Betraying the USA is common ground with all modern day politicians on both sides.Trump has spent a lot of time berating and calling Zohran Mamdani a Communist, a far left radical Islamist who hates America/Israel, and yet his recent meeting with him went surprisingly well. The President has stated that it was a "great honor" to have met Mamdani and thinks he will be a really great mayor.
This meeting has obviously shocked lots of people on both Democrats and Republicans' side.

He is not confused. But what is different. I have never thought his character was that great. While not as what the media may say, I think the Epstein files are incriminating. I am skeptical of recent news that Trump had his own operation. It may the women in his cabinet.
Don't see this as something nefarious from Trump. Trump is pursuing peaceful strategies, but if you notice when he finds a political enemy or opponent, he does not hold back from wrath. I view it as dealing with the reality of the world we have. All politics is worldly and by nature, compromising.
