There is one body and one gospel. Christ has made the Gentiles and Jews one. They don't have a separate gospel like the dispensationists teach.
There is only one church in this dispensation where there is neither Jew or Gentile

Before that there were two churches in Acts The church Christ built headed by Peter and the body of Christ

Before that there was just the church Christ built

Before that there was the congregation of Israel headed by Moses

This might help your position in affirming that fact.
Proverbs
I read the article you posted.
I don't seem to be able to find any mention of the Temple being a part of the New Covenant.
If it's not too much to ask...
could you copy and paste where it states this?
Thanks.

There is only one "church" in the book of acts. The body of Christ.
Just got here and I should be writing to @Doug, I guess.

He might mean that there are two TYPES of church....
one made of brick and mortar...the one we attend on Sunday.
It's a building known as a church.

Then there is the one you mention which is the Body of Christ.
In THIS sense, which I think to be the topic of this thread (not sure)
then I'd have to say that, yes, there is only one church and that is the Body of Christ to whom all
believers belong.

Jesus has one body...not two.

I get the idea he is subscribing to the ultra-dispensationists teachings of men like Les Feldick. They teach that there are two different gospels and two different churches. One is the "gospel of the kingdom" given strictly to Jews during Jesus' earthly ministry and the other is the "gospel of grace" given to the gentiles. The entire concept is built on a logical fallacy. They believe that since the gospel of the kingdom didn't mention the crucifixion and resurrection it cannot be the same as the gospel of grace.

Look at this passage...................[Act 2:41-42 KJV] 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Those that believed were ADDED to the church which church? first of all they continued in the APOSTLES DOCTRINE these apostles were Peter and the elven who headed the church Christ built secondly this was the church Paul persecuted in Acts 8:1 the body of Christ was not formed until after Acts 9 with Paul's conversion

First of all Paul is apostle to the Gentiles but his gospel is not just for Gentiles but also the Jew

The gospel of the kingdom was preached by Jesus and the twelve and is different in the fact that they were preaching for Israel to repent and believe Jesus was their Messiah the Son of God and be baptized and keep the law to enter the prophetic Davidic kingdom on earth and reign with Christ for a thousand years

The body of Christ, the same church that exists today

first of all they continued in the APOSTLES DOCTRINE these apostles were Peter and the elven who headed the church Christ built secondly this was the church Paul persecuted in Acts 8:1 the body of Christ was not formed until after Acts 9 with Paul's conversion
The apostolic doctrine was mandated here:

Mt 28:18-20
All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

That is the doctrine of the apostles. Jesus commanded them to teach it to ALL NATIONS not just the Jews. Your hyper-dispensationalism is in error.

There is one gospel:

Gal 1:11 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

There is one body:

Eph 4:4
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

One Lord and one FAITH

Eph 4:5-6 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Stop listening to Les Feldick who got that heresy from Bullinger.

Ac 17:30-31 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

He commands ALL men to repent. Not just the Jews. All men must believe the gospel of grace. All men must repent.

The church in Acts 2 was persecuted by Paul.................[Act 8:1 KJV] 1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles.

So Paul persecuted his own Church? Paul persecuted the body of Christ? the churches he oversaw and cared for?

Read the passage this commandment was given to the twelve and will be fulfilled in the Davidic kingdom on earth in which Christ will reign for a thousand years

That doesnt refute that Peter was preaching the kingdom

Yes, before he was converted. After conversion he joined them in the temple vows:

Ac 21:23-24
Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them; Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.

Read the passage this commandment was given to the twelve and will be fulfilled in the Davidic kingdom on earth in which Christ will reign for a thousand years
Where does it say this in scripture? It is sheer folly to think Jesus wouldn't give them commands relevant to the present age.

And you wont find Peter saying this
Peter's message was redemption through the blood of Jesus just as Paul's was:

1 Pe 1:18-19
8 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Paul did as well. It's part of the gospel:

Ac 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

I can appreciate your argument

I dont see the body of Christ being formed before Acts 9

Who can say whether they will be raised to fulfill this Just food for thought
