Not at all. Your belief about Romans 8:9 is just unbelievable.

Like I said, I already covered all that, see my post #91 and 92.

You can believe whatever about God's Word however you like, but your FALSE WITNESS AGAINST ME you will... indeed pay for. It's coming, but you won't be prepared for it. God's Word will not be mocked, and those doctrines of men you hold to against Paul's teaching in Romans 7 show you as a mocker of what Paul wrote there.

You are talking out of another hole now.

I'm conversing, dude. Im not debating. It's true. Jesus was the only one to fulfilled loving God, and loving his neighbor as himself. No one else did that they?

Let me ask, have you fulfilled that commandment since the day you were born? I know I had not.

No, you are mocking. And not just me, but the actual Word of God that I REFERRED YOU TO.

As a believer, disciple, and Apostle of Christ, how could Apostle John write the following for Christians...

1 John 5:1-3
5 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth Him That begat loveth Him also that is begotten of Him.

2 By this we know that we love the children of God,
when we love God, and keep His commandments.

3
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.
KJV

John is actually referring to what Jesus said about loving The Father with all thy heart and mind as the 1st commandment. So that ain't about a dead law that Jesus nailed to His cross.

I dont have to live by everything the bible says dude.

You have the holy spirit/Spirit of the Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ to help you out.

Yes, love God and love others, it's only possible through Jesus, and not your self willed effort.

It has to do with the heart.

You either believe and having faith and love - and it is excuded from Jesus within you, or its not, and its all faked.

God will the only one to tell the difference.

Im not mocking anything...

Well, you said it, I didn't.

But Jesus said:

Matt 4:4
4 But He answered and said,
"It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
KJV

Hello @Davy,

I don’t have to live by everything the Bible says, dude.

Sure—but let’s be real: the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3:6). The law was never meant to be a checklist for self-righteousness. It was a tutor to lead us to Christ (Galatians 3:24), not a ladder to climb by our own strength.

You have the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of the Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ—to help you out.

Absolutely. “If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you” (Romans 8:11). You’re not left to figure it out alone.

Yes, love God and love others—it’s only possible through Jesus, not your self-willed effort.

Exactly. “Apart from Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). The greatest commandments—love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37–39)—aren’t burdens to carry alone. They’re fulfilled in us by the Spirit (Romans 5:5).
It has to do with the heart.
“For man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). And He promises: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you” (Ezekiel 36:26).

You either believe, and have faith and love—and it is exuded from Jesus within you—or it’s not, and it’s all faked.

That’s real. “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!” (2 Corinthians 13:5).
And if it’s real, “the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

God will be the only one to tell the difference.
Yes. “The Lord knows those who are his” (2 Timothy 2:19). And “each one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it… and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done” (1 Corinthians 3:13).

I’m not mocking anything…
And that matters. “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap” (Galatians 6:7). But if your heart is humble, seeking truth, not scoffing—then you’re not mocking. You’re wrestling. And that’s where grace meets you.

The spirit of God will always trump the Bible itself, because the spirit of God is God living within you... you dont always need that bible.

That's been one of the problems a certain church in Rome, that I won't name, has had.

And? What is it? Judgements from human beings... so what?

God is gonna look at the end of the day at the heart of human beings...

Do you hate those people?

Cause there many people who hate Calvinist, Homosexuals, Pedophiles, Murders, and everything else one can think of...

Aren't people suppose to choose for themselves if they look to God of not? Yeah some groups got some things mixed up and here and there whatever but most organizations believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Yeshua.

A Pedophile dies, yeah he had a sick and twisted thought process and a horrible upbrining having been pillaged by his own parents, which of course is a story in itself, and a single case for each one... yet they believed in and on the Lord Yeshua, and his death, burial and resurrection....

(Please report to the police in incidents concerning cases like this - these people do need to be put in jail, and or helped to get them perhaps in a place where they are not doing such things if so God allows it to be.)

You know? is the Roman Catholic person going to hell?

If you say yes, please say yes, don't try to figure out a way to get past it, but who are you to judge who is or is not going to hell anyway?

Do you have a problem within yourself and your mind concerning people and their sins?

Cause I dont think about sin... I know people believe all kinds of things, but if they tell you, yeah I believe that Jesus rose again on the third day and I am also a Catholic...

Are you gonna be quick to say "You are doomed! Cause you dont know a freaking thing about nothing!"

I mean come on dude... thats a miserable life to live, in my opinion.

Jesus spoke to Jewish people. Harkening them back to what was stated concerning the Old Testament. Reminding them of the wrath to come, and the messiah to come, and the great and dreadful day of the LORD.

....

Why do you try to drum up excuses for NOT staying in God's written Word? That kind of thinking is of the world, and not of Christ.

And no, I don't hate... anyone. But I do hate... what some people do. And that because God also hates abominations that He has shown by His Word as written. And I don't have time to spoon feed the rebellious about those abominations that God shows He hates.

You are seeing the "I" and "me" and deducing Paul is speaking in present tense, but if you would just read a little further you will see in Romans 8:2 that Paul is again in present tense revealing through Jesus Christ he was freed from Romans 7:14-25. Those verss are about those who are still enslaved to their sin nature - the old man of Romans 6:5-7. Paul teaches we are freed from sin. Even before Romans 7:14-25 you are reading out of context, that verses 5-6 show we are not in the flesh of 14-25. The carnal nature is in our past if we have been freed by Jesus Christ. And anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. Romans 8:9.

I know it is not your fault that you misinterpret Romans 7:14-25, it is what you have been taught by man. I would wager you also believe that 1 John 1:8 is about a Christian which completely dismisses the power of Jesus Christ. Read 1 John 1:9 and tell me how much unrighteousness is cleansed? Are they still a sinner?

Im just telling you the facts. If you know how to love properly in agape love, by the spirit of the Resurrected Lord Jesus Christ...

You don't no longer need a bible... It's only there to provide us hope that God is there for you, he loves you, cares for you, and rose his son up for the justification of your sins being paid for...

Why do you think I need the bible? I already been in and out of it for several years.

I never said the bible is useless.

I just find it intriguing that people love to use the bible to "Defend" something... lol... what is there to defend?

Among other reasons, the Bible is there to help us guard against error, something, I think, most or all are prone to.

Much love!

Can't even prove God exists.
Hi Matthew,

I went to church for the first 30 years of my life without once receiving an answered prayer, so, yes, I know what you mean. That is why we MUST be born again of the Spirit and that is through realizing we cannot be holy or even righteous by ourselves like the Jews had to keep the commandments hindered by a sin nature, Romans 7:14-25. That old man, their sin nature was what Jesus came to cleanse by His blood into a clean nature that could partake of the divine nature of God. Once I through integrity of heart broke down and truly repented - not by turning away from sin on my own - but by confessing that I couldn't stop sinning and needed a Savior from my SIN, not from punishment as is taught, but is false.

Once I was filled with the Holy Spirit, I could hear His voice and even have received a gift that is "a wonder." But people on these forum must be jealous regarding my testimony, which is what Paul did, and I have been called names like arrogant, proud, etc., even though Paul did the same and told us to imitate him. So they certainly can't believe that the God I serve exists.

That still does not escape that Jesus said we shall not live by 'bread' alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. That means you cannot... just rely on your 'own' reasoning.

Nah... you want things YOUR WAY, and disregard what God says how things are and will be. What you are doing is the SAME type of rebellion that Satan did when he first fell. Those who rebel with Satan are those who DO NOT WANT ANY AUTHORITY OVER THEM, and thus that shows they want to be their 'own' god. Sorry, The GOD in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ is NOT going to allow that to happen, as He said there is no other God.

If you say so. I don't believe Satan is still around anymore, so... I mean you can assume all kinds of things.

I am just being straight forward.

What people judge, concerning my words are moot.

Faith is lived by action, just as Abraham wandered never knowing where he was going, trusting God.
