One can carry things that can be turned into weapons when needed. A walking stick. An umbrella. Steel capped shoes. Faith in God in any defense of family and neighbor. But Britain has gone insane in its implementing of laws. The recent incident where a man indecently assaulted a young girl walking with her father, and the father was arrested for assault on the perpetrator.

Amazing. And the perpetrator walked?

Also, why do you presume that us all having guns would solve the problems, all we would end up having is mass shootings like the USA - guns have never given your country peace or protection from people that want to do other harm, so why on earth would you think it would prevent things like this happening. Some years ago three of our US military guys were on a train in Europe. A terrorist started attacking people on the train and our guys jumped into action and stopped the terrorist.

Clint Eastwood made a movie about it. He also hired the actual military guys to act in the movie! I would love to see this movie.

It is too early to speculate - we have knife crimes for many reasons. They will say if it’s terrorism once they know, they don’t hide it.
Not everyone had guns when the firearms acts was changed in 1968, the original act was in 1920. I don’t recall any of my grand parents having guns. I was born in 1958 and where I lived guns were not part of life, unless you had a farm.

Yes, I am well aware of that but considering the attack had not long happened when I posted that it was too early to speculate. At the time two men had been arrested , but one of them turned out to be completely innocent. Also there are witnesses who saw the attacker staggering along the platform, so this could be drug related.

The beginning of this video shows the attacker inside a barbershop wielding his large knife as customers flee! This happened the day before the train attack!!!

Also, just prior to the barbershop incident, he had stabbed a 14 year old boy!

I read that and watch the video and my mind keeps going back to that Ukrainian woman stabbed to death on a train. I guess because the graphic crime was released to the public.
To think that kind of thing is repeatedly happening in the UK is heart wrenching.


It has to be stopped. By any means available.

God protect the UK and rest in peace all who were killed by evil men.

I'm surprised he was able to ride to each place where and while he wreaked havoc .
