You know the standard theological answer to this.
That God has a general love for All mankind, seen in his provission of life etc for all and that God hates sin, which if not repented of will lead to judgement.
Repented of? (repented from?)

Overrule His love? That should NEVER happen.
Where did you find that belief?
Do you you believe in a two-faced God? A smiling savagery?

Can you separate yourself from your doctrines? - Who are you really?

Credo ergo sum - I believe; therefore I am.

Isn't that the Protestant philosophical framework?

Something like that.

The Bible translators biased it, I believe it, that settles it.
Why would you question God?

The Protestant non-negotiable principle of Paul's "Justification through faith" (Romans 3:28, Ephesians 2:8) seems to be commonly understood as "Justification by belief". Look around at some of these discussions and tell me you don't see it.

We need a better understanding of what "faith" really is.

I need a heart-felt, core understanding of what "faith" really is, because I do it too.

Agree.
That what my topic below was about.

Agree.
Christians tend to make it rather binary, but it is actually multifaceted.

We all need to repent of the sin of rejecting God and his laws.

God is not two faced. He is consistent in his requirement that we follow him and that failure will result in punishment.

Believe or burn?
The consequence for rejecting the free gift is eternal torture?
Sounds more like extortion. "Make them an offer they can't refuse."

Only if one starts with the assumption that there is no orgininal sin.

Can you separate yourself from your doctrines? - Who are you really?

A key indicator: You are offended when anyone disagrees with your doctrine.

What defines you? Who are you really?

I never have my own doctrines, only something learning from the Bible.
And all about obey the command of God out of love, this is the main doctrines about Bible.

- Who are you really?

I will be what I will be.

First, First of all, think about my own understanding about whether the setting is correct. Then think about others. Is there any reason for him to disagree with me?Then think with reference to the Bible. Is my opinion reasonable, or is the opinion of others reasonable?
What defines you?
Holy spirit.

That's a common response.
It doesn't explain why there is no doctrinal consensus among Christians.
Meaning, each one has their own doctrines of choice.
Yet they all claim their doctrines are biblical. How can that be?

Obey the word of God.
Obedient
Obedience.

The Epistle to the Galatians
5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Self-professing Christians struggle with this. Pretend it is saved by our own work.

When my hungry granddaughter let me know she needed a bottle, I didn't stubbornly say she can't tell me what to do! I her elder. I have authority over her. Who is she to tell me to get her a bottle.

I acted out of love in doing the right thing. (Gave her a bottle)

It's easy to understand this idea of acting out of love when it's an innocent baby AND you want to feed the hungry infant. We make it complicated when we don't WANT to do what our Creator specifies - even when it is in our best interest.

But you said "no wonder I don't trust the Bible".

Christians do TRUST the Bible!
