What is the difference between the gospel to the Jews and the gospel to the gentiles?

There is a biblical warning about not preaching any OTHER gospel.
But it seems that there was a gospel message to the Jews and a gospel message to the gentiles.
Because the two audiences were completely different.

- The Jews, of course were expecting a Messiah. The gentiles weren't.
- The Jews were raised under the law. The gentiles weren't.

What other key differences altered the gospel message to the Jews as opposed to the gentiles?

Johh is speaking about the WORD OF LIFE....
Which was manifested to them....the Apostels...
And which they also proclaim to believers.

1 John was written at the end of the 1st century....
The word was already widespread among the Gentiles....

John was writing to the Gentiles and the Jews that were still alive from Jesus' time.

This is how it was done in that time.

Kings and kingdoms.

No elections.

When a stronger kingdom was to overthrow another kingdom, they would amass their army and go to the kingdom city where the opposing king resided and surround that city and then the commander of the army would ride out to meet the other commander and announce the unconditional terms of surrender.


Turn away from the king you are serving and come and "bend the knee" (submit) to the king of Babylon (example) or you will die.


This is how a person would be transferred out of their kingdom into the kingdom that was at hand, by repenting; turning away from the king who was about to be conquered and submit to the conquering king of Babylon that was at hand.


The first century people who heard this understood the meaning.

Those are the core messages of the faith. The whole basis of Christianity! Christ was both man and God, He was sinless, He died in our place. People need to know all of his. Our sin put him on that cross and every Christian should know these very key truths for redemption, and forgiveness of the sins that put Christ there to begin with.

A person need not have all their doctrine figured out to receive the Lord.

How many gospels are there?

The gospel is a gem with many facets. The focus depends on the facet you examine. It's the old "three blind men define an elephant" dilemma One grabs the trunk and says it's a wall. Another a leg and says it's a tree. It seems that some here want to cut that ole elephant up and define the piece they see as a separate entity but there is only one elephant. There is also only one gospel.

Scripture teaches that there is one gospel and one Savior, applied across redemptive history.

Romans 3:25 explicitly states that God forgave sins committed before the cross in view of Christ’s atoning death. Paul likewise says that the gospel was “preached beforehand to Abraham” (Gal 3:8), and that all who are of faith are blessed along with him.

John the Baptist stands in that same covenant line. Jesus Himself affirms John’s place in the kingdom (Matt 11:11), and John explicitly testified that Jesus is “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).

Salvation has never depended on possessing later doctrinal detail, but on faith in God’s promised Redeemer. Christ’s saving work applies both forward and backward in time (Heb 9:15).

Therefore, John the Baptist was saved by faith in Christ, just as Abraham was — not by a different gospel, but by the same one revealed progressively.

Not by a different gospel , but by the same one was was REVEALED IN CHRIST .
Christ had not yet been crucified nor risen again . This HE would fullfill .
But after His ressurection He had told The apostels to tarry at JERSUALEM
till the POWER be poured upon them f rom on HIGH .
AND FROM THAT MOMENT ON , The preaching OF THE ONE TRUE GOSPEL would forever be taught
His death , burial and RESSURECTION and the DIRE NECESSITY to BELEIVE IT .
That gospel . HAS NEVER changed . It was given by the apostels
Later even paul would have it revealed to him . And i frankly dont care what this ecumeincal generation has to say

Next reason as to why Christ taught the UNIQUE Gospel to Paul in Gal 1:11-12 that the 12 did not yet know.

That conclusion doesn't follow logically.

That they added nothing says that Paul already had the entire gospel. If anything, this re-confirms that it is the same gospel, because they were comparing... it's not a contrast.

However, I would agree that there seems to be a thread that ties all these gospels together. A common thread.
But what is it?

Is it repentance, as you say? Or something else? The forerunner was preaching the baptism of repentance. ???

Was Abraham saved by the Gospel that Christ UNIQUELY taught to Paul ?

11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
