required by the law,
they are a law for themselves,
even though they do not have the law.
15 They show that the requirements
of the law are written on their hearts,
their consciences also bearing witness,
and their thoughts sometimes accusing them
and at other times even defending them.)
16 This will take place on the day when
God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ
,
as my gospel declares.
That's not a statement of universal regeneration.

Romans 2:3-16 KJV
3) And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4) Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
5) But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6) Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7) To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8) But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9) Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10) But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11) For there is no respect of persons with God.
12) For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13) (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14) For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15) Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
16) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Not me. Scripture. God, in fact.

Hebrews 9:26-28 KJV
26) For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
28) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

1 John 2:2 NIV
He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
This is such plain theology, you are very bold in your false presentation.

1 John 2:1-3 KJV
1) My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2) And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

John 1:29 KJV
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 3:3 KJV
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 3:18-19 KJV
18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Jesus removed the sin of the world, but even so, you must be born again. If you don't believe in Him, you remain condemned.

Evangelical propaganda.

The Cross of Christ is not "propaganda".

The shed blood of Jesus is the only reason sins can be forgiven, and must be, before you die or you can't go to Heaven.

@StSteven, are you saying that you dont have any sin that needs to be forgiven before you die?

There is no biblical support for your definition of the unpardonable sin.

According to your Threads and your Posts...Your God is your opinion.....and that is why you can't hear Truth. @St. SteVen

You're not a bible believer. So you are in no postion to try to teach theology on a Christian forum. You are a bible denier and a bible corrector......You have no use for the bible other then to insult it in your Threads, for God to Witness over and over..., as you've proven in so many of your Threads, and the Bible currently has no use for you as you are a Galatians 1:8.

According to your false "gospel"....you're on the outside of the KOG looking in, and can't realize it.
Paul refers to your type as "mind blinded". 2 Corin 4:4
Jesus refers to your type as a dark light.... in Luke 11

Now, I'll show you how to understand the "unpardonable sin".

Its very simple to understand.
All you have to do to commit this sin......... is die UN-Pardoned. = NEVER FORGIVEN by the Blood of Jesus while you were alive.
That's it....
If you die UN-Pardoned, then you died in your sins, never forgiven.. And Christ is not your Savior, and God is not your Father.
Now your demonic Universalism gospel teaches that you dont have to be forgiven your sin....and YET>.. if you die that way you have committed the unpardonable sin.
So, in that case, You died on this earth never being pardoned by The Cross of Christ.
This is why people went to Hell today, and yesterday, and tomorrow.

Titus 2:11 ESV
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people,
Yes, this is that "translation shopping" to get the one that seems to back you up.

Titus 2:9-15 KJV
9) Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
10) Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11) For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12) Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13) Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14) Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15) These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

God's grace has appeared to all men, grace that brings salvation.

John 1:29 NIV
... The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said,
“Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
John 3:3-7 KJV
3) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4) Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5) Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7) Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Sin removed is not the same thing as being regenerated. Certainly you must know this.

I thought Apokatastasis was only a theological term from the early church.
Now I come to find out that it is in the Bible as a word in the NT Greek text.
Thanks to my good friend and dear brother @Chadrho for pointing it out.

Here it is.

Acts 3:21 NIV
Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything,
as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Perhaps you can't see it? I can help.
"... until the time comes for God to restore everything,"
There it is. Here's the NT Greek.
ἀποκαταστάσεως (apokatastaseōs) — 1 Occurrence
Acts 3:21 N-GFS
GRK: ἄχρι χρόνων ἀποκαταστάσεως πάντων ὧν
NAS: [the] period of restoration of all things
KJV: the times of restitution of all things,
INT: until times of restoration of all things of which
So, "What is it?" you might ask.
Apocatastasis
In theology, apocatastasis is the restoration of creation to a condition of perfection.
In Christianity, it is a form of Christian universalism that includes the ultimate salvation of everyone
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'm often told that Christian Universalism isn't in the Bible.
Now we know better.

Agree or disagree?

1 Timothy 4:10 NIV
That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God,
who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.
"and"??

1 Timothy 4:9-10 KJV
9) This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
10) For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

μάλιστα
malista
mal'-is-tah
Neuter plural of the superlative of an apparently primary adverb μάλα mala (very); (adverb) most (in the greatest degree) or particularly: - chiefly, most of all, (e-) specially.
Total KJV occurrences: 12

He is the savior of all men, particularly those who believe.

This is once again not a statement of universal regeneration.

The passage he's working from qualifies the statement.

Acts 3:21 KJV
21) Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

So, those things the prophets said.

Much love!

Do you believe that God isn't really God unless He unleashes His unbridled fury on the vast majority of those He created in His own image?

1 Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

1 Corinthians 15:20-23 KJV
20) But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21) For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

Everyone who is in Adam died, which was all humanity. In the same way, all who are in Christ are made alive.

Romans 5:15-16
But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man,
how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
16 Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin:
The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.

Romans 5:15-16 KJV
15) But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16) And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

No comment needed. There is no statement of universalism here.

I believe God really Is God. This strikes me as a particularly silly question. It's not up to me to define God. The Bible does that for us. You need only believe all of it, not just select parts from select translations.

Romans 5:18-19 NIV
Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people,
so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.
19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners,
so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
Romans 5:18-19 KJV
18) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19) For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Again there are more than one way to interpret this passage. "came upon all men unto justification of life", not as the NIV, "resulted in justification and life for all people". I can see why you pick this translation for some of your prooftexts.

1761254756139.png
But do you truly suppose that Paul is contradicting himself? Of course he is not. These is not an explict statement of universal salvation here.

Paul makes an explicit statement here, moments before writing the part above, that it's by faith in Jesus Christ, not just on everyone regardless of whether they believe.

Romans 5:1-2 KJV
1) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

And just before this,

Romans 4:23-25 KJV
23) Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
24) But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
25) Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Again, context.

Another "everyone gets saved" thread--Ugh!

The error of such theology is that the darkness is not converted, it is destroyed and eternally separated from God.

Colossians 1:19-20
For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
Context!

Colossians 1:18-23 KJV
18) And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19) For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
20) And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
21) And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22) In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23) If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

2 Corinthians 5:19-20 KJV
19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Yes, God has reconciled the world to Himself, however, you must receive the reconciliation.

Romans 5:10-11 LITV
10) For if while being enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life;
11) and not only so, but also glorying in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we now received the reconciliation.
